A Link Between Worlds and Ocarina of Time should have been there. 3DS Overrated by this: HOW many f--king Mario games are there? At Walmart and Best Buy, I saw 16 of them. I am glad to play Animal Crossing: A New Leaf, Shovel Knight, Hey Pikmin and DK Country Returns. Yes I feel Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is still a Mario game. Cause he spawned from the same story!
I was extremely paranoid during this list. Is this list only based on games you own? Cause a game that is completely underated and probably half of 3DS owners don't know about is, Kid Icarus Uprising.
I wasn't a Monster Hunter person until forced myself to try out MH4U. If you don't want to start off the entire series from the beginning title (which is really unnecessary for this series), this one is a great one to start with. It even gives you the option to tell the game whether you're new to the series or not so it can adjust to your level for you. Plus, it's cheaper than the newer one, at 30 bucks, possibly even less used or on ebay. I got super addicted to it, and gathering items out in the world and combining is almost as fun as hunting. Story is like a bonus. ALSO, it has free DLC missions and other stuff, so extra bonus!
I think Fates improved the aesthetic. Zooming in to battles and seeing how they took place in the area you were in felt almost cinematic to me in a way. Also, while this honestly is extremely minor. It's nice to see that the characters have actual feet XD. I still like Awakening a lot, but i feel Fates made a lot of improvements. If I were to say to say one thing Awakening does better, it would have to be it's simplicity. I do like Fates more complex plot with Corrin's choices, but I'll admit that it sometimes felt convoluted and some characters were underutilized (Garon in Revelation). Awakening may have been simpler, but it was easier to follow and the characters were still equally likable with the right amount being utilized.

Super Street Fighter IV is really awesome but usually don't see it on any top lists. In my opinion the 3DS has the best version of that game due to being able to set 4 additional buttons on the touchscreen to do any special move, Super or Ultra combos. Wish people would realize how great this game really is! :-)

First recommendation video I see that doesn't have Animal Crossing. New Leaf is, after all, one of the games a lot of people get a 3DS for. But hey, we have to remember that that's his list. I'm missing more modern titles like Yo-Kai Watch, Fire Emblem Fates / IF, some J-RPG stuff like Shin Megami Tensei or Etrian and small treasures like Castlevania or Phoenix Wright.
Have you tried Shin Megami Tensei 4? it's a fantastic and slightly mature turn based JRPG with a pretty high difficulty and amazing party customization
I'm wondering if you played Bravely Default all the way through, because the content shown was only available from the demo. That dungeon was never in the main game., well, it was available, just not in the same form.
Pokemon and zenoblade are the best value for money. Not only are they entertaining full of rich details and contents, you can literally play them hundreds of hours of you so choose to. Both has big emersive world you can travel through and awesome stories and solid gameplay
That's just a remastering, not an original 3ds game. May as well just get A Link Between Worlds instead of playing the some thing most of us have played on N64 and GC.

The constant stopping in Mario 3D Land, and the lack of drifting in Mario Kart 7 bugged me to no end... Heh, different playstyles for different people I guess.

I honestly hate when I come across people who say shit like this. Yes, the 3DS displays in 240p..... but it also has a 3.54 inch screen if you have the original. A resolution that low on a screen that small looks almost HD. Granted, the 240p could have been upscaled to something like 480 to accommodate for the XL, but it still looks really good. That would be like complaining that your phone screen doesn't go above 720p..... it doesn't go above because it doesn't need to. There would be absolutely zero benefit; in fact, it would overexert your phone to the point the battery life is garbage. All because you had to have a 4k display on your eight inch screen. There's a point where higher, better graphics can be argued, and this isn't one.
In game music really clashes with the background music, which is a bit distracting. Commentary is pretty good, though. Though, the tone is pretty...robotic.
I only have Mario Kart 7, Super Smash Bros and Pokemon ORAS :( (I used to have Super Mario 3D Land, it was pre-installed on my 3DS XL when I first got it, but I got my Wii U, forgot my password for my old Nintendo ID, and made a new one)

Pokemon and zenoblade are the best value for money. Not only are they entertaining full of rich details and contents, you can literally play them hundreds of hours of you so choose to. Both has big emersive world you can travel through and awesome stories and solid gameplay

Ocarina of Time has a way better Story (one of the Best in Gaming History) More Dungeons Better Dungeons Better Bosses a way better Villain Better Time travel 7 years VS 3 Days and Infinite Replay Value I could Beat it over and over and never get Sick of it I don't think I'll ever want to play Majora's Mask again and I have no Desire to get the 3DS Remake Nintendo Ruined All the Boss Fights with that stupid Eyeball Weakness The Boss Fight with the Giant Mechanical Goat was one of the Best Boss Fights in the whole Zelda Series and Now it's not even any fun with that stupid Eyeball Weakness and Oh yeah as Much Hate the Ocarina of Time Water Temple Gets I'll Take it any day over Annoying Boring Long Turtle Rock

I honestly hate when I come across people who say shit like this. Yes, the 3DS displays in 240p..... but it also has a 3.54 inch screen if you have the original. A resolution that low on a screen that small looks almost HD. Granted, the 240p could have been upscaled to something like 480 to accommodate for the XL, but it still looks really good. That would be like complaining that your phone screen doesn't go above 720p..... it doesn't go above because it doesn't need to. There would be absolutely zero benefit; in fact, it would overexert your phone to the point the battery life is garbage. All because you had to have a 4k display on your eight inch screen. There's a point where higher, better graphics can be argued, and this isn't one.
In game music really clashes with the background music, which is a bit distracting. Commentary is pretty good, though. Though, the tone is pretty...robotic.
The game that I would've put at #1 would be animal crossing new leaf due to the amount of hours I embarrassingly sunk into..
I love Animal Crossing as well, a great game to kill time.
I only have Mario Kart 7, Super Smash Bros and Pokemon ORAS :( (I used to have Super Mario 3D Land, it was pre-installed on my 3DS XL when I first got it, but I got my Wii U, forgot my password for my old Nintendo ID, and made a new one)
