The only thing I can't get behind is the price of the ladders for these 4runners, it's literally nuts.

My boy built his for under 7k. Literally everything. Suspension, wheels, tires, slider, links, lights,literally the whole shabang. Hint* There was help with pricing. Paid half for 16k worth of parts. Awesome build tho!!!!
There definitely is cheaper options out there for parts as well.
I don't have a 4runner, but that's pretty good. Mods are pricey these days.
$42,113.10 so for my ‘17 TRD OR, excluding vehicle cost..

Cool, now I know where I can pick up reasonably priced framed mounted rock sliders, you guys. Nice build, I will end up doing about half of that plus skid plates, you didn't mention much about skid plates. I'd save the money on light bars and get skids and a front air locker. Great video though going through everything, very nice.

The OEM sliders are pretty nice for the price. Haven't hit them on anything major, but they've been unfazed by small drops so far.
The only thing that I may do to them is drill into the mounting surface at some point to add more mounting bolts. 6 bolts per side just seems a little light for me. Fortunately the material is there for me to modify it to make it 10 bolts instead.

Saw this video when it came out and told myself I wasn’t going to put that much into mine. Here we are a year later about to drop 7k on suspension, 3k on new wheels and tires, 1500 on headlights, 5k on front and rear bumpers, a winch, recovery gear, lights, dual battery setup, solar panels, and I just installed my new roof rack and rooftop tent. I don’t think I’m gonna keep it under 15k …

$15k for all that isn't too bad. I've spent over 18k just on my suspension

Fox 2.5 3-tube bypass shocks around $2600
extended axle shafts - $900
air bump stops and cans $ 800
spindle gussets - $200
Steering rack and pinion $ 1700
Just paid for shock rebuild - $1800
I'm sure im missing some parts but im just up to 15,500 off the top of my head.
Add another $3k for a regear and $9k for a supercharger and you’re good to go.

Holy hell didn’t know Toyota has their own rock sliders. At half the price? Are these like hollow metal or solid build quality?
These are tubular. Not as robust as the other aftermarket options for for the price point they are well worth it!

Could you do a video for the front runner slim line 2 rack and accessories, as well as if any exterior side access molle panels?
We currently only do install videos on products we offer but that is something we can look into.

No, they are very different. Different Engine, different chassis, different platform entirely.
What were those caps on the ends of the rock sliders? I know when I delete my side body panel to make room for a slider, it leaves a nasty exposed piece where my mudflaps would drill into
Not sure what caps you're talking about. We just installed C4 rock sliders and the front mudflaps are removed for tire clearance.
How did you not have to do BMC with 285? Upgraded UCA(with caster adjustment)???
Nope! Factory UCA. The wheel size and offset are just right to avoid having to do a BMC
No BMC to get those 285s mud terrains? Is there any rubbing at all?
What’s your MPG post all these current mods?
All your lighting, plus the winch are all running off the stock single battery?

No BMC with this setup. We've had this thing flexing pretty hard with no issues. Our average mpg isn't good because we don't drive on the highway much. And yes, everything is currently on one battery.

That's just the cost of parts. If I had to make a rough guess, $3-4K

That is just the cost for the parts. We installed everything ourselves.

Terrible build unless you rich guy playing around. All that money and no full steel low profile bumper. No steel rear bumper with tire carry. No rock sliders.
