The best part is, years and years from now you'll forget how much money you made on this film, but the memory of making something with your grandfather is forever. Incredible stuff guys.

Being closer to Lorenzo’s age I know the sweet comfort of drinking from a mug that has touched the lips of your Greatest Love and transforms a chipped and ordinary thing into a touchstone of a time when laughter shook the kitchen table and all was right with the world. Thank you for this!

The artistic expressions in these shorts are just incredible and speaks volume, even without a single word spoken.

What a beautiful video. When he started the video projector, I was not expecting to see footage of him receiving his watch as a gift. I got emotional watching that part. Such an incredible way to capture the journey.

reminds me of my grandfather- he recently turned 102. There's a lost art to the "older way" of doing things. Double-edged razors. 8mm. Repairing appliances- heck even appliances that can be repaired. Whenever I strap on a mechanical watch, I feel that I'm keeping that older way alive- even for just a little while longer. I'm a bridge between modern and vintage. The way things were versus the way they are. Sure modern is great and probably better, but the feel of a mechanical ANYTHING to me is superior to a cold and heartless modern thing. I use double-edged razors, drive a manual transmission, play a musical instrument, can repair things, and wear a mechanical timepiece, both new and vintage. It's relatable to my grandfather and a way to keep the better things alive for years to come.

“Lorenzo is wearing a Theo and Harris “Memento” alligator strap, in rich brown tones that evoke coffee… and memory… It is, bar none, the best strap on the market. Find it at the T&H watch shop.”

I don’t often comment on RUclips videos… but this is one of the best pieces of film I have ever watched. Emotive, poignant and down right beautiful. The fact there was no

The moment I realized that he is the young man that got the watch in the film and then his eyes swells without dropping off a tear made me stop breathing in a moment... A lot must have gone through his mind, the joy and sorrow of living encapsulated in that moment. Brilliant!

I never thought watches were special until 6 months ago when my father-in-law gifted me one of his watches. A few days later I started spending hours on end watching RUclips videos, exploring watches, trying to figure out my taste, compiling lists of watches I wish to own one day and admiring the beauty and history of some watches and watch makers. Today, I understand why someone would buy a watch to commemorate the birth of a child and I believe those who say every watch has a story and a soul because I too have become one of you.

So much was said without words. Emotional, artistic and elegant are the first three words that came to mind after I watched this video. VC is a brand that deserves much more recognition. its videos like this that will give VC the recognition they deserve.

Very good video, brought tears to my eyes. Reminded me of my grandfather when I lived in Sestri Levante Italy many years ago. He had a similar watch and almost the same routine in the morning. Very touching, he was a watch lover. And a great Italian man of wisdom and kindness.
