Unless you are spiritual the only thing human's "should" do is procreate. As for having to provide services to others or society in exchange for the value necessary to purchase comforts, luxuries and needs, well it works out a lot more in our favor than being a hunter gatherer where you spent most of your time trying to survive. The huge boom in ability to do things like partake in art is due to the advances of the first world people love complaining about. If you don't like your job there are tons of others, if you think you are above a job start your own business, practice or freelance.

Planes will be automated. Cars will drive themselves. Medical science will be able to 3d print new livers, hearts, whatever they need. There won't be racism or prejudice because parents will be able to "designer baby" whatever ethnicity, eye color, hair color, or attribute they want for their unborn child which will do away with ethnic lineage all together. Whatever post-service-based economic society Yin was dreaming of is inevitable - just not in our lifetimes.
