Nice and informative review! Especially appreciate how you show the curve on the rod, important info for anyone thinking of buying one. I have the old 2 part version, but am considering getting this as a travel rod as well. Seen that they have a 7 foot version as well. 👍🏻
Outstanding review, you couldn't get any more thorough. Adding to your point that it is slightly too long for a small steam rod Mavllos make the assault in 1.5m and 1.68m for slightly less money than the delicacy and these too are brilliant for the money.
Thank you for the feedback, Christopher! It is appreciated! The Assault is next on my list to have a look at. Based on my experience with the Delicacy, I'm looking forward to it.
I clicked on this video expecting a normal review, but I was really impressed with the way you went about presenting it and reviewing it. when I saw the subcriber count I was blown away how underrated you are, I usually do not subcribe to people but you definitely deserve it!
Excellent video! Although I already own this rod, I appreciate the thought you put into it with the distance chart and the slow motion on the rod tips loading up. You wouldn’t believe how many people show distance testing different rods/reels without summarizing or screen charts to compare and study. Nice job!
I'm just getting into BFS and looking for my first rod. I target large mouth bass. Can this rod withstand pulling average size bass on the regular? I plan on throwing lure weights of 2-10 grams.
Definitely be fine on average-sized bass. It will comfortably handle fish up to 5 lbs, and I have no reservations recommending it for that. I will say that it is not your average medium-heavy bass rod, and you can't treat it as such. If you try and boat flip fish or high-stick it excessively, it could break. I have seen an angler break a Delicacy, but that was absolutely user error. Considering your weight range, I think a light rod might be better suited, and offer a bit more backbone. It'll do great for 0.8g-7g, but the 8-10g might be pushing it a bit.
Thanks! As the reel weight has a reasonable impact on how it balances, I didn't think to include this, but I'll throw a few reels on there for you and check. Will also include a balancing weight in reviews from now on. I think people might find that useful. Thanks for the question!
I think the solid tip would do a good job of it. The only aspect of the rod that wouldn't be ideal is it is only a 6' rod, so it's at least 1'2" shorter than most Ajing rod. If you don't need maximum distance, the Delicacy would definitely do the job.
Yes, you can. I would recommend the hollow carbon fibre tip for twitch baits as its stiffer and would impart more action to twitch baits. The Delicacy is rated for 0.6-8g.

Fantastic review Jano. Love the loading and deflection tests. Great summary. As you say it is a great rod for beginners but such fun for all

Great review, good details. You really said everything.
Have ordered one . Thanks
Fantastic review. I've been using one for about 6 months and it has caught many fish. It's crazy good
Love that Kayak colour btw. If I even get a pedal kayak I am going to try and get one in that colour :)
The grup at the ebd of the butt, just for those curious the Ryobi Ranmi version just have plain foam and not the metal end cap.
Great thorough review jano! Love the deflection section and the kayaking portion =). Cheers my friend!
I liked mine so much I bought a 2nd one. I also bought the spinning model to try.

For your lure casting distance test, what line did you use? Was it a 4lbs or 6lbs line?
@@Dave_Andre it was braid with a diameter of 0.12mm.
Great video! any idea on the balance of the rod?

great review. i wonder if i can do ajing with this.

@light tackling... Can you also fish twitch baits with this rod? How much gr. bait weight
