    Exceptional presentation. If you do studio work at all there isn't a better tool you can use to improve productivity and workflow. The second I started using COP7 in the studio, LR became a distant memory.

    I have a Mamiya digital back with the firewire 800. Now, I have a new iMac with thunder bolt in the back only. I bought the connection that changes from thunderbolt to firewire 800 and when I connect to the camera it does not work. Do I need something else? Or what am I doing wrong?
    Thanks!

    Hi :)
    Is it possible to simultaneously save photos to a computer and a memory card in the camera (security copy)? Thanks

    • @BandH

      It is possible to save the photos to a computer and a memory card in the camera for redundancy, but that would be camera specific.

    hello gentlemen of B & H download the trial software Capture One 8 connect my Nikon D3200 good is a fx and out on the screen capture one did not recognize the part of video and could not shoot from there he left locked, want to buy the program, but need to know if it is compatible with my Nikon D3200, or needs some cables, and other questions as they are called the orange wire used there. I hope your answer thanks to the software that interests me.

      +Blaz Valverde - Unfortunately, Capture One Pro is not compatible with the D3200 for tethered shooting. I’m not aware of any software on the market that is compatible with that camera for shooting tethered. I believe this is due to a limitation of the camera itself. For this feature you would likely need to move up to a camera with more advanced features, such as one of the D5000 series cameras. *Christina* AskPhoto@bhphoto.com

    I have been using Canon EOS Utility with 7D Mark II for a while. While it is helpful for product shots composition the live view looks very grainy and it is not useful to help me nail an accurate focus when I manually fine tune focus ring on camera, very frustrating. I have to always look at camera screen to confirm the focus. Maybe Capture one will be fine or is there something else?...

      I use it with 70 no problem with remote control RC, with trackball, with timer, and two monitors one for live view and second for final photo, I had so many crazy sessions and lot of fun. yet it is not perfect, I will connect live view to 55" tv

    Incredibly frustrating when you try to follow along on your own Capture One software (Pro 8) and it doesn't allow the same functions. Example: Next Capture Naming (video 28:55) in sessions, being able to name captures by "File Name" and then a digital number is evidently not an option. In the Naming Format screen, under Tokens, "Folder Name" isn't an option, and yet it was what I would choose to use as I shoot a variety of products, and each will have their own folder name, by product name/number. I have run into several issues where what the speaker does, doesn't work the same way in C18. Why would you change basic key strokes in versions? This has been really frustrating.
    Honestly, I am finding Lightroom to be considerably more intuitive.

    What good is Capture One for Windows if it does not support Live-View for Sony SLT-A99/A77/A77 Mark II, Olympus OM-D and Samsung NX1.
    Why still using outdated tethered hooked up?
    No one tethered their speedlites anymore.
    No one tethered their monolight.
    Show us shooting wirelessly when you are charging $750.00 for loading only to 5 computers.

      Im not sure exactly as I am new to the software but I am aware there is two different versions of the software, one dedicated to Sony cameras. This may be your cause of your issues?

    I sometimes shoot tethered with ON1. The images are not saved in-camera, so if something goes wrong I don't have the safety of reuploading from the camera. How about Capture One Pro 20?

    • @BandH
      @BandH  4 года назад

      Unfortunately, Capture One Pro 20 would not save to a card as a back-up for the images that are saved to your computer when tethering.

    I need help! I need to know if there is a way to shoot to a memory card while tethering to capture one pro 8. I am a digital tech and my clients work flow is highly dependent on CF cards. Having to dump the images from a computer to a hard drive then getting the images to the client is not working out for my situation. We are shooting with the 5D Mark 3 if that matters. Thanks!

    • @BandH
      @BandH  9 лет назад

      Jason Reed Unfortunately there is no solution currently to solve your clients workflow needs. I had a colleague of mine who owns the 5D Mk III and uses Capture One Pro 8 attempt to find any work around's and he could not. I am sorry about that. You may want to consider some sort of cloud based storage system that allows multiple users/clients to access it such as dropbox. - Yossi
