excellent info! For family vacations, I recommend making a meal plan of favorite foods ahead of time, and pack accordingly. Easy quick favorites, so you know exactly what you will need to bring, buy, etc.
Thank you for sharing your good tips! I have only brought a few things with me during travel (paper towels, foil, knife, zipp bags & dish soap). You have inspired me to make a more efficient kitchen bag/kit.
Ever since our society has reopened post covid I noticed many offices have removed any shared utensils in the kitchen so I'll have to put together a mini kit like this.
For some reason Corelle often winds up in second hand shops or put at the curb after a house cleanout. Idk if people think it's cheap looking or some sort of plastic they're unfamiliar with or what. I myself like it a lot....it's durable and great for everyday use. Takes some force to break it too.
It is virtually indestructible, that is why I like it for travel, because I hate eating off paper plates or cheap plastic. Especially, I want my coffee in a glass cup.
@@RockyCreekValleyFarm .... certain beverages in synthetic materials take on a slight but still noticeable plastic taste. So, yes I'm with you about coffee in a proper cup, metal cutlery, and real dishes. 👍👍

Thank you for the support.

What’s a honey bear?
In the Midwest one of our brands of honey comes in a little plastic bear shaped jar. Looks a lot like Winnie-the-Pooh cartoon character.
