how do u like it, honest opinion vs Hue. looking at this it looks great and adds alot but the hue videos seem like they cast better types of shadows and lights. what do you think ? thanks
I think Hue does shadows in daytime better but I think night races with coloured lights is pretty close to Hue with Govee. My WRC video maybe shows colours better than this one? I’d say it depends on budget and whether the free Hue app is as good as the HDMI connect box which is one of the reasons Hue price is higher. Govee is pretty damn close but is without a doubt behind Hue, I might look for a Hue starter kit and try it with the free app and if it’s better move the Govee to my TV……
As in my other comment, no it doesn’t go completely dark, blacks go to a blue shade. Having said that I’m sitting in front of three screens which don’t go dark and in a cockpit you have the glare from the instruments so a cockpit is never completely dark anyway…..

They dont go dark tho.. or can you choose which area of the screen to be captured?
