I did read a lot about him during #metoo and even some people that worked close to him didn't know (and many who did were small fry and risked losing their entire career if they spoke up) because like many abusers he knew how to cover his tracks, you can see something similar with Joss Whedon in that he knew who he could bully and get away with it so even actors who worked on his stuff for years knew nothing about it.

To be fair, it's not automatically a problem if some characters are just fucking stupid. Just so long as the story *acknowledges* that they're fucking stupid.
They did as much a job as they could making every white male Jedi look like the wimpiest dude ever to exist. Even young Ewan MacGregor in Phantom Menace at least looked fit and plausibly athletic, even with the robes. He didn't have a noodle-neck or sad puppy dog eyes (or absolutely nonsensical obesity, like the guy on that one planet).
Feels like the same issues a present as in Ahsoka. Sabine was never shown to strengthen her connection to the force till the end when she suddenly uses it easily. In the Acolyte, there was never much anger or rage shown from Osha at what happened and both times she found her sister, she let her go or was *completely defenceless* against her. Then suddenly, "oh shes super mad now and can use the force to choke out Sol." I want to believe these people can do the things they can do, just SHOW ME SOONER THAN THE FINALE. Make it believable, give us some kind of lead up. Osha doubts Sol, Osha uses the force against Mae, *anything*.
Luke Skywalker heard some old war stories, bits of Obi "wisdom" while in hyperspace and fought a single probe droid blindfolded... before being able to hit the Death Star exhaust port without using any targeting system... after a whole couple of days of training after saying "the force?" quizzically. He went from moisture farmer to expert figher pilot in days. Osha had been trained as a nightsister witch since birth, then was taken to the jedi academy for an unknown amount of time before dropping out. Is her connection to the force such a big mystery? When learning that her most trusted "master" Sol had actually lied to her by saying her mother had died in the fire, when in reality he had sabered her down, why wouldn't she get angry? Why are the standards for character progression suddenly so harsh when it comes to modern Star Wars?
Osha herself in stated in epidode one that her force powers were diminished after not using them for so long. It would be like Luke saying his piloting skills diminished because he hasn't pod raced since he was 10. Luke never verbally contradicted his abilities and instead progressed in them. Osha was completely useless and couldn't even protect herself or her friends with any force/string activity during the entire series... then all the sudden she's uses force choke to kill a Jedi Master. The world is fantasy, and there will always be that prodigy character, but there still has to be non contradictory progressions.

So. The senator is worried about Jedis going rogue. And, instead of saying that there is a threat from a Sith and the daughters of a dark-side witch cult (which is why you need the Jedi), Vernestra blames everything on a Jedi. Worst. cover-up. ever.
But the truth includes that her old apprentice is a sith and rogue jedi. That's the real thing she wants to cover up, looking out for her own skin first

If The Acolyte tales play in 132 BBY and Yoda was 900 years old, the equivalent in human years of 90 when he died in 4 ABY, then he would be about 15% younger, probably around 77-78 years old in human years during The Acolyte. You'd think he's have a few more stands of hair at this point in the timeline.
The lightsaber crystal bleeding to red after a single murder, while Anakin's lightsaber remaining blue even after murdering all the younglings was a missed joke. Having said that, one of the best episodes of my favorite Star Wars show!!!!

Especially since only a couple episodes ago Mae's sole goal was getting Osha to run away with her, and when she refused is when she attacked her. Reuniting with her sister has been the only semi-consistent goal she's had, and now she's going to just willingly accept being separated again? When there is literally no reason to do so, and would actually be far safer than letting her be captured by the Jedi, who are the only ones with the possible capability and motivation to try to restore her memory.

If The Acolyte tales play in 132 BBY and Yoda was 900 years old, the equivalent in human years of 90 when he died in 4 ABY, then he would be about 15% younger, probably around 77-78 years old in human years during The Acolyte. You'd think he's have a few more stands of hair at this point in the timeline.

The lightsaber crystal bleeding to red after a single murder, while Anakin's lightsaber remaining blue even after murdering all the younglings was a missed joke. Having said that, one of the best episodes of my favorite Star Wars show!!!!

Especially since only a couple episodes ago Mae's sole goal was getting Osha to run away with her, and when she refused is when she attacked her. Reuniting with her sister has been the only semi-consistent goal she's had, and now she's going to just willingly accept being separated again? When there is literally no reason to do so, and would actually be far safer than letting her be captured by the Jedi, who are the only ones with the possible capability and motivation to try to restore her memory.
