Love the Lo Pro with the HC Additions and really want it, but at $1.5k they've gotta come up with a better way for customers to measure than 2 pieces of paper.
Hard to say. I'm not sure if the mounting plate is the same on CBI. If it is, or atleast close then I think it would work. Obviously you would have to drill all the mounting holes.
Having some gap is a good thing to be honest. Frame and body flex aren't proportional, so a gap helps with preventing the bumper and clearance wings avoiding making excessive contact with the bumper cover during high flex situations.
Sweet install, I have the same one but with full height bull bar and love it. Quick question? Will you guys be sell the yota expedition decals for the side? Please 🙏
Very disappointed that you didn't mention the after-cut gap issues you had when you were making the clip of you cutting the bumper. I could imagine some guy following this guide as he goees and ends up with atrocious gaps on his 4runner because you didn't go back and do a 30 second voiceover telling him to cut less than you did. Regardless it's a great install video.
Thanks for the feed back but I believe I mentioned something at 10:55 on the topic you're talking about. You also want a bit of gap to allow the body to flex and the pieces from C4 have plenty of adjustment to get it looking how you like it.
are you not just following the contour of the bumper to the end of the top? guess Im not noticing anything other than that but I also dont want these $600 additions to be loose
I’m loving how this build is tuning out! You guys are killing it 🔥
Appreciate it!

Thanks for this. I'm considering this setup.
It's a nice set up! Currently installing one on a customer build
Im digging it but i think i like the viper cut a little better
Both look good! Whatever you like best
I wonder if these viper wings will mount up with the CBI covert bumper.

Yeah, you're right. I just wasn't happy with seeing a huge gab there.

Yes, it is something we are working on, and hope to have them available soon.
Yep we need decals!

C4 gives you a template to follow. And what do you mean by the additions being loose?
Where do they sell it?
yotaxpedition.com/products/4runner-lo-pro-bumper-high-clearance-additions-5th-gen-2014
Where can I find the template on C4's website? I can't seem o find it
Go to the product page, click on the instructions tab and right above the video is the template link.
@@yotaxpedition Thank you
Yeah I’m one of the poor idiots who followed this step by step and now also has an atrocious gap 😞
There *has* to be a better way to do this. The template system always resultes in these u predictable gaps 😂
Yeah, the template is a bit crude
