What you just said about how dates are secretive is why I can't do it😂 Hell I've had guys go silent during the talking stage just to pretend to be "nonchalant". In 1992 I had a girl ask me out on a date. I was 23 years old and she was 21. I had to go into the house, sit, and talk with her parents. She had other boyfriends. I took her to Ponderosa and the movie was "Under Siege". She was a nice girl although I wasn't ready to settle down. It was also a very 1950s type of date. She also became my stalker. She and her girlfriend were peeking in my windows one evening. I caught them yet pretended I didn't see them. Later she married some guy and they rented the house across the street from me. Her friend also wanted to go on a date a few years later. I was dating someone at the time and told her I have to take a raincheck on that.
