It’s funny because the way you explained Maximus, it made it seem like he was the most nuanced and complex character in the show. I just think he was over shadowed by Goggins followed up by Purnell. I thought he did well. The OTHER squire was hilarious.
As time has passed I've liked the show less and less; especially when my initial excitement, after finishing the season, drove me to re-play New Vegas. I had forgotten a lot that happened in the game which makes the show fall short in reflection. The only reason for me to look forward to the second season is the Ghoul and the location tease at the end.
Great breakdown Mike! I’m definitely not planning on watching this. I lost interest in Fallout around Fallout 4. Oh well, glad there are those whom enjoy the show.
Do you think/feel that the three protagonists are at different points of a good/evil/neutral morality spectrum? Lucy = Good Maximus = Neutral Goggins = Evil Albeit all of them are "player" protagonists. Heroes of their own stories.
It's a 5/10. Visually it's spot on, even if limited in scope and scale at times. But the writing omg it's so bad. It's hard for me to like most of the characters. I loath Maximus and the BoS. I despise Moldaver and the NCR. Both are really poorly written.
A VIDEO?!
a bad video
