@Gianna Martinez Well, yes. But what I mean is, Milo is the first gym. He only has three Pokemon (I know other channels do it with one), with pretty garbage move sets. I would try to do this, but being the idiot I am, I really do think that it would be one of the hardest challenges. Hop has many Pokemon that he put on his team throughout the game, with better move sets and stats, and doesn't only have one Pokemon type to chose from. (I'm re-reading this and its confusing. What I mean is: Milo has trash Pokemon, and doesn't stand a chance against the fire gym unless they can learn water type moves)
Awesome marnie team: Morpeko Scrafty Tyranitar Umbreon Weavile Grimmsnarl Morpeko and grimmsnarl cant be replaced since they are her signature pokemon. As for the rest she should remove that liepard really.

Marnie's hair style is now added to the game for Female Trainers who have a Style Card. 1:14 It is locked behind getting the Pokemon Box Link after first getting to the Wild Area. 5:19 You should have had it traded into your game as an Egg. That way your Marnie would have been it's OT. I think that she received it as her Starter Pokemon which makes it have her OT Number. How do I know this? I used HOME to bring my New Save Starter to my Old Save then used EXP Candy to fully evolve it and gave it the proper mints for the Nature I wanted and EV Trained it then used a Gold Bottle Cap to Hyper Train it and transferred it back into it's original file and had zero trouble with it obeying me. I did that in order to advance to the Isle of Armor quickly as well as get more Kubfu then stored it in HOME with the Gift 6IV GMAX Pikachu and Eevee you get at the entrance to the Wild Area and the Wedgehurst Slowpoke and the Starter before deleting that save and creating a new one, rince and repeat multiple times for more Kubfu.

It's nice that there was coincidentally a Grimmsnarl raid going on at the time of the challenge, but you can look up where any pokemon can appear in a regular raid den on Serebii. I used it to find a Mr. Rime in about 10 minutes.
You didn’t have to deleted ur Pokémon shield data. U just needed to add another account option to play as and select that. I currently have 4 save files of it
4:48 not sure if it's been mentioned but foul play uses the attack stat of the target when its damage is calculated. That's why it didn't really hurt much as expected for Bede's Sp. Atk inclined pokemon
It's funny that you can get Marnie's outfit and hair style in the game you can really make yourself look like her while doing this challenge if you have the style card
Marnie could easily become Champion but would need to change a few details involving her battle team, combat strategy, and training method [no I don't mean ev training]
"Spicy Fruit Rollup" LOL It's stated in-game that Kabu is so hard few people make it past him, so maybe that's why there aren't many trainers in the semi-finals. He was the first Gym Leader I really struggled with, despite having Sobble as my starter in Shield and therefore having the type advantage. I think it's because his Centiskorch is the first Gigantamax Pokémon you face in the Gym Challenge. I think I still beat him in one try but I forget how. My usual strategy in gym battles in SwSh though is to save my Dynamax turns for when the leader brings out their own Dynamax Pokémon, and then let them Dynamax first. This means they will run out of Dynamax moves before me, allowing me to take them out in a weaker state. Fairy is weak to Poison, so that's a possible strategy there. Lots of Pokémon can learn Toxic via TM. I totally took the Dark-type approach to Bede too. You can catch a Dark-type pretty early in Nickit. (Or Purrloin). I learned from Moon with Alolan Meowth/Persian the value of having a good Dark-type. Also, I agree, Power Trip isn't the *greatest* move. There are better ones. I was super into Morpeko when it was revealed, but I ended up using Yamper as my Electric type team member instead. It's available earlier, and it learns more Electric moves.
This is actually a fun idea, might try this in the old gen 5 games (not gen 6-8 cause access to pokegen makes starting with a specific pokemon MUCH easier)
As soon as you unlock the Wild Area you can go to the Isle of Armor and after literally the * first*Rival fight, you get the style card which allows you to get Marnie’s hair and clothes even before you finish the main game so yeah.
So I tried this run in sword and you were correct, bea was hard, I somehow defeated her hitmontop with some luck with a critical hit by dynamaxing my morpeko at the start, her pangoro took away more then half my health with one hit and my next attack did nothing, her pangoro beat me so then I used toxicroak and it somehow survived a hit on 32 hp I then poisoned it and eventually killed it, her sirfech’d killed toxicroak and put scraggy in the red so then I used brick break and by some miracle got in the red but then scraggy died, my liepard killed sirfetch’d and then came her machamp, that took me more then 15 tries but I did it I’m never doing that again
Everyone else: talks about the combat Me: notices how freaking *delicious* bede looks wearing ballonlea’s uniform (yeah, he looks edible asf, and he looks so dessert like that I think he tastes good enough that I could literally devour him alive and never regret it completely regardless of how I’m punished)
i wish that the pokemon company would make a game where as soon as you become champion you can travel to all other regions! I know that would take a lot of work but it would totally be worth it!
I recently started this run myself, honestly I had to cheat a little. I basically made the choice that Marnie didn't follow the recommended routes and visited either Galar Mine 2 or the Isle of Armor before starting her journey. So I gave her a level 15 Croagunk and Scraggy from the start of Route 3. It makes things so much easier in Milo's gym to have those extra poison moves.
hey vasko. i know this is about pokemon but i hope its ok that i have a splatoon suggestion. i just wanted to reach you quicker. ok so heres a strategy that i want you to try out. i got to s rank and s+rank in rainmaker because of this. i havent told anyone about it but its really good step one: equip gear that makes the special meter faster step 2: pick the sploosh o matic with the tenta missiles step 3: make sure the rest of your teamates are agressive offensive type people because this is a tactical playstyle (or just go ranked works everytime) step 4: in game the objective is not your main priority. at the start ink as much turf as you can and then go for the objective. everytime you get special use it immedietly or focus enough to get 4 people. focus for it at the starts of the round step5: if there is no more major turf to ink at base go futher up for the objective and ink enemy ink. make sure to also focus on the objective too and not just ink turf for tenta missile spam CAUTIONARY STATEMENT: ABOVE ALL ELSE DO NOT PICK CLAM BLITZ. BEST RESULTS ARE FOUND IN TOWER CONTROL AND SPLAT ZONES rainmakers fine you might not see this comment but if you do just try it out for fun! btw i wacthed all of the video and you do bring up some intresting questions
Not sure if it matters at this point, but when you were in the fairy gym, you got a crit, crits in pokemon ignore stat changes, so it might've done less damage than a normal hit after all your stat boosts

So I tried this run in sword and you were correct, bea was hard, I somehow defeated her hitmontop with some luck with a critical hit by dynamaxing my morpeko at the start, her pangoro took away more then half my health with one hit and my next attack did nothing, her pangoro beat me so then I used toxicroak and it somehow survived a hit on 32 hp I then poisoned it and eventually killed it, her sirfech’d killed toxicroak and put scraggy in the red so then I used brick break and by some miracle got in the red but then scraggy died, my liepard killed sirfetch’d and then came her machamp, that took me more then 15 tries but I did it
I’m never doing that again

In the fire gym, if you kill the three Pokémon at the gym, they respawn, so you made a mistake catching the Pokémon.

Just a heads up, foul play uses the opponent's attack stat instead of yours to calculate damage, probably why it didnt 1 hit the hatenna
You don't actually have to carch anything in Kabu's challenge. The pokemon will respawn.

i wish that the pokemon company would make a game where as soon as you become champion you can travel to all other regions! I know that would take a lot of work but it would totally be worth it!
If you do another Pokemon challenge, make sure to send over all pokemon in eggs so they obey you no matter what.

I recently started this run myself, honestly I had to cheat a little. I basically made the choice that Marnie didn't follow the recommended routes and visited either Galar Mine 2 or the Isle of Armor before starting her journey. So I gave her a level 15 Croagunk and Scraggy from the start of Route 3. It makes things so much easier in Milo's gym to have those extra poison moves.

hey vasko. i know this is about pokemon but i hope its ok that i have a splatoon suggestion. i just wanted to reach you quicker.
ok so heres a strategy that i want you to try out. i got to s rank and s+rank in rainmaker because of this. i havent told anyone about it but its really good
step one: equip gear that makes the special meter faster
step 2: pick the sploosh o matic with the tenta missiles
step 3: make sure the rest of your teamates are agressive offensive type people because this is a tactical playstyle (or just go ranked works everytime)
step 4: in game the objective is not your main priority. at the start ink as much turf as you can and then go for the objective. everytime you get special use it immedietly or focus enough to get 4 people. focus for it at the starts of the round
step5: if there is no more major turf to ink at base go futher up for the objective and ink enemy ink. make sure to also focus on the objective too and not just ink turf for tenta missile spam

Not sure if it matters at this point, but when you were in the fairy gym, you got a crit, crits in pokemon ignore stat changes, so it might've done less damage than a normal hit after all your stat boosts
If Marnie caught the Morpeko, on her own then she wouldn’t have had obey problems. I think.
