But basically, it can be inferred the Boston Bugle was monitored by the Enclave or even Vault-Tec, both of whom were working close together at that time, realized they were about to be exposed to the world and launched a rogue, American nuke at China, forcing the Communists to respond, then forcing the rest of the American military to re-retaliate against China, thus ending the world. Some believe it was Vault-Tec (specifically, Braun) who launched the secret nuke themselves so they could initiate their sick experiments in the Vaults, but it was launched early, the reason why many Vaults were unfinished, for example Vault 88, by the war's start, and why the Vaults got an "Early Warning" ahead of the launch. Wait I just realised the entire enclave navy still exists. The chosen one only destroyed the oil rig. Then again they might not be able to do anything because they have no oil Edit: I should say it *might exist, the ships could have been moved around, to China for the invasion, for example, between 2076 (when we were told the ships were at the oil rig) and 2077
I imagine if the enclave makes a return this will be their final force. All that is left, and I always theorized they'd show up with their fleet. I mean it makes sense from a gameplay standpoint. @Synonymous I think you've finally pieced it all together man. Babe wake up, Synonymous posted a new Lore video.
I’m like 2-3 videos deep and already love your content. Good shit brother
I fell asleep watching your videos on the couch 2 hours ago and woke up to a new upload, literally making you, the RUclipsr of my dreams.
pretty gay
Great video! I love the longer ones. 💜
Another fantastic video, mate. Loved it. Bethesda should be sending $$$ for this. You elevate this universe to another level, mate. Thank you!
Enjoyed this. Great story telling man!
Hey a new video and it's on the Shadow Government of the Wasteland. Happy you did this my friend
Wait I just realised the entire enclave navy still exists. The chosen one only destroyed the oil rig. Then again they might not be able to do anything because they have no oil
Edit: I should say it *might exist, the ships could have been moved around, to China for the invasion, for example, between 2076 (when we were told the ships were at the oil rig) and 2077
I imagine if the enclave makes a return this will be their final force. All that is left, and I always theorized they'd show up with their fleet. I mean it makes sense from a gameplay standpoint. Bethesda keeps introducing bigger and badder tech. Liberty prime (fallout 3) the Prydwin (Fallout 4) and Beth knows the fans want to see more of the enclave. So it's very probable.
If all the cars are nuclear powered, you would think the ships would be the same.
@@sherlockbonez They most likely were converted to that after the war if the Enclave are smart atleast writen smartly but given Bethesda.. Only best bet we have is the America Rising team for Fallout 4.
I mean rivet city was a battleship that presumably was in service up until the war so its highly unlikely the enclave had control of the entire U.S navy or at least had the entire force in 1 location as that makes it to easy a target.
@@sherlockbonez true ships are a lot easier to make nuclear powered than a tiny little car I would think
I always put the modified FEV into the water supply.

Great video as usual! I hope you do a video on the Children of Atom since they were mentioned here. The Grand Zealot is a pretty interesting character imo, it's pretty wild to go from serving in the Enclave to becoming a high ranking member of a radiation cult lol
Fantastic job sir. Love the content.
very nice. I wish you and Nerbit did a collab " can you beat fallout...." video.
I love your videos man, great for chilling on bed after a long day. 🖤
Haven't even watched the video yet but already liking it. Already know this is gonna be an amazing interesting video!
Love your lore videos!! Keep it up man!
Love how every game is connected might download the older games because of your video
Fallout new vages
@@notkillian1283 That’s not one of the older games
Nice overview! Brings back so many fond memories of playing this game as a kid.
Slept on channel. This is a very thorough rundown of the Enclave. I was looking for this sort of video without having to read a huge wiki page haha. Great video 😊
Synonymous is synonymyous with good content
If they* found pre war citizens like the ones on tranquility lane or the icicles of vault 111 would they be considered American?
I believe so
Tranquility lanes inhabitants were basically dead slowly decaying bodies their minds were just trapped in the simulation
It'd stand to reason they would. They wouldn't have mutations and be cleaner than most people who lived out the wasteland and they existed Pre-War as Americans so I don't see it changing unless they end up being Anti-Enclave which if they were angry at the government or how things were run pre-war they probably might.
@Roberto The Super Mutant *mutated humanoid life.
Those inside vaults have no more mutations than those who founded The Enclave, I don't see a problem here.
@@Synonymous101 This isn’t totally relevant, but technically, the Soul Survivor, Shaun, Jack and Emogene Cabot, Edward Deegan, Kent Connelly, and the Vault Tec Rep, as well as everyone born before the bombs whose survived this long are all American Citizens, and American Citizenship is lifelong. (I’ve only played FO4, so I assume there are probably a lot more Ghouls who have lived that long).
Loved the video keep up the awesome work!
Was Busy but couldn’t resist!
Eyebots and sentry bots were part of the enclave since Fallout 2 and are even present in the Oil Rig. Kind neat that Bethesda noted those bots. The concept art for Fallout 3 also shows cut concept that shows they planned to include all the monsters from Fallout 2 at one point.
YES another long format lore video, these are my favorites, Synonymous my friend you are up there with Wendigoon
Great job on the video man.
God bless the Enclave!
Im so glad I found your channel now I played FNV while I listen to the videos! Appreciate you making these cheers!!
lets go ive been waiting on this for forever, thank you so much for making this amazing video
Was about to cook some dinner… then I saw Synonymous uploaded a new fallout lore video… I’m sure you can figure out what took priority
@Chase Oliver while this is the correct move for the situation, it is not the route I chose lol
This channel and another I’ve recently been watching make me wanna play 3 and New Vegas again.
Awesome video essay as usual.
Showing how amazing you are, once again.
You seriously deserve more subs. Your videos are wonderful. But, I maybe bias 😝
Thank you for all your hard work you've put you into this video for us 💜
You're too kind!
@@Synonymous101 only speaking the truth Synon. ☺️
I actually really love the Enclave as a faction. So glad that in FO76 you finally got to join them and help them out. Sometimes its fun to play as the bad guys.
I wish there was a fallout game set during fallout 2 where you’re born into the enclave and get to make the decision to stay with them or leave them (which would result in them hunting you down for the rest of the game)
you can join them in 76??
@@percizeshwty6485gotta go to a cave out in the marsh lands and you get a password to the bunker after that you get access and can launch nukes 🔥

I like to think Autumn and his remaining forces relocated to Chicago while operating bases like the crawler where research was undergoing. Autumn's ideas are far better than Maxon's BoS or the institute.
Been waiting for this one. Great work!!
Amazing video! Had my attention the whole time and even learned some new things!
Really hope the Enclave show up again and you can join them
Maybe fallout 5 the next location should be New York City or Texas or somewhere in the middle of the United like Oklahoma or North Dakota heck maybe Canada since in fallout lore America took over Canada and made it a part of America whether they like it or not!
@@noahdean9685 im from Oklahoma and i must say a whole game baised off of oklahoma wouldnt be very cool but a red river game with oklahoma and texas would be amazing
@@noahdean9685 fallout 5 should be in Alaska
@karimhachem7517 maybe in southern states, like Florida or Texas. Or maybe in Canada. Alaska would probably be a little more difficult to portray, as it's the big battleground that sparked the great war (operation Anchorage doesn't count)
Hey man, as someone who has been a fan of this series for 26 years, you knocked this out of the park. Well done.
Never forget the service and sacrifice of Peter Richardson. Honorable mentions to Conrad, Vulpe and Jackal.
gotta say man this has to be my favorite video if yours! im trying to get rly into the fallout lore and i love the format and sheer ammount of research you do in them all!!❤
Glad to hear it! 😁👍
Glad I found this channel. My first Fallout game was 4 and I had NO clue who the Enclave was nor the BoS. I didn't know who to join, who to stay away from. Nothing. Now I just need to find a BoS video
Poor thing, you've missed so much...
Hopefully you went back and played the better games (essentially all of them except maybe BoS)
This is absolutely amazing my dude. I'm over here listening to it like it's a history podcast lolololll
Love your channel, very in depth
Wish there was a mainline fallout were you could truly join the enclave that doesnt involve mods.
That's my current dream Fallout game. I don't care where it's set, I want to be an Enclave noobie rather than a vault dweller.
This channel was recommended via Radking. I listened for 5 seconds and subscribed.
Fuggin NEATO! My man is Synonymous with 5-Star Fallout edu-tainment 👍
It's always a wonderful experience to watch these videos

Fantasticly put together, enjoyed from beginning to end.
Evil or not, that gear and color scheme is legit.
fr they remind me of germans back in ww2 with their snazzy uniforms.
I just finished season 1 of fallout on Amazon prime, and it makes sense now. In the first episode, the news broadcast says “the president’s whereabouts are currently unknown.” Meaning, the president was in hiding, and in Control Station Enclave.
the enclave from fallout 2 is my favorite faction in all of fallout
i absolutely adore how radical most of the groups are, it makes complete sense considering what happened before and after the nukes.
Good!
A new video on the lore!
Just found your channel very relaxing to listen to while i fall asleep haha
Awesome video on an awesome faction! Well worth the wait!
You make absolutely OUTSTANDING lore videos. You are like a fallout version of Vati (guy that makes the best FromSoftware games lore videos)
High praises, indeed! 😁👍
@@Synonymous101 its true!
The Vault Dweller by attacking the Enclave was a REAL Insurrectionist.
Actually, the enclave worked against the interests of the US, just like the jan6 insurrectionists
@Synonymous I think you've finally pieced it all together man. The fact that the Enclave keeps ending up on the same train of thought might be because of that eldrich God that's been mentioned sporadically in FO3 and 4. The one you made a video on, I was always torn on whether the aliens pushed the trigger or we did but with the introduction of supernatural pressures the latter seems much more likely. Ever since I watched your video I don't look at ghouls the same way anymore lol keep up the great work
Hey which video is that? I never heard if an elder god in fallout
@@miguelgonsalves6161 Fallout lore to do with Dunwhich, supernatural links etc. Relates to Obadiah Blackhall from F.3, Point Lookout . Asks you to retrieve Krivbeknih book, has supernatural powers, like book from original Evil Dead . All ties in with Dunwhich building from F.3, and Dunwhich Borers in F.4. Which if you swim down to end of a well ,you can retrieve a sacrificial sword from an altar. The eye , that is visible from a giant statue at bottom of same well, is from the buried statue of an elder God, the sword on the altar at bottom of same well in centre of Dunwhich Borers . The same sword that was used to make human sacrifices for the elder God hundreds of years pre war, etc.
