Who loves Joe Biden and JT? Lol
Hey, thank you i will be buying them both. So awesome 👌🏻
Thanks man been looking for ways to make mine more efficient, probably gonna try a fireback…FJB🇺🇸👍🏼
Great job. I have 2 Texas fireframes and got traditional iron firebacks. I’d love to see someone do a scientific video with a thermometer and compare the setup. But even if the fire frame doesn’t add heat (it does) it’s cool because you can see *inside the fire*.
Lovely house you got there, You guys seem to have the same lunatics in charge like we do over here!.
Hey thanks Billy, we’re really fortunate especially with what this government has done, virtually impossible to get into the home market today for new home owners.
Hi, did you try the vertical grate by grate wall of fire as well? What made you pick the Texas one?
I found it limiting. I like to build big fires. The Grate limits your fire width and I wanted to be able to build my fire, wider, deeper And higher. Also I think it looks nicer, the fire that is. I’ve watched videos and have seen both.. I also think it would produce more heat but that theory is untested but more fire generally means more heat.
Enjoyed your video on the Texas Fire frame and bought one mostly based on your review. How long did it take to receive your fire frame. Doesn't appear to be anything on the web site to check on order status. Thanks for your response.
Hey thanks, glad it was helpful and appreciate the feedback. It took about 10 days but I’m in Canada 🇨🇦.
Nice review. Do you know where you acquired the fireplace screen? I think your exact model is what I’m looking for.
Thanks eh! I bought it in Burnaby Vancouver at a fireplace store. I’d have to look up the name of the store but I’m guessing your in the USA.
How do load more wood once its lit? Just from the top or do you slide pieces into the bottom?
Good question, I’ve tried both with success but I find the key is all about selecting really good pieces of wood for the bottom rack. Making sure that they both are hard wood, big and wide. This way they burn 🔥 for a long time generating a lot of ambers and heat. The upper level you can smaller pieces and you continue to reload the top. I will say the look of the fire 🔥 is beautiful and noticeable hotter and burns cleaner.
I'm thinking about getting the Texas Fire Grate. Still not sure about the Great Wall Back Plate. Have you tried the Texas fire frame without the Great Wall back plate? And what was the difference? Thanks for the video!!!
No I haven’t since my back wall started to crack and was a high priority. You could start with the Fire Wall and see if it produces enough radiation but for me I was look for maximum output and needed the most Radiant return. I would also recommend some fireproof gloves, you’ll need them lol.
Thanks for the quick reply... I ordered the Texas Fire Grate yesterday. Going to see how that works out first than maybe add the Great Wall if I still think I will need it. Already have good gloves I use with my smoker. My wife really loves the look of your fire screen too.. Thanks again for the info...
Received the Texas Fire Grate a couple of weeks ago. Today was the first time I am able to try it out do to the weather. Boy what a difference!!!! Had to turn on the ceiling fan in the living room, it got very toasty.... Thanks Thanks Thanks for the review.
Did the fireback seem to heat up more 2 hours into it as you predicted? Or did the heat output plateau?
Absolutely I kept on building the fire bigger and bigger and the fire back really started to radiate more and more
@@WADZUP cool. I'm thinking of just going to the local welding shop and picking up some scrap flat steel that's at least 1/4 thick and cut to size of the back wall of my fireplace. Save a few hundred hopefully
@@justincredible7886 smart. The thicker the better for heat retention etc
How close is your firewall to the bricks? Really excitee about my fireframe but dont want to hurt my back bricks.@@WADZUP
Nice looking house!
Seeing those guitars near the fire place is making me want to cry! Move those babies please!! ;-)
You should mention that the heavy fireback is too heavy for prefab fireplaces
Why do you think that, more specifically? Are you referring to mounting it?
@@WADZUP i checked the great wall of fire website and they state "1 inch thick firebacks as well as some of the larger 3/4" backs may be too heavy for pre-fab fireplaces to safely support, they are intended for use in full masonry fireplaces only."
@@BabetteTurk thankfully it doesn’t require mounting, it has legs so support is moot.
Can’t be talking about the President. Later for you.
LOL
Mason stoves are a better design. As Canadian IF could ever afford to build a house it's the only to go. Although I like the rocket mass heater. Of course Trudeau doesn't like us messing up his carbon foot print.👍🇨🇦
So Putin and a war overseas had nothing to do with it! You’re right! I’m outta here.
Did I say they didn't and if you think Trudeau and Biden aren't clowns then we will just have to agree to disagree but thanks for stopping by. Chow.
Came for the fire, stayed for the politics. Two 🤡 lol. Your were talking about moving the grate wuth the gloves thay melted, correct? Or did you grab a lit log?
It would have been nice if you’d just get to the purpose of the video instead of running your mouth about politics. I’m an Independent, so it’s not the choice of political party that bothers me. Sometimes people just want to receive helpful information, absent the propaganda.
“The theory of physics” lmao
As I’m sure you already know Theoretical physics is a branch of physics that employs mathematical models, abstractions of physical objects and systems to rationalize, so yes.
Sure one could say that my comment is a bit of an exaggeration on the design but after using for a while I can confidently share that it has Genuinely made a difference. Enjoy your weekend!
“This is next level” after he uses a nylon glove to “rearrange fire” boi you aren’t too bright are you
The gloves I used were made out of wool which is naturally flame resistant, offers a greater level of fire safety than other fibres but thanks for stopping by Yoda.
Actually I double checked The Oven gloves specs and It’s Flame retardant Made of kevlar and nomex Which Withstands extreme heat up to 540-Degree F. Lol
@@WADZUP Actual flame is ~2000 degrees minimum.
@@Johnny-rj9on The point is they are not Nylon as you stated and then continued with a characterization, which is ironic. They are Kevlar. Happy Holidays Ebenezer.
@@WADZUP I'm not the same person, but they were obviously talking about the first gloves.
