I am blown away at the transformation of this iconic and beautiful piece of GMC history! You guys have done an incredible job of not only restoring but improving this motor home in so many creative ways. I cant wait to see you cruising around with your family this summer , well done !
Love this build. It's mid summer here in Australia so seeing a camper build is perfect. You and your dad have the best channel. Real budget builds that we can all relate to. Thanks!
I always loved that RV….. grew up with Pops taking us on seemingly endless trips in it… hands down the best memories I have! Bring it back to life guy’s….. carry on! Att’ll do …Att’ll do pig….. thumbs up!
I like the raised white letters, their in the year of the motorhome. But I would have painted the drums and axel centers black or silver before putting the wheels back on.
Love the GMC series. I remember being a wee kid and seeing these motorhomes all over as we traveled the country in our station wagon / pop-up combo. We always looked for the national park names on the side. Great memories...
While I totally agree that they are making good progress, they are 2 men with this being their full time jobs. Would be more impressive if they were juggling another job on top of this
@@darrenswails I am not too sure whether it is his fulltime job or not, I heard that he is a marine mechanic? Anyways, it sounds like he works for himself on his own terms so I believe he might be balancing the Budget Buildz channel along with his job. If not, still very impressive.
@@basharal-assad7707 well,he was so excited when he was able to bring his dad in fulltime so most likely he stopped his other job first then brought on dad when he could afford to
It's nice to see you work with your dad on awesome projects like this. I bet lots of folks out there would love to have that relationship with their dad. ❤
I hope you realize how wonderful your dad is. My father never wanted to do anything with me. Oh also I love the motorhome videos. You guys are really turned that junker around. She's going to be sweet when you're done.
You both should bre very proud of yourselves. Your work is meticulous, no half ass cutting corners. And the dad and son relationship is far beyond . Congrats to both of you.
Started watching your channel for this series. These GMCs are great vehicles, and you're doing a super job restoring this one. Looking forward to seeing you finish it off, and enjoying it with your family!
This is just a blast to watch. I have always loved the GMC motor home. I remember seeing them back in the day and they were so far ahead of RV design. Great job gentlemen. Thanks for bringing us along! 😊
I’m completely blown away by this Michael. Your commitment to incredibly high quality work is evident in every project you do and this camper is no exception. Such clean work. Outstanding content as always! 🚐
This series makes me happy. I love seeing the rebuild on this motorhome.. Went through a similar process on a much smaller popup camper.. Had a blast, been using it for 3 years now. Never thought we'd use it as much as we do. Keep up the good work!
It just amazes me how you and your dad make such quality pieces of art out of the things you guys find. The RV is fantastic and my age. Best show on the internet. I can't wait to see what you guys think of next. Keep shooting for your dreams...... Just quality
First of all, I’ve been watching this RV series from the beginning and just want to thank you for bringing us all on this journey. Those wheels really pop on there. And all the little things you’ve done really stand out too. You and your dad make an awesome team!
This is going to be one beautiful Motor Home when you finish it! I REALLY love that blue illuminated handle you installed on the side of the door entrance! That is gorgeous!!! Never knew that there was such a thing! Really pretty and ads a nice touch to the exterior!
Bum to BEAUTY...! Restuffed , reskinned...rehabbed and refreshed..REALLY A GREAT JOB.....IF YOU CAN REBUILD A PORSCHE...THIS AINT THAT TUFF...!! Bravo.!
That GMC has my age!! Damn I getting old along with my two car's!! One from "89. And the other from "92!! 141a and W201 117000km's and 380000km's War Tank's
Great work! It's starting to come together. You might want to put a switch on that outdoor speaker so you can listen to music in the camper without blasting music throughout the campground. Otherwise... it's looking great!
I love watching you guys putting this RV back together this was a vehicle I've always wanted in my collection you two are doing an excellent job thanks for bringing us along with you!
The AMONT of research and planning it takes to do one of these is completely insane! But the way you guys making it turnout is Even MORE INSANE!!! Nice Work Guys!!! That looks Amazing!!!!
This has been such a satisfying build to follow - I even have my 5 year old asking for new episodes! Amazing to see how much of that salvaged caravan you’ve been able to slot right in.

Looking Good! What an amazing restoration you are doing on this motorhome! I grew p in Pontiac, MI and I can remember seeing these all in the GM yard transport rows and rows of them waiting to be shipped out! So cool Toronado drivetrain and all! Looking forward to next episode
The work you do is phenomenal. But above and beyond that, the relationship with you dad is so heart warming.
I still can’t believe it’s his dad, I was watching for ages assuming it was a mate or brother-in-law or something 😂
y he didnt patch the holes
Thank you so much!! Far from perfect but trying our best to do it justice! I’m so glad I get to work with him ☺️
I was so waiting for this...coffee and RUclips time. Rob, Down Under

The interior that you are doing in the ceiling of the motor home is awesome.
Man you guys are a magician from the destroyed Porsche to the burned up phoenix then this motor home, I'm out of words how awesome you two are
The two of you are doing a wonderful job on the RV restoration. I can't wait to see it when you finished..Great job guys.

The memories the kids will have on that motorhome... Priceless...
I like that you put in a ceiling that looks like it was meant to be there, rather than some trendy timber crap.
Amazing transformation on RV 🎉🎯💪💯
Thank you so much!! ☺️
Looking great! The headliner makes such a difference. I can’t believe how spacious it looks empty like that, too.
Wow, I’m impressed with the speed. It takes an average for most people of five years to complete a job like that. Good luck, Richard.
While I totally agree that they are making good progress, they are 2 men with this being their full time jobs. Would be more impressive if they were juggling another job on top of this

So cool to see how you can replace the ceiling with panels you create yourself.
It's nice to see you work with your dad on awesome projects like this. I bet lots of folks out there would love to have that relationship with their dad. ❤
So many kids would love the chance to do one of these projects with their dad.
Keep the good work up peace and love from Great Britain from DEAN FRAIN FROM ALTON UK peace😮
I hope you realize how wonderful your dad is. My father never wanted to do anything with me. Oh also I love the motorhome videos. You guys are really turned that junker around. She's going to be sweet when you're done.
i dont know why everybody seems to be down on raised white letters i like em
I had RWL "DRAG MASTER" radials on my 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme.
Because they were played out in the seventies and eighties. Kinda like yoyo's everyone had them but they playe😢d out by the eighties
I love em .
I hear you. You can't have a nice car without white raised letters an aluminum mags and tinted windows
I love white letter tires too
I love this rebuilt video. It’s a combination of Auto Fix-up and This Old House together! ❤.
That repair is all you need, buying new would take money away from other projects. Well done.
Let’s gooooo. I’ve been patiently waiting for this one.🙌🙌🙌🙌
I really hope you enjoy!!! ☺️
I love this camper and the hard work you are putting into it.. it needs a NAME!!
