Of course, you can't possibly ever create something as magnificent as the original. No one can. But at least your remix came pretty damn close. I really missed those background vocals in the chorus that create an ego. Sorry, no knowledge on the musical lingo, but I think you know what I mean. XD
I don't think the point was to recreate it... but to make a different sound/ lighter mood. It's more alternative rock than metal so it's a bit lighter. Also sounds more like something evanescence would come out with now? Like one of their more recent albums
