They work 100 hours a week with a strict deadline to get the shows made. It's a difficult job both from a skill point of view and because of the long stressful hours. Recording the voices is only a small part of what they do. If you're saying nonsense like being a chef is more difficult you should watch '6 days to air' which is a documentary about making South Park. It's absolutely grueling, much more so than most animated shows and much more than being a fucking chef.
