This hit me in the feels. I'm a 7 decades old Vietnam vet and my very first vehicle was a '52 Dodge pickup with a flathead 6 my dad bought me when I was 15.
I'm a 7 decades old Vietnam vet also! I had a 58 Ford w/ Interceptor engine but not as cool as this truck! God bless 🙌 and take care buddy 🙏
I have never served in the military but I have had the great privilege to grow up in the greatest country on the face of the earth, thank you veterans for your sacrifice, I am indebted to you for your sacrifice, I say with a humble and grateful heart to our Vietnam Veterans, "welcome home" to you. God bless you.
Mine was a 53 with the square rear fenders. Got it when I was 15 also. Mine had the deluxe cab with the corner cab windows. My dad had a 51 when I was a kid.
@@jerrymcgaughey3525. Very, Very Well Said Sir, Thank You Kindly for putting that much more Eloquently than I ever could had. Happy New Year to You and Yours, Keep It Safe Out There
Love your shows, just so far between them, this one is up there with your best , love the Chevy one with the honey and bee's still my number 1 , God bless you all and happy New year 👍🇭🇲
The most touching thing I've seen all Christmas..... You have a great town full of great people. You made me smile and even put a tear in my eye.... Thank everyone of you including Christian for all you do...

Lance, Wyatt and Christian, I absolutely loved this episode! Seeing the Town come together in the parade made me tear up… wonderful you got first place! I’m so thrilled Turnin Rust is back! Love to all, best wishes for the New Year and beyond!
Thanks for the happy tears and smiles!
Seeing this father son team working together warms my heart. Having grown up in a family business working with my dad and brothers this hits close to my heart. My favorite RUclips channel.
Christian is the star of the show! Production value is super high quality and the shots really make you feel and wish you were there! God is good and so is your camera gal!
Amen Russell!!
I can't believe what you foolios did to that nice old Dodge. Sacrilege.
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂
Your crew have outdone themselves with this one.
A very Merry Christmas to you and your families.
God bless your beautiful town.
What you provided back to your community is worth more than any Corvette.
The only thing I can say is " May God always bless your family and the whole Town "
My dad had a '55 dodge with the V8 in it. Don't really remember that much about it. He ended up giving it away when we moved to Georgia, because we couldn't take it with us. It didn't run at the time. That was back in 1985.
It brings back memories.
That was so heart warming. I’m spending this Christmas alone. I felt love and family that abounds in your video. So wonderful. Thank you.
Thank you for watching! I’m glad you were able to spend some of your time with us!
❤️🙏
Dianne, I feel the same way. I am spending Christmas alone too But, remember its other ppl that are missing out by not spending Christmas with you.
@@codylandreth6078, a lot of us, especially seniors, are spending Christmas alone. It has been 23+ years since my precious gift from God went Home so I'm used to spending holidays alone. Not a choice I would have made but as the old saying goes, you have to play the hand you were dealt. Merry Christmas, everybody.
@@richardcline1337 Emanuel. God with us.
I just love this production. The story behind this truck is amazing. Merry Christmas to you and the whole Bush family.
I'm 66 years old and sitting here in tears after watching this! Your crew never fails to wow me but this is the most awesome video I've ever watched! Love me some Turnin' Rust, God Bless ya'll!!
Im not an emotional person at all, but i can honestly say this build, your family, community had me tear up. This is what this world needs to see including myself. I will continue to follow your channel! God bless you all
The whole story is like the Town's award, #1 in my mind. You all did a great job! Thank you for what you do. Merry Christmas
Your production value is crazy. Major props to whoever is shooting and editing your videos.
I AM 64 AND THIS VIDEO BROUGHT BACK SO MANY CHILDHOOD MEMORIES, GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS.
This world needs more towns and folks like you. The whole spirit of Christmas has been lost to the retail world and advertising. Your little town is where I want to be. And to have neighbors just like you and your family. God-loving and humble.
By far the coolest truck I have ever seen! Not particularly a dodge fan, but this one is making me rethink that very seriously. You guys did a outstanding job on this one.
God Bless you all
The shop and mechanic work was great as usual, but y'all have brought your video production to new heights! This was AWESOME!
This 70 year old Marine had tears in my eyes.I have been watching you guys for years and this is My Favorite by far.
Awesome, this needs to be played every Christmas by you guys. The spirit of Christmas is giving, and we forget that. You gave the town something in good faith and when it looked like a failure, the town came back and opened up and helped. Ironically it's what the people of Whoville did when the Grinch repented, they opened up to him and just accepted what he was. Thank you all.
Great holiday episode guys. Christian, the filming and editing rocked. Hope you all have a blessed holiday season and I can’t wait for the next episode.
absolutely brilliant! 👏 loved it. sat through all 46.5mins thoroughly entertained. glued to this video without interruption.
credit and thanks to everyone involved in the making of this. ✊ y'all should be very proud at what you acheived.
nice to see you left some bloopers in too. good to see you having fun and laughs making this content as time-consuming as it must be.
everyone seems so wholesome and genuine. thank you. all the best to each and every one of you + your family and loved ones this Christmas. 🎄🎅
Seeing a Father snd Son Wrenching together on Vintage Vehicles is an Amazing Wonderful Sight.
Love everything about the video guys. It was just so awesome and warm feeling with everyone coming together like that to help you guys. That's what friends in a community are all about, it's the love shared by many. Thanks for sharing guys.
Fantastic production, embraces the spirit of community and giving.
Well done. Yall have a safe and thankful xmas 🎄
excellent production. extremely entertaining. love you guys. the "who-poo-plumbing" had me rolling. merry christmas guys.
I shed a tear. Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love my small town people, even the Grinch or two we have. Blessings.
I just got to see this episode for the first time… guys, you outdid yourselves this time! I loved this, there’s nothing better than giving back when you can!
Filming, editing and the story was amazing!! Merry Christmas
Glad to see you guys back at it. Great video and merry Christmas
That just warmed my heart! Watched it with my 3 yr old grandson and he LOVED it!
Thank ya'll
This gets better with every episode 😂😂😂
Merry Christmas to you all ❤❤
The corvette wasn’t meant to be and that’s okay, would be another $25,000 plus in restoration
Can't believe a small independent team is putting a production like this together. The quality, content, story, awesome truck! 🔥🔥
Love the fact that yall are born again!!!!
Almost cried when you cut the hole in the hood, ruining a perfectly rare truck.
Walking away from the vette was the right thing to do
Love these old Dodge trucks. Dad always had one (1951-1953 models) and for many years they were our only vehicle. They seem to be indestructible as long as you kept oil and anti-freeze in them. We had a '54 model that an old farmer had let freeze and popped out the entire left side of the block. It was glued back in place with J-B Weld and never gave us a lick of trouble for about another 60,000 miles. It had almost 50,000 miles on it when he bought it.
Years later, I found a real nice '54 model that had factory-tinted glass all around.
My dad had a Dodge P/U similar to this. As a kid I used to love riding along on his errands. Brings back old memories!
Awesome video. The production time that was put into this was great.
Lance, I'm so sorry to not know how else to converse with you for lack of any email address for you but I feel it imperative to tell you that God has placed a burden on my heart for your Dad regarding a hidden health problem of your Dad's and for same reason I am asking you and Lil Sis, in the name of Jesus, to please join me in praying for your Dad's deliverance from the threat to his health and wellbeing. Thank you. God bless you each and all. Great video. Really enjoyed watching it. 😎👍
Loved the Charger in the beginning.
Will Pilkington You guys never disappoint me in your choice of products. This Christmas truck and the generosity of the people of the town is wonderful
That was a sweet truck but I knew you guys were going to do something to ruin it I can't believe you'd cut a hole in the hood for something like that how dumb a nice set of old school stacks would have been better
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! SHE CAME OUT TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!
A 52 Fargo was my high school vehicle. That old girl was so reliable. I traded it with some cash for a 55 Pontiac when I joined the Navy. Now 60 years later; wish I'd kept both of them.
Awesome! A family that gives glory to God! God bless you and your family!
Not sure how many times I have watched this episode. It is definitely one of my favourites.
Thank you.
God sure does bless yall
Im really enjoying the program I love the older vehicles. Im a 59 model and my Grand Dad had a auto repair shop and I have pictures of me as a baby with the old cars in the background. That's cool to me.
This was an incredible video! You are all awesome to bring that ol' truck back to life and then have it in a Christmas parade was beautiful, even though it had to be pushed, it still made a lasting impact to all those kids that saw it! This made my day! WONDERFUL!!!
I'm a few days late on watching this one, but once again you guys and gal have outdone yourselves! Was really cool to see the community come together to help y'all get through the parade.
the green lights and flames...nice touch
What a great thing you just did! The Grinch has been an American tradition for many years, you just added to that love!❤😊
Boy now that’s just cool, I’m sure the kids loved it in the parade. God bless y’all for doing this.
"This is just a prime example of how when we think things are going terribly wrong...God can make 'em good." Well said, Lance! Great perspective on a stressful situation. Well done to you all!
EVEN THE POO TRUCK COULDN'T STOP THE THE TRUE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS 🎄- THE LOVE FOR MAN KIND🙏😀👍
am in Uganda but i enjoy how u people work out your things God bless u.
I thought I'd seen it all but man I want that truck!
It's great to see Turnin' Rust alive and kicking again. Now I can watch you guys on two channels! Good show, love the truck!
This truck is a Christmas miracle! So much to work with!
This was hands down, one of the best productions yall have ever done. My wife and I absolutely loved it. Merry Christmas to yall.
folks that was awesome - God Bless !!
What you guys do is very touching and I know the big man sees it. God bless you and keep on keeping on
That truck was amazing! Great story! I loved the town pushing the truck! Wow! Great community! That's what it is all about. Loved it!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE EVERYWHERE!!!!
I really needed to hear the bit at the end. God is good! ❤❤❤❤
I know it’s late but that was great. You guys are something else, in a good way not too many people would have tried. You didn’t fail it brought people together for the greatest time
I would love to have a Dodge like this to drive all the time .YES IT IS GRATE .
Okay, this was GREAT! What a fantastic segment. Thank you for this guys and gals!
I had a 48 b1c dodge,, sure miss that truck,, mine has the 219 flat 6. Outstanding job , especially how the whole community came to help
Best Turnin Rust episode ever.
✝️🙏
I love that Dodge Truck !
So sad that someone left that 60s Corvette sitting outside all that time.... should of never done that.
LOVED this one! The humorous scenes/outtakes at the end was hilarious, and I think including a little more of that humor throughout the videos would really send it over the top
God bless you guys.
I owned an old FJ45 Toyota Land Cruiser in the 1980's which had twin leading shoe brakes.
An old timer mechanic buddy who has long since retired also told me the motor in the FJ45 was basically a Japanese copy of the Dodge Blue Flame stove bolt six cylinder engine.
In my opinion based on experience for any given diameter twin leading shoes are about as strong as brakes can get, because the surface area of the shoes is substantially greater than that of disc brake pads and all of it acts in contact with the drums plus, they don't fade when they get wet.
Much respect to mechanics like these guys who can do this type of work. So knowledgeable 💪💪🇺🇸🇺🇸
father and son team priceless so epic
My first Vehicle was a 53 Dodge 1/2 ton truck, with the spitfire flathead 6, 3 1/2" Lift kit, 73 Corvette yellow. Absolutely loved that truck.. later on I had a 49 that was all original and rust free.
Man, I love your town! The Lord is definitely working there. To see all those floats pointing focus to Him who deserves all definitely brought me joy. I adored the skit at the end. The detail and talent was awesome! and seeing ya’ll donate back to the community was icing on the cake. If there is any channel these days worth supporting, it’s Turnin Rust. Luke 6:20-23
And happy early 37th birthday fellow Augustan 🎉
Nevermind...that old truck sounds AWESOME with the hood exit exhaust!
Always loved me some 50s Dodge pickups. Also, Tim is the same age as me. Shout out, Tim.
My family had a ‘50 Dodge when I was a kid. These were tough trucks.
Grinch truck is fitting...it's too mean and tough to quit. Good stuff ya'll.
How cool! was that!
This is my favorite build. I've been watching all the shows. And this one was just awesome. God bless and be restored
Absolutely thrilled with how this turned out, hats off !
Sweet! What a labor of love. Thank you and Merry Christmas!!
When I was a teenager my work associate had a Dodge Job Rated. We were cleaning apartments in San Francisco when a tenant left (or offed themselves). But we went to a lot of jobs in Job Rated. He really loved that thing. For some reason he really liked that it was a 6 volt system. "I can get a jump from either a 6 volt or a 12 volt." As if there were any 6 volt cars left in the 70's in The City.
What fun. Thanks and God Bless
I love that old truck. Great job guys getting it running again.
I’m happy to see that you’ve finally regained your senses and put your hat on like a normal person. Great job.
Being so creative and heartwarming to your community is a Christmas joy for sure good job to all of you and merry Christmas
Rubbed a tear off the cheek. Good job guys. Merry Christmas, and happy new year.
You gentleman are a blessing to your community! God Bless to you and your family. P.S. I purchased and built a 1948 Pilot House 5 window pick up. I installed a 350 bored 30 over, 350 auto, p.s., p.b., a/c, heat, 1977 fire bird rear end, 78 fire bird sub frame, camaro tilt and the list goes on and on. Great job you two!
I would absolutely love to have this truck.
I miss the days I lived in Oklahoma and as I would drive to visit family in Louisiana the journey would drive me pass their shop. Always smiled at all the cool classics parked in their lot.
GOD Bless us everyone!
Great job everyone. That is a 15 out of 10 video. I'm going to play it for my grandkids for a very long time! Can't thank you enough
My favorite Turnin' Rust video - the production quality is fantastic. Loved it!
LOVE THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD HERE ON THIS SHOW
