The work you do is phenomenal. But above and beyond that, the relationship with you dad is so heart warming.
I still can’t believe it’s his dad, I was watching for ages assuming it was a mate or brother-in-law or something 😂
y he didnt patch the holes
Thank you so much!! Far from perfect but trying our best to do it justice! I’m so glad I get to work with him ☺️
I was so waiting for this...coffee and RUclips time. Rob, Down Under
Hope you enjoy bud!! 👌😊
The interior that you are doing in the ceiling of the motor home is awesome.
Man you guys are a magician from the destroyed Porsche to the burned up phoenix then this motor home, I'm out of words how awesome you two are
The two of you are doing a wonderful job on the RV restoration. I can't wait to see it when you finished..Great job guys.
I am blown away at the transformation of this iconic and beautiful piece of GMC history! You guys have done an incredible job of not only restoring but improving this motor home in so many creative ways. I cant wait to see you cruising around with your family this summer , well done !
WOW! That headliner turned out friggin' awesome. Can't wait to see the rest of the interior.
I like that you put in a ceiling that looks like it was meant to be there, rather than some trendy timber crap.
Wow, the progress has been impressive. Looking forward to seeing the RV make ALL the memories for your family and hopefully generations to come.
I always loved that RV….. grew up with Pops taking us on seemingly endless trips in it… hands down the best memories I have! Bring it back to life guy’s….. carry on! Att’ll do …Att’ll do pig….. thumbs up!
Love this build. It's mid summer here in Australia so seeing a camper build is perfect. You and your dad have the best channel. Real budget builds that we can all relate to. Thanks!
I hope you realize how wonderful your dad is. My father never wanted to do anything with me. Oh also I love the motorhome videos. You guys are really turned that junker around. She's going to be sweet when you're done.
Love the GMC series. I remember being a wee kid and seeing these motorhomes all over as we traveled the country in our station wagon / pop-up combo. We always looked for the national park names on the side. Great memories...
So cool to see how you can replace the ceiling with panels you create yourself.
Looking great! The headliner makes such a difference. I can’t believe how spacious it looks empty like that, too.
Wow, I’m impressed with the speed. It takes an average for most people of five years to complete a job like that. Good luck, Richard.
While I totally agree that they are making good progress, they are 2 men with this being their full time jobs. Would be more impressive if they were juggling another job on top of this
@@darrenswails I am not too sure whether it is his fulltime job or not, I heard that he is a marine mechanic? Anyways, it sounds like he works for himself on his own terms so I believe he might be balancing the Budget Buildz channel along with his job. If not, still very impressive.
@@basharal-assad7707 well,he was so excited when he was able to bring his dad in fulltime so most likely he stopped his other job first then brought on dad when he could afford to
i dont know why everybody seems to be down on raised white letters i like em
I had RWL "DRAG MASTER" radials on my 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme.
Because they were played out in the seventies and eighties. Kinda like yoyo's everyone had them but they playe😢d out by the eighties
I love em .
I hear you. You can't have a nice car without white raised letters an aluminum mags and tinted windows
I love white letter tires too
The memories the kids will have on that motorhome... Priceless...
It's nice to see you work with your dad on awesome projects like this. I bet lots of folks out there would love to have that relationship with their dad. ❤
I like the raised white letters, their in the year of the motorhome. But I would have painted the drums and axel centers black or silver before putting the wheels back on.
Let’s gooooo. I’ve been patiently waiting for this one.🙌🙌🙌🙌
I really hope you enjoy!!! ☺️
GM's Astro styling has proven to be timeless. It looks just as cool and exciting as it did in the '70s. Excellent job bringing it up to date!
That repair is all you need, buying new would take money away from other projects. Well done.
By the time you guys get done with this it's going to be 3x better than anything made today by RV manufacturers...quality. I'm impressed!
this motorhome is turning out much better than I expected. also, I really enjoy these longer-term projects
I’m completely blown away by this Michael. Your commitment to incredibly high quality work is evident in every project you do and this camper is no exception. Such clean work. Outstanding content as always! 🚐
Amazing transformation on RV 🎉🎯💪💯
Thank you so much!! ☺️
Awesome job on the roof lining. It's great to see all the wiring from the caravan work out.
So many kids would love the chance to do one of these projects with their dad.
This series makes me happy. I love seeing the rebuild on this motorhome.. Went through a similar process on a much smaller popup camper.. Had a blast, been using it for 3 years now. Never thought we'd use it as much as we do. Keep up the good work!
Started watching your channel for this series. These GMCs are great vehicles, and you're doing a super job restoring this one. Looking forward to seeing you finish it off, and enjoying it with your family!
Great work! It's starting to come together. You might want to put a switch on that outdoor speaker so you can listen to music in the camper without blasting music throughout the campground. Otherwise... it's looking great!
This is just a blast to watch. I have always loved the GMC motor home. I remember seeing them back in the day and they were so far ahead of RV design. Great job gentlemen. Thanks for bringing us along! 😊
That’s going to be really nice to spend time with y’all’s family in.
I really like your build series that you do but this is by far my favorite. The ceiling back up made it start to look like an actual camper again
The motorhome is the coolest project on RUclips! You guys are doing a phenoeinal job!
I love this camper and the hard work you are putting into it.. it needs a NAME!!
Wow !! You guys have REALLY made some HUGE improvements !!! Looking forward to the next video !!!!
Love the set up so far. Are you going to put back in the mustard shag up front. You know you need it. Go on.
Now you are seeing so much difference when you move from stripping out to re-building. Looking awesome guys, peace to you as well.
I fall in love with this build every episode. Very nice work and you are having fun with the fam. Blessed.
It just amazes me how you and your dad make such quality pieces of art out of the things you guys find. The RV is fantastic and my age. Best show on the internet. I can't wait to see what you guys think of next. Keep shooting for your dreams...... Just quality
Yay I love this build!
Cherish these memories you are making with your Dad. I sure miss my Dad but have so many sweet memories of us working together. 😊
I am looking forward to the Budget Builds Road Trip Travelogue.
Wow what a change from where you started. That thing will be perfect to take to shows and events. Good work.
Hi guys nice video 📹 and workmanship love the lighted bar for entrance and exit
The outside already looks so much better than when you 1st brought it home.
Great video on the RV has to be rewarding for you guys to see all your work come to reality!
I love how you handle this project.
Keep going on.😊 Greatings from Dortmund/Germany
I love that GMC RV....glad y'all are savin' it... she's lookin' beautiful! What y'all gonna name 'er?
You do amazing work with your Dad! Love seeing this transformation!!
Very nice, great progress on all the small projects.just keep doing what your doing and on to the next adventure.great video as always 😎😎😎👍👍👍
You both did a great job on the gmc RV …looks awesome so far..
Great progress. I used those same lights in my trailer except I used the soft white, and they are killer bright
Better than new.. this thing's gonna be worth a fortune when you've completed it.
Awesome. As a teenager I admired these campers from pictures I’d see in magazines. Always thought it would be so cool to own one. Kudos to you for saving this one and bringing it back to a useful life! Jealous!
This is going to be one beautiful Motor Home when you finish it! I REALLY love that blue illuminated handle you installed on the side of the door entrance! That is gorgeous!!! Never knew that there was such a thing! Really pretty and ads a nice touch to the exterior!
Looking great. Ceiling looks professional.
Guys that thing is sick. heck of a job !
Upgrading the rearview mirror to a backup camera one would be cool and super functional for the RV
So much to do and have done already ....It's nice to see old things brought back to a better condition.
I've been really enjoying this motorhome build.
Love your positive attitude and your ceiling.
When you went to turn on your power l was just as stressed as you. Then magic! So exciting when it actually works!
Motorhome is coming along very nicely. It’s going to be a beaut when she’s done
This is the best motor home ever built, any time you can get your hands on one, it's well worth the purchase. 🤠👍
I dig the wheels and tires
I love the wheels and raised lettering, maybe a tidy up of the inner wheel arches... paint them black and it would highlight the wheels more
Grandpa Max's Rv ❤️❤️❤️
This is so nostalgic.❤
All it needs now is the Plumber tech... lol!
I watch a lot of automotive restoration on RUclips, a lot of it is people fixing up crashed cars by simply replacing parts. The stuff you folks do is so much more rewarding to watch, this has quickly become my favourite automotive channel on RUclips. This series (dare I say it) might be even better than the 911! Keep up the good work lads!
She’s really coming around and looking fantastic. Great job you guys! Looking forward to the next video on the camper. Thank you!
Love you guys. Such common sense not displayed in other car restore videos done by immature tubers for attention.
Soooooooooo satisfying when our plans we did all just come together.
Always loved those GMCs can't wait to see it done and cruising down the road !
I don't know words to tell you about how awesome and amazing I think that project is!! I can't hardly wait for each video on the GMC. I know you will really enjoy it this summer and for many other summers!! Keep the videos coming!!
Les felicito ha sido un trabajo excelente ya los vere' cuando esten viajando y disfrutando su GMC Home saludos from Caracas, Venezuela.😀
Wow that roof turned out beautiful!!!!!! Great job!! Great build!!!
I’m supposed to be working from home but I’ve been waiting for this update. Thanks guys
Great job!!! I’m loving watching the process of this super cool revival
Another great job..cant wait to see the finished product and on the road enjoying a holiday. Steve, Australia
Man its starting to look really good. You guys did a awesome job on the ceiling.
As a kid this was one of my favorite Hot Wheels LOL, it's so cool watching you fix this up!
i honestly cant think of an automotive youtuber at this point that puts more effort into their work than you guys. keep it up.
Looking great! What a massive project. It is very easy to get overwhelmed. Congrats on everything you guys accomplished!
It’s great to see that glass board for your ceiling..so many uses for that stuff ! Great work gents ! New sub here 🤙
You are so lucky. I never got to do things like that with my dad. Sure hope you know how special that is. Great channel, love your content, good luck. You two deserve it.
add a switch for the outside speaker , awesome build
I always show the Raised White Letters ! I still like Whitewalls also ! You go boy !
This is going to be an awesome RV when you are done. You are doing a great job. And the best thing is, it likely will not break down or start falling apart like the new ones they sell today. Look forward to your next video.
i must say that the motor home is my favorite series by you and your dad...keep them coming.
You know when you guys started this project,I thought you were crazy!but watching you build this motor home and Researching the materials to save money,it's really impressive so far! That's a great product Locktight caulking well done guys!
Nice work! I was a little skeptical on replacing that ceiling but it turned out amazing! I’m proud of you guys! Way to go. So awesome the lights and stuff are from a wrecked camper too. Keep up the good work!
That aluminized bubble wrap insulation is great stuff. Used it in headliner, behind door panel, dash, rear seat of a few cars
We have light! Looking good, can’t wait to see the rest of the interior coming together.
The AMONT of research and planning it takes to do one of these is completely insane! But the way you guys making it turnout is Even MORE INSANE!!! Nice Work Guys!!! That looks Amazing!!!!
That motorhome is really shaping up nice! Better than when you started with! I really like the white letterd radials. You and your dad are doind a good job.
Looking forward to your first car show appearance. The family is going to love it!
This home's so well-lit, I'm surprised that the helicopter pilot didn't mistake you for the LZ.😁
Seriously, I think this restomod is going to be as cool as the Porsche. You two are doing great work...the wheel/tire combo is nice.
I love what you boys do... giving new life to old vehicles... and this RV resurrection has been one of my favorite projects to watch! 👍Thank you for bringing us along! Your family is going to absolutely love traveling in it, I'm sure. 😉 Keep up the good work, and the great content! 👏
So excited to see it coming together. We had one just like this (white with blue) when I was younger. Lots of great memories.
Yes! That’s so cool
Thank you! 😊
