I use the chickpea pasta and make a paste with chicken broth. You can turn carrots or any type of veggies into a puree to thicken up the chicken broth to make a sauce based.

Thank you for this information.. it's useful. I have never given our dogs pasta with any sauces,, But was wondering if we could add some as filler to the food we make for them ourselves.. Which is just meat and broth from cooking it.. vegetables like sweet potatoes, or butternut squash, broccoli, cauliflower.. Chia seeds.. a touch of organic apple cider vinegar..
but never any veggies or grains that vets say to avoid..
