The "Academy" should have had him removed from the premises. Watching him create a scene when law enforcement told him to leave would have been the 2nd highlight of the evening.

What is worse is that in a pause after the incident Denzel Washington and others went to see Will and pander to him (I don't remember the stupid shit Denzel said, something about looking after the family I think) yet I didn't see that anybody went to see how Chris was (perhaps somebody did it, I don't know). The last season and two 1 hour specials have been reminiscent of the older South Park in quality. Still not as good, but fairly worth watching.

We need to bring down the wages of the celebs in Hollywood. They are too entitled and coddled. The rest of society they don't care about. The ask us to fund things like the disaster in Hawaii but the celebs have all the money to do it, not the normal person living check to check.
I don’t think so, not all of them are like this. We shouldn’t force people to give their money away and they make way more money than we do because the films they’re in produces lots of money just like how sports players get paid. Anyway what I think we really need to do is look at our government and our politicians and see how they waste our tax dollars and then ask for more money to waste it on more things. For example our tax dollars are going to Ukraine and Israel causing a lot of the problems that we have right now. When instead we could have used that money to help our country with its problems including Lahaina’s problems.

I cringe everytime I hear Smith's voice screaming his second whine, the first was bad enough, I did not need to hear him twice. He really made a fool out of himself for someone who constantly makes a fool of him. Very sad and pathetic for everyone involved.

It took me one minute to figure out this was a cartoon. It looked life like.
The slap gets all the attention but the "keep my wife's name" screaming afterwards was far more embarrassing imo
The silence after that slap, Chris not knowing exactly how to proceed, nothing coming to the aggressor, smith, hard to accept that security just let it go.
I never knew how insecure Will Smith was until that moment. His wife was completely fine with it.

Will was caught laughing at the joke but if you watch jada in the background she has a look on her face that says everything but what you said. Camera cut back to Chris and then will approaching so somewhere between will laughing/ and him approaching will saw her face and that’s when it turned for him they’re both shit people with huge ass egos

@@georgemorgan6119 No one stood up for Chris. No one. Not just security but no celebrities, the people who run the academy or anyone else that was there. The academy should ban themselves for not only securities failure but theirs as well.
Like alot of people, I'm a Will Smith fan.. so this whole situation was incredibly disappointing and sad. I was also a Chris Rock fan but on the bright side, I'm now a HUGE Rock fan. Chris handled this unforgivable moment with so much class.

That horribly staged pro-wrestling act was pretty bad, but I have it as #1 in the acting career of Will Smith. He is absolutely horrible. And his rapping.......... Rock's work on CB4 is better than any of Will's rap, and CB4 is a parody that makes fun of rappers. I would say this was a disgrace for Will, but it marks an improvement in his acting.

But no excuses. He made his bed out of anger and frustration.. now lie in it. So I was very disappointed in seeing Will act that way. But of course, always was a Chris Rock fan.. not just his comedy, the movie Spiral proved he's a damn good actor in a serious horror type of movie... so now I'm an even bigger fan of Chris Rock, the person. But yes, I liked most of Will Smith's movies... his rap.. lol, not at all.
This sums up my feelings exactly. Huge Will Smith fan, always have been (I'm from Philly so I knew of him way back when his rap albums were huge hits, before Bel Air, he & Jazzy Jeff were local folk heroes, so to speak) and he's always had the reputation of being super nice & kind...I liked Jada, but never really knew much about her before or since the Matrix Sequels...and always been a huge Chris Rock fan way back to Everybody Hates Chris & before. So this was a confluence of strange feelings for me when I saw it. I couldn't and still can't believe it. Now I feel sympathy for Will knowing a bit more about Jada (much like Amber Heard & Johnny Depp - Team Johnny BTW). Will is a beaten man (psychologically obviously - maybe even physically, who knows...?) but the way Chris handled it, live, on stage, at the OSCARS (!), in front of ALL of his peers, and televised to the world...he's a class act.
Chris will be fine. Hopefully Will will get out of that marriage of convenience (convenient to Jada, not Will). And hopefully Jada will fade into historical oblivion for having destroyed Will Smith's record of Mr. Nice Guy.
