It does matter. Kenya is that place you will never feel like a foreigner but a brother or sister. Kenyans are generally kind to each other and extend that kindness to foreigners unlike some places that treat foreigners with disdain or suspicion. For instance Kenyans do have an abundance mentality and will not feel threatened if a foreigner wants to start a business in their country. Cannot say the same about the other countries. But to each their own. Tribalism is also dead in Kenya so it will only get better. People just love each other. It's a wonderful experience.

Every country is nice if you have an elite passport (US, UK, EU, Japan, etc). The key to living in a nice place is knowing you can leave at anytime you feel it’s becoming not nice.
Passport ain’t everything you gotta have the money and be able to afford the cost of living. Cost of living is higher in western countries and the excessive bills car insurance/Road tax is mandatory and service charges so unless you have lived in western countries it’s not just about the passport.

Put in incredible landscaping- fruit trees 🌳. Then build you an amazing RUclips digital studio. You’re not gonna find a better place on this planet.
Welcome to Kenya always. We are a friendly hard-working people. I'm Kenyan and I still get amazed how I can just start a conversation with a complete stranger every single day in the bus or matatu and talk about anything. Politics, sports, family, anything. And alight and go about my life. The only point I want to make is that the food the vibe and the nice places are only affordable with your money that you made in the US. The conversion rate can make rent look cheap like 850 dollars and really nice food look like 20 dollars. For normal Kenyans average income for professionals could be 500 to 800 dollars a month so housing would be maybe 200 or 300 dollars a month in still nice places. Middle class earn like 150 dollars to 300 dollars a month so we will live in 70 dollars housing and eat out in places like pizza inn or chicken inn average 20 dollars for a meal? So if you move to Kenya you need to understand the income you can make to afford the cool lifestyle. So it's cheap to live here on money you made in US in dollars. Or if you are in the professional bracket of pilot, doctors, high end business people, lawyers , UN or expat people If you can move here and be an expat then for sure it will be cheap. In a nutshell your income source determines what lifestyle you will have. Or the conversion of dollars earned in US and spent in Africa. But for sure with networking with Austin he would give you the network to meet expats in various fields of work for your profession and link you with the expat network to get a good job.
Among the numerous African countries I have visited or explored, Kenya stands out as one of the most favorable options for those considering residence on the continent. The process of adaptation is relatively straightforward, and the primary local language, Swahili, is accessible for learners alongside English. Provided that you possess a stable source of income and earn sufficient funds, you will be able to afford essential necessities, including dependable internet access and numerous locations to discover.
Welcome to Kenya everyone from around the world., we do really have a beautiful country, and everyone who wants to relocate permanently or temporary, Kenyans welcome you to the city under the sun.
I've been to 4 cities in Kenya, lovely country, lovely people. For a black American. Easy to say move there if you have a youtube channel financing your stay. No shade, respect the hustle. It's a nonstarter for 90 percent of black Americans. Either a remote job, open a local business that will make enough money to sustain yourself and good luck with that. You won't be able to find many local jobs that will sustain yourself. Also, its generally much better for a man than a woman where she won't find many men who can meet her on her level. Mombasa, on the coast is not a bad option if beaches and warm weather is your number one criteria. Nairobi gets cold enough that you need a sweater, warm jacket from late May to August.
Austin you also need to visit South Africa, Mozambique and Angola. But over all Kenya is probably one of the best spots for Black Americans to settle....

Passport ain’t everything you gotta have the money and be able to afford the cost of living. Cost of living is higher in western countries and the excessive bills car insurance/Road tax is mandatory and service charges so unless you have lived in western countries it’s not just about the passport.

According to legend, Mwana Mkisi is the original ancestor of Mombasa's oldest lineages within Thenashara Taifa (or Twelve Nations). Families associated with the Twelve Nations are still considered the original inhabitants of the city. Samson (Fumo Liyongo) was also a legend who was killed by the Philistines in Faza- renamed Gaza in modern Israel). Kikuyu (Judah/Benjamin/Levi), just to mention a few. They have also taken names of places in Kenya and used them in the imitation Jerusalem and Israel in the Middle East. Nazareth comes from bantu word Nyanza (meaning lake) and Reth ( meaning King). The people are known in the bible as Nazarenes. Jesus was a Nazarene but is wrongly addressed as Jesus of Nazareth instead of Jesus the Nazareth.(King from Nyanza). All places associated with Jesus are located in Kenya even his tomb. The area where Jerusalem stood is a designated UNESCO world heritage site. Other places include Kericho (Jericho) which was the provincial outpost of king Eglon. Mt Elgon on the border of Kenya and Uganda is named after him (and where Moses climbed to Pisgah (Wagagai) to get a view of Caanan /Kenya). Eglon was killed by Ehud a left handed man. Archaeological evidence of the Elementaita area has proven the Ehud story. There's Gilgil (Gilgal) which is a military barracks to date. It's also where Joshua circumcised the Israelites after crossing the Jordan (River Nzoia initially Yoya which is still a roaring river impassable during flooding and it's surrounding plains heavily forested and a paper milling area). Archaeological evidence proves the circumcision story. There's Mt. Maragoli (mount of olives) which still has the necropolis (mungoma caves), where important people were buried on its border( they can't really find the necropolis in modern Israel. They don't think important people could have been buried where they identified it). There's potter's field, Eldama ravine (renamed Akeldama in modern Israel) where the spirit of death still hovers, there's Samaria (initially Shomrom) from bantu word shmromko meaning "steep and hilly. It's where Sanballat built a temple on the highest hill for Israelites in the northern kingdom. 🙂The place is today known as Sambalat and the temple replaced by a church known as the church in the sky - Wewo. There's the Rift Valley (valley of Jehoshaphat/Kidron valley) at the end of which is Ongata-Rongai (renamed en-Rogel in modern Israel) to the south. Then there's Dar and Faza coastal cities (renamed Dor and Gaza in modern Israel). Ancient Israelite towns extended into northern Tanzania and eastern Uganda. 🙂These are just but a few of all the locations that have been renamed in Israel when it was created in 1948. The temple in Middle East Jerusalem was destroyed in 73CE. The real Jerusalem and temple were destroyed in 70CE. The Middle East Jerusalem was an imitation of the real Jerusalem in Kenya and built in what was then the Heliopolis of Egypt. Some Levites from real Jerusalem were taken to minister there. Israelites who moved to Egypt and other converts worshipped in this temple. It was built like a fort and later used by Romans. This is why a wall still stands to date. The real Jerusalem was completely destroyed and is still a haunt for jackals and trodden of by gentiles as it's been designated a UNESCO world heritage site (Aberdares Range). Some Israelites from the middle East Jerusalem were later taken to the Carribbean. This is possibly why the Lemba and Igbo claim Middle East heritage because they moved to Africa from there. They may have been real or converted Hebrews. The East African and other Bantu culture is Hebrew culture. Some like the Sabaot (tribe of Reuben) are today known as Kalenjin (Nilotes) because of their assimilation with caananite tribes that were never completely destroyed. This is why they considered Kenya for Jewish settlement in 1903 but the ones to be resettled weren't black. 😑It would have been scandalous.

There's definitely nowhere in the world where people of African descent will truly or 100% feel at home or attain a true feeling of belonging other than in BLACK LAND or AFRICA, and this is why after 2.5 decades, I returned to Africa for good. It's been 4 years now since I've been back home, and you can't possibly pay me enough to ever return to the US.
if a war break out right now in all of africa would you die there
@@TheCoolgame24
We have no reasons for war mongering here in Africa. All the previous and current wars of the entire world were and are artificially engineered by Western Imperialists governments. The US and the EU to be exact.
Namely; Sudan, Libya, Iraq, Ukraine, Vietnam, Yugoslavia, DRC, Haiti, WW1, WW2, Rwanda, Liberia, the Korean War and the lists goes on. Imagine how peaceful Africa and the rest of the world would have been without these evil and imperialists governments
@@XY-rh3if africa has no big movies or tv shows or tech places where is all the good video games coming out o africa

Africa has no movies? Have you had of Nollywood? Go look it up and come back and tell us how many movies a year it produces more than Hollywood.

This was VERY informative. I will be booking a consultation for an initial visit to Nairobi shortly.
Kenya has come from far to be where it is now. People are more aware of where we want our country to be and are working very hard to better ourselves and our country. We are glad you chose to live in Kenya.
Auston I just like the fact you are doing something different, there's a good chance i may even move there, stay strong you brother you doing good.
Austin we love you , you are very honest with your feelings, Kenya is good for you. Karibu tena meaning welcome back, Kenyans will love your unique contributions I can’t wait to see your business thrive💕💕
Make it your base of operations then travel from there.
Get you a nice plot of land in an upscale neighborhood. Gradually build a “badass” home powered by solar. Put in incredible landscaping- fruit trees 🌳. Then build you an amazing RUclips digital studio.
You’re not gonna find a better place on this planet.
Nop, there best places in the world. But Kenya is friendly to any person n they don't DISCRIMINATE people.
@@mohamedsuwari2588 What part of what @CanaryKin said warrants a nop🤔🤔🤔🤔
I live his guts! Exploring is not easy but he’s a very intelligent dude , his videos are informative & objectives. I admire you bro! FR
Thank you!
Or if you are in the professional bracket of pilot, doctors, high end business people, lawyers , UN or expat people
If you can move here and be an expat then for sure it will be cheap.
I'm kemyan and I can tell you its the best country to live for you black folks in USA trust me
Feels like a man who knows what he doesn't want and goes for what he wants! Welcome to magical Kenya 🇰🇪
I love your objective analysis
Auston congrats on your move to Kenya! As a international traveler too I won’t be traveling to Africa but I’ve enjoyed watching your adventures.
Right on brother Auston KENYA has welcomed you enjoy.
Wise comment. Furthermore there is no visa to move there easily. Auston will probably need to get out the country at some point
Only the chosen will move there.
WELCOME BACK TO THE CONTINENT! 💪🏾 now let's get to work!!
Austin you also need to visit South Africa, Mozambique and Angola. But over all Kenya is probably one of the best spots for Black Americans to settle....
South Africa, Mozambique & Angola may be more similar to Brazil
why the people there not happy there made their own movie and tv shows and video games everyone likes all around the world i never seen any kenya movie that made 1 billion or video game from there or tv show everyone talks about if the place is so great where is the big tech places there
@@TheCoolgame24 We are the people living here in Kenya. Who told you we are not happy. Have you been to Kenya or just yapping round ignorance.
@@nairobinyeusi5811 nobody talking about Kenya people just saying it's not good for every black man and it's not the best place if you use to high tech and video games and movies and TV shows
@@TheCoolgame24 We have our own local TV shows & featured in major international movie series like Money heist. In fact one of the characters in money heist was named Nairobi after our city. We also have major tech companies in Nairobi such as Google, Safaricom, Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, Jumia, HP, Oracle...etc. operating in Nairobi. Kenya also has the most Startups in Africa nicknamed the silicon savannah of Africa. It has more start-ups than some American states. So matters technology should be the least of your worries in Nairobi.
Warms my heart to hear such good reviews about my country ❤. Karibu
Nice video Auston. I’m glad you’re finally setting up shot in Kenya. I would ask: what’s next for you and the evolution of your channel and what does that look like.
Great clip and representation of our Kenyan Nation especially from the lens of some of us in the Diaspora that live Globally with boots & heritage in Kenya! ✊🏾🇰🇪🇺🇸

Civilized Black People? So some people are uncivilized because they don’t have modern amenities! You have a lot to learn.
I can tell you've never travelled to Africa.
