I can only pity those who think Kohli is equal to Tendulkar. Not only does Tendulkar outclass Kohli but also he played in a time when cricket was not entirely a batsman's game. He played against some of the greatest bowlers of all time such as Wasim Akram, Curtly Ambrose, Mc Grath, Shane Warne, and Muralitharan. Nowadays pitches are prepared to favor batsmen as big scores attract more tv viewership and revenues. Also boundaries have become smaller and the rules of the game have been modified to favor batsmen by introducing an extra powerplay and free hits. Due to all of these changes, there are hardly any world class bowlers any more.

For me number 1 has always been the six against Caddick. There can't be more perfect shot than that. How precisely he read the length and more importantly the line. Picked the ball from the off and deposited it to the stands, it might look easy, but not many could have executed a shot with such panache and precision. 2 . That lofted straight drive against Mike Kasprowicz. Two of the most famous and significant knocks(back to back),Sachin played against Australia. Who could forget the "Desert storm". Sachin played plenty of these shots mostly against Kasprowicz and Fleming, but this one in particular stands out. Unfortunately the tennis elbow injury, which his worst injury forced him to retire from playing that shot anymore. That was tragic 3rd : Against the mighty Shane Warne.. Sachin has played a few more shots similar to that against both warne and murli, both who could turn the ball miles and if there's a crack they will. hit it 99/100 times. Only the god dares to step out and take them down town going waaaaay outside the crease and sometimes even the pitch itself. Blessed were our childhood who watched him play during the 90's and even further down till his retirement. I know a few people who stopped watching cricket since Sachin retired. Massive respect to them coz they are the most loyal fans 🙌

For me number 1 has always been the six against Caddick.
There can't be more perfect shot than that.
How precisely he read the length and more importantly the line. Picked the ball from the off and deposited it to the stands, it might look easy, but not many could have executed a shot with such panache and precision.
2 . That lofted straight drive against Mike Kasprowicz.
Two of the most famous and significant knocks(back to back),Sachin played against Australia.
Who could forget the "Desert storm".
Sachin played plenty of these shots mostly against Kasprowicz and Fleming, but this one in particular stands out.
Unfortunately the tennis elbow injury, which his worst injury forced him to retire from playing that shot anymore. That was tragic
3rd : Against the mighty Shane Warne..
Sachin has played a few more shots similar to that against both warne and murli, both who could turn the ball miles and if there's a crack they will. hit it 99/100 times.
Only the god dares to step out and take them down town going waaaaay outside the crease and sometimes even the pitch itself.
Blessed were our childhood who watched him play during the 90's and even further down till his retirement.
