I found that when I read Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. This series has had its ups and downs, but overall I still think it's been quite good.

This episode was the best of the series just for the wookie fight but that part was stupid as hell, just what was she trying to do exactly stupid death eater wannabe witches

For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were -the guardians of- picking grass.
Imagine sending Delta Force or the SAS to pick grass in Sri Lanka for 6 months. I can't help but think the show is dumb or they picked the worst Jedi of the Order to do the most menial tasks as a way to keep them out of trouble. Low and behold they still somehow massacred a lesbian space witch amoeba commune that settled on an abandoned planet. lol. Obviously the show is horrible, but I still think, when looked at in aggregate, it's a satire. The show writers didn't intend it, but that's what it is.

It's a lie by omission. Yes it's true that Mae started a fire that went out of control, but they don't mention the fact that much of the chaos and death happened because of the Jedi's involvement, specifically Torbin and Sol breaking in and starting shit. Without them, the Witches would have probably been able to get the fire under control and everything would have been fine, or they would have at least been able to evacuate without any loss of life.

Jedi didn't "break in" to "kidnap" children, thet wanted to clarify things, instead those witches escalated situation, attacked, mindtricked several Jedi, incited a vulnerable angry kid to start the fire... It's their fault. Neither Sol nor Indara would have resorted to killing hadn't they been attacked over and over again by those witches

No, he's definitely referring to his Padawan in Legends that turned to the Dark Side. The whole conversation was about Qui Gon's padawans. I used to love the name Xanatos. I can't remember exactly what happened in that book, but I do remember Qui Gon saved the name by telekentically molding a ring back together, which got him and Obi Wan out of some trap and he helped heal Xanatos of his anger.
It's been over two decades since I read it though, so I could have the details a little off.
Qui Gon saved the day*. Not name. That was a typo. Dunno why day turned into "name", lol.

8:57 accident or not, she did say she was gonna kill her sister to prevent her from leaving 20 seconds before burning her sister's book and then acting surprised and dropping the oil lighter thing causing a chain reaction that climbed up the wall and started an electrical fire that caused a chain reaction that ended up causing the whole power system in the fortress to burn and explode.
Who'd have thought a fortress would be made of anthracite

If I was a Jedi Master reading this mission report & it described everything that happened my only comments would be:
Torbin: Maybe you need to get counselling for when you're away from home, you seemed abit too uneasy & you went crazy for a minute there saying you were going to kidnap those children.
Sol: You possibly care abit too much about innocent children.You met that girl for like 10 minutes & seemed to have formed a really emotional bond. Keep that in check buddy. I have no further advice, great work killing that smoke demon by the way.
Trinity: You seem really dismissive of your Padewan when he was tortured. Don't let that happen again or if it does treat it the same way as if they started force choking you.
Kel-Naka: I think we need to get you a Magneto helmet to stop mind invasion but otherwise seems like you didn't do anything wrong buddy. I hope you don't feel any guilt for this.
All in all team I think you had a pretty successful mission. Shame the other child died but from what Sol sensed it seems like she might have already been corrupted by the dark side if she tried to burn her sister to death. Wiping out that evil lesbian communist space witch cult seems like a net positive for the galaxy, you all get gold stars. Obviously in the future I'd recommend scanning the planet for life before spending 7 weeks studying moss but I'm not gonna tell you how to do your job, if you like spending that long away from the Jedi temple then you guys do you.

Based on those earlier “everyone must be sacrificed” comments from Mae and the fact that it looked like Osha was being disintegrated, Sol clearly thought that the head witch was going to kill Osha when she turned into the dark Force cloud.
No, it doesn’t make a lot of sense. Nothing in this series makes a lot of sense. It’s a mess of contrivances masquerading as a plot.

I feel like there's a significant lack of stabbing action to satisfy Ghost Qui. There'd better be a whole lot of stabbing in the finale.

@@blizzyblob There's good acting, but the writing is god awful. Sol and Qimir are good examples of good acting, but that's vastly different from what you can truly achieve given your script. Osha/Mae on the other hand... The acting is extremely bad. So is Yord and the white dude that came with Vernestra to "investigate". I will give credit where it's due, but you have to distinguish between writing and acting. As bad as the writing is, Sol and Qimir did well as far as their script would let them.
All in all, I just watch the show for laughs at this point. I also watch it from a different source rather than spending money on Disney+ as they don't deserve the money/viewership.

This episode was hilarious, so Mae didn’t become Michael Myers at first. She just did a big whoopsie which could’ve burned her sister alive, THEN after all that she became Michael Myers.
After the Jedi murdered her family, tossed her in a pit, and took her sister. Sixteen years later she went on her mission of revenge but I can see why she was annoyed
@@bridget7539She wasn't tossed, she didn't want to come. Jedi didn't just take her sister, Osha chose it. Sol killed her mother, true, but Indara killed them in self-defence essentially. Mae did start the fire though (and not as the revenge for that but for sociopathic reasons) after being agitated by one of her mothers. The coven aggravated situation for no purpose, noone was "kidnapping" their children.

@@Kekkersboy go take a look at all the atrocities and calamities caused or committed by force users, both light and dark throughout the millennia and then tell me again that there doesn’t need to be some sort of regulatory body looking out for similar issues. People compare the dark side of the force to a drug for good reasons, though they often forget that just as many are addicted to narcotics as there are to stimulants. The force amplifies what you put into it and if you don’t pay careful attention this causes issues no matter what side you use, this can be seen even in the base movies.
I wouldn't mind an "Acolyte " season 2 only so I could watch it with these guys 😂

14:45 To be fair... Yoda could have force pulled Anakin and Obi-wan (weight of 300lbs?) from the rubble falling down onto them and continue faced off with Dooku.. but instead lifted up (800lbs - 3000lbs of rubble), letting Dooku escape with the death star plans.
Slightly more justifiable in that case as you could just assume Yoda quickly grabbed the rubble & then didn't have enough "force power" to pull them out from underneath without letting go of the rubble which during that half a second would have squished Obi-Wan & Anakin.
In this case if Sol lets go of both bridges he can totally grab the girls in the air. They weight significantly less than those bridges.

The Padowan Tommen obviously misses his cat, Sir Pounce from Game of Thrones. "I want to go home" just might be the most convincing piece of dialogue to date, no acting required. Tommen is very fond of his cat and seven weeks away is too long, especially for such a lovable furball that was Sir Pounce. Sir Pounce grows lonely without Tommen and that has been playing on his mind for almost two months. Great way to pad out a comment. Just use half of what you did before from a slightly different angle.
