It’s been a great pleasure watching you, Ryan, and others continuing to grow your flight sim skills over the last couple years. Looking forward to the upcoming World Flight event.
Its wild seeing you so involved with VATSIM, shall I say finally? It really is great to see the increased exposure you're giving VATSIM, especially since the massive strides it has made in the previous years.
Really cool. I'm a recently retired airline captain and fly on VATSIM and PilotEdge these days when using FS2020. I am considering becoming an Air Traffic Controller on VATSIM at some point. Good to see you are enjoying it!
This is interesting. It feels like a foreign language at times. But over time, it gets easier to understand. I respect everyone who does this in simulation, but especially IRL. It's not easy.
Congrats Jeff! I need to get into VATSIM once I get a computer upgrade. Think it would help me prepare for flight school here in the spring (hopefully). Also, love the trolling of Ryan. 😂
You know when I first started VATSIM in 2011, I've always wondered why this never became a thing for you (I rememebr you're old fly with me series back in the day). Can't believe that was more than 10 years ago, now flying at a major carrier.
True that! Guess I don't watch the VATSIM as much as I used to. I'm specifically recalling the one FSX video in the 757, thats just iconic somehow! and appreciate your kind words! @@jfavignano
I have been following you for a few years now. I am so happy you are the controller there, I will certainly be flying there knowing you are there now. I just started my journey becoming a controller on Vatsim. I will be at KZLC though.
Hi Jeff. It’s crazy that I just got the notification that you uploaded this video. Mainly because I have just been getting into VATSIM and controlling. This video is going to help me so much. 😊
I just started this week. I am at the Salt Lake ARTCC facility. I have done one sweatbox session so far at Bozeman airport. After one more training session I may be able to go live supervised. ☺️
I was NKS 323 and it was an awesome experience the whole night. been a fan since the LSPDFR days and I never stopped enjoying the content so keep up the awesome work
As someone with an accent that naturally pronounces 3 as 'tree', I appreciate the accuracy to the phonetic language on the radio, I literally automatically correct myself to a normal accent unconsciously when I'm on a radio.
I got my S1 just over a year ago, but I never pursued actual training cause of busy classes and I just enjoy the pilot side of simming more, but maybe some day I'll finish it off...
I just got my S1 in ZNY at the beginning of this month, happy to be on this journey alongside you! I'm also enjoying the journey as I go, not sure when I'll have the confidence to go for S2 lol
I had no doubt Jeff. Your tremendously talented and brilliant. I honestly can’t be more proud of you. I love you champ. Ps keep singing. You have a wonderful voice
Congrats Jeff! I'm getting my rating soon to control in Australia. Here in Australia, we go straight to S2 rating as the first rating you can get. Over here we also use a programe called VATSYS which is used for all controlling positions!
Hey man sorry I was at on the ball that day wasn't feeling the greatest but decided to give it a try and then on top of that my sim being wonky and thanks for being so chill and appreciative from swa1855
I passed my vatsim test for pilots, but haven’t connected to the network yet because i don’t think i can listen that fast and write down to read back, do you have any tips?
Been flying to STL and with you there a few times, youve been absolutely great and I honestly didnt even realize you were just starting. do you remember sunwings lol?
Hey Jeff! I love watching your videos and I used to get on vatsim all the time. How can I find your controlling schedule so you can be my ground controller?
It’s difficult enough training to become a pilot. As a newb, I’m terrified about messing up. There’s so much to keep track of in your head. My ADHD brain would not be able to do this job at all. You must have an eidetic memory. “Not fast enough” LOL. I want to fly into St. Louis now just to get you as an ATC
I’m nervous about becoming a pilot on VATSIM. I can’t imagine how stressful being a controller would be. You have a sense of humor I rarely hear when listening to LiveATC as part of my ground training. Love it. You got a sub.
@@jfavignano Wow. That's actually not too bad. I imagine it is harder and takes longer to get into the busier airports, but I don't mind taking my time to work my way too it. I'm looking to start pursuing my private pilot license sometime next year, so learning all of this stuff now will give me a solid foundation to start from when I actually start the real life process. Thanks for the quick response.
I was SWA 2847 that night. Great job and keep it up, Jeff! Look forward to flying again in your air/groundspace soon!
Thanks for flying STL!
Do u remember where you were flying to or no???
You sound like an actual pilot. Am I right??

You being a controller at STL is gonna bring so many more pilots to the area! Glad you are doing this! :)

Nice Job, Jeff! I can't even comprehend how much you grow not only your channel, but your skillset is so incredible! You are a true Role Player!
Hey man this is awesome, so proud of you! Keep up the awesome work, it's great to see you always learning and sharing that with us!

As a fellow vatsim S1 controller, I wish you a lot of luck on your journey! Welcome to vatsim-controlling :)
I just became a S1 as well!
Congrats!@@AviationLover2111
How do you remember all that stuff? Dude, where did you get your brain...you must have a memory like an elephant
lots of lots of practice and training
@@jfavignano and kakane (love your vids jeff. Derailed isnt as complicated as it sounds when you play it) peace!❤
My thoughts talking to ground at my local international airport. It just becomes second nature
Best way to practice is by writing it down. Then you can't forget it.
Try controlling APP or CTR and doing that top down meaning your the only controller for every airport in your airspace.
Congrats Jeff! I need to get into VATSIM once I get a computer upgrade. Think it would help me prepare for flight school here in the spring (hopefully).
Also, love the trolling of Ryan. 😂
Love to see VATSIM on the Channel! Keep up the good work! Congrats on the S1!! Cheers!
Congrats Jeff!
Love seeing the behind the scenes of controllers on vatsim. Great Video
I had the pleasure of you controlling me out of St. Louis a while back when you first started. Excellent work! Delta 632.
Thank you!
Man sounds so natural doing this All those years of playing flight simulator really paid off and other simulator games. Good job man. Keep it up ❤

I still have that fly with me playlist going and have quite a few vatsim flights on there. Thank you and congrats on working at a major!

I was going to say he has a great radio voice that sounds trained. He sings, too? Nice. :)
How cool! Congrats Jeff!
As a Former S1 it is very stressful!
Jeff, all of that sounded super legit, good stuff!!
Delta typically doesn’t go to Dallas from St. Louis.
on VATSIM no one cares about that
Make sure you connect the departure procedure to the plan, eg “JHART7 departure, JHART, then as filed.”
Can’t wait to hear you on the airwaves. STL my home airport. Great job

What a difference to Europe. Over here Euroscope is dominating.
@BeauVerwijlen we used to use Euroscope in Australia. Vatsys is 100% better.
@@sweatdeo Definitaly agree! But you know what really better is? Flying, instead of controlling haha!

Hey Jeff! I love watching your videos and I used to get on vatsim all the time. How can I find your controlling schedule so you can be my ground controller?
I wish real world controllers would be as nice as this 😂
What software do y'all use for controlling? In the UK we use euroscope is it the same for you? But just did a different region?
This seems so fun
How can one do ATC along with spectating the airport at the same time? Any help would be appreciated!

I thought you weren’t allowed to use MSFS as a tower view? Has that changed? If so that’s awesome!
Why would that ever be a thing?
Hry jeff can u do a vud where u start the vid off by hello everybody jeff fagvino and we are back at against just a little bit cooler
