Charlie Hopkinson is a comedic impressionist, impersonator, voice guy, whatever you want to call it who specialises in voices from current television shows and films. His standup is a character act about a retired maths teacher, his standup set includes impressions of Sir David Attenborough, Robin Williams, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Peaky Blinders, Tommy and Arthur Shelby and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings.
Always looking to update my roster I look to try out subscriber suggested impressions in the impressions challenge series before honing the best ones. Recently I have added Peaky Blinders and Marvel / Avengers characters to my arsenal!

I started learning impressions in 2012, at the age of 20. You can follow my full impressions journey in my new ‘How to do impressions’ tutorial series
After graduating from the University of Warwick in the summer 2013 he took 4 months out to concentrate on RUclips videos full time, including producing his most viewed video to date ‘Morgan Freeman and 40 other impressions’ with just over 12 million views. This foray into being a ‘full time RUclipsr’ was cut short as he went travelling for 3 months before starting a 2 year teaching Graduate scheme with Charity ‘Teach First’.
While teaching he has performed in and narrated the 4 episode series ‘Lookalikes’ as Morgan Freeman. The show and the narration received a positive reception. The show aired on Channel 4 during the prime time slot of Friday 10pm for three weeks. It is now currently available on Netflix. Charlie also performed with other well known impressionists for an unaired pilot.
Charlie has worked for several prominent brands in relation to their products, including google and formula 1.
Since the summer of 2016 Charlie has once again dived into the world of RUclips, for the first time producing content on a weekly basis. He is also focusing on live performance; he has performed in live venues a total of 3 times to date.

Fun fact he never was allowed on the counsel/nor did he agree with them. So what you see in the film is probably the most he dealt with them besides the greats and Dooku.

@@spunchnurntly4979 actually he was selected for the council specifically because they did want his voice to be heard as a contrarian view. That said Qui Gon turned them down precisely because they were playing politics and he wanted to follow the will of the force like a true Jedi.

Except that the Force isn't about Jedi or Sith. The Force _is_. But it can be corrupted, forced through a dirty channel, thrown out of balance, and that's the "Dark Side".
It's very similar to Jewish Qabalah. The tree shows the universe in perfect balance, but each aspect can be pushed out of whack, which is the Dark Side, the Qlippoth, or Broken Shells.
For example, Severity and Justice (Geburah or Din) is balanced by Mildness and Mercy (Chesed or Gedulah), yet one can choose cruelty, injustice, hate, and suffering devoid of Mercy. That's the Qlippoth of Golohab or uncontrolled violence. Clearly the Sith.
The Force itself is always in balance, but it can be perverted. Lucas once called the Dark Side a Cancer on an otherwise healthy body. You cannot have balance with Cancer. Mutating cells must be destroyed. In fact, Cancer is just mutated cells that failed to self-destruct. Most are immediately destroyed by their own inner error-checking. Most potential Sith fail b/c of their inner ethics and morality. To make Darth Vader, Sheeve had to push Anakin past the point of breaking (Broken Shells) to become a manifestation of violence and hate, a scalpel of the Dark Side.
George had Anthropologist friends with whom he discussed his ideas. He based his original story on Campbell's _The Hero's Journey_ and loved Japanese Cinema and cultural anthropology.

Liam Neeson deserved better
He use to be, and very well respected still even though he got bumped off it. Qui Gon was a total think-for-your-selfer half the time and often got in trouble for taking matters into his own hands, without bringing things up to the council for deliberation first, or he’d still be on it.

is taking a Padawan learner so sacred, that even if the council says "you can't train him" and you say "I take him as a padawan", they have to let you do that?
I don't think it's to do with it being sacred; more that Qui-Gon is that stubborn and WILL do it regardless of what the Council. Its almost like in Fiddler on the Roof, he's not looking for their permission, only their blessing; his mind is made up.
Qui-Gon was known for disobeying the council. He went with the choice he felt the force guided him to make. They all knew once he said that, there would be no going back. Either they accept the chosen one or cast him out. They feared what would happen if they didn’t accept him. The other Jedi of the time were beyond lost.
It doesn't really matter anymore since Disney bought it and the dark side won.

Totally Random Observation: I always thought it was kinda cool that the 3 Jedi Council scenes progress from day to evening to night. Reminds me of F-Zero, where the Mute City tracks 1-3 progress through day, evening, and night. I’m not high, I swear.

Fun fact: Yaddle was completely CGI'd out of this movie. They did a two for one thing with the CGI overlapping. They got rid of all traces of the Puppet Yoda AND Yaddle. How utterly disrespectful.
I would’ve imagined this would’ve been the point of where dooku would’ve killed yaddle so it would’ve made sense to CGI out yaddle

Training Anakin as a Jedi was 100% the correct move. The alternative was letting a 9 year old slave boy with the most Force potential in the history of the galaxy float around unsupervised when you know the Sith still exist. Palpatine would've trained Anakin as a Sith, and Obi-wan would've had no shot on Mustafar.

Qui Gon was a Jedi Master and not on the Counsel, while Anakin was on the Counsel and not a Jedi Master.
Luckily under the wise directions of the new government leader Anakin became a most powerful Jedi, but his dangerous side never came out.
