And if my dumb video came off as such, I apologize. She suffered because of Pink Diamond. No amount of anyone else saying anything is trying to take that away from her. 6000 years in isolation is 6000 years in isolation. It's awful and terrible, and I'm glad that Spinel was able to find some help outside of the person that indirectly hurt her. Not saying it was Steven specifically, but being around him could create triggers. Look, I'm sorry if this comes off as minimizing Spinel's trauma. That was never the point. I’m so freaking sad about the end of SU. The show has gotten me through some rough times, because I have had a kidney transplant. This shows me I’m not the only one that cares so much about this show. I truly thank Steven Universe and will always and forever miss you.
The transformation with “everyone’s gone on without you” flows beautifully, it fits so well and was so emotional even though this was the climax of Steven song but not spinel you still made it work so well, and then the finaly news bit is a bit different it’s still kind of works for both of them it’s the part where they’re taken out of the dark they haven’t recovered but they finally see where they are but for Steven it’s more for his family than him, this was a wonderful animatic and you did it with sticky notes I thought for all this time I couldn’t do animation but now I think I could try thank you for this wonderful content and your inspiration.
Gosh thank you so much! I honestly love that part a lot in Drift Away both as Spinel's original version in the movie and doing my own thing here. It's such a heart breaking line and it hit pretty close to home in some ways for me, so that's sort of why I wanted that to stand out just a bit more. But I'm so glad! Animation is difficult, but it can be approached in so many ways whether with 3D or 2D, and digital or traditional! But I'm so very glad that this is hopefully gonna inspire you to make something yourself! That is most of my goal with making content so this means a lot to me, so thank you!
I've watched the whole episode of Steven Universe Future but... I feel so sorry for Steven, he helped his friends get over with traumas or bad experiences yet no one was there for him, he prioritize his friends and family first instead of himself. He had to handle everything that had happened to him, he was left alone without anyone helping him recover from trauma. Tbh, Steven needs more hugsies
i probably dont need to go into a full explanation why this was so good, you will get it all the time, from the story lining up flawlessly to the songs lyrics to the persuasive work of creativity through your drawings, that i simply can not begin to imagine the thought process behind it all. but i wont be doing that, only needing to say greatjob

Ahhh thank you! SU's style heavily influenced my main style and while that style is hopefully different enough to not be confused for SU, I did really wanna go for the SU style for these animatics 'cause sometimes it makes it easier for people to imagine it in the show. ^^
