Liyue : feels like a kung-fu movie.

I love how the music in each region fits each of their themes. Mondstatd is more low key because of it’s beginner feel. Liyue sounds more grand and vast to match the size of the place. Inazuma sounds more deadly and personal like a duel between Samurai. Dragonspines themes are more bleak and majestic to fit the mood of being hopeless and lost on a snowy mountain

“His Resolution” is the classic, yet simple battle theme from Mondstadt
Upon arriving in Liyue, we receive a variation on this theme in the grandiose and awe inspiring “Chasing the Torrents”.
Now we received a new variation in Inazuma Battle Theme 1 (title to be released). This new take adds a hostile element, as if there is a constant evil lurking behind the very environment itself.
If you listen closely, you can hear the same staccato motif throughout all of them, and each perfectly encapsulate their specific region.
Well played Mr. Yu-Peng Chen. Well played.

I have a feeling that in the "Final" boss of genshin or whatever is on the end. A culmination of all the music themes will be played and im hoping it will be dynamic related to whats on screen or whats happening. they just blend so perfectly.

It's incredible how the music reflects so much of their respective nations and the overall difficulty.
Monstadt the nation of Freedom, the music is easy and calm aside from the issue with Dvalin, rare apparitions of the Abyss Order and the Treasure Hoarders ; it's a safe and pacific nation.
Liyue the nation of Contracts, the first and continuous apparitions of the Fatui, Azhdaha and his minions. However with the protection of the Adepti it is relatively safe.
Inazuma the nation of ''Eternity'', the new a tougher Samurai, Abyss monsters electro charged, more Fatui, wild plants that can literally bomb you with lightnings and highly electro charged areas where just walking in slowly drains your HP, along with the nation current state of social oppression and civil war.
also inazuma's hp scaling is much higher even on enemies we've seen in mond and liyue... so even the hilichurls are stronger

@@coletteakasecondderpnep1826 I guess so, Natlan is the nation of war, it is ruled by the Pyro Archon and is based on the Pre-Columbian America.
Outside there's Sumeru, the Nation of Wisdom and is based in Mesopotamic and Egyptian cultures.
Fontaine is the nation of Justice, it is supposed to be based on France.
And Snezhnaya which is based on Siberia and Rusia, if you consider that it's the Fatui's Headquarters. We'll be on enemy territory.
Only thing I hate about genshin is that the fights don’t last too long so you can’t listen to the songs all the way through

When I first heard 7:33 while fighting I absolutely loved it there was something just so captivating about this part that made me want to listen over and over again, Genshin and there songs never fail to amaze me.
I completely agree, I remember the first time I heard it I got goosebumps. Literal chills, it's so gorgeous. This soundtrack plays in the Inazuma talent domain, so I always enjoy it when farming talent books for Ayaka.
Theme 1 is like a mix between Monstandt, Liyue and Inazuma battle theme
Theme 5 is like they turn it into Cyber-Inazuma
It's HOT's battle theme after all :)

Monstadt is already in an era of peace, there is no need to make it extremely rough. Dvalin's situation was just a minor threat to Venti.
Dragonspine was serious, but calm because of the looming danger it had and Albedos research.

My personal favourite is theme 3 & 4 cuz they hit *REAL HARD* and I had it in my playlist to make sure it plays on loop forever

The first battle theme was from the 2.0 trailer and it’s honestly my favorite. I really love the third one as well. They’re honestly all amazing. Mihoyo did a fantastic job with this update!

It would be great if music teachers in high school gonna be using these soundtracks as an example to showcase what Japanese music can look like. Never knew shamisens can go very aggressive especially on 9:30 and 10:12.

yeah this theme is played throughout the region but with the instruments of its culture, in the mondstadt theme it calls Photon of Fluctation
Inazuma battle theme 3 by far one of MY favorite genshin osts along with liyue's battle theme

it's been years, i've listened to this hundreds, and perhaps (literally) thousands of times, and yet, it activates my neurons so hard.
Thinking back when I first played this game and had the default battle theme against hillichurls , I would’ve never thought we would have one like #3 on this

At first i was really underwhelmed when i first heard the tracks in game but now after putting on some earphones, that opinion has long changed.
I mean the fights end in like 10 seconds most of the time, of course you won't have much luck getting a full listen, especially when you're focused. Even the amazing Azhdaha battle theme isn't always on my mind when i fight him.
Same. I wasn't feeling the music because of how hostile the environment is, but listening to it outside of fighting the songs absolutely have grown on me since I can concentrate on hearing the parts better instead of fighting for my life
I guess I'm the only one here that fears two Kairagi at once, and tries to run away by pressing the map and teleporting to a place far away so I don't get to face those anime protaganists.
