In general, East Africa, Central Africa and Southern Africa are more developed countries due to infrastructure, security, amenities, etc.

I live 🇨🇦,Living far from home in Africa is profoundly disheartening. Troy’s observations are accurate-navigating life as a Black individual presents considerable challenges. The system never favours us. Even with substantial financial success, it often feels like you can never fully escape these difficulties (black stereotypes )or truly enjoy a sense of ease and fulfillment.
I witnessed just that, and it all happened in a bus! They timed for the bus to stop, and doors opened and suddenly these two young men snatched a phone and immediately jumped out leaving their victim startled. The worst part is the unprovoked knife attacks.
It's getting worse, police funding was reduced, which is why you also find car stolen on the rise in the UK. But don't fool yourself. When in kenya, you have to take care of your phone - snatching happens when in the car or pickpocketed. Crime is everywhere, but it depends where you located.
I am an African Australian...and have lived in Nairobi for over 10yrs..for sure Kenya is super friendly ...except some corrupt practices...but the new generation is fixing this..
