Also the very 1st time I heard it - it was a travelling salesman who broke down, going to the farmer's house. I love how that entire story of the pig being a hero has nothing to do with the punchline. The only relation to it is the pig has a wooden leg. But that's Norm, he takes five-second jokes and hilariously drags them out forever.

Laughing and crying for that past 3 days This ones hit hard 💔
Thanks for releasing all these, Coco.
That constant smile on his face 😀. America is great because this country has witnessed the era of some of the best people born on this planet. 🙏
Norm was born in Canada tho.🇨🇦🇨🇦
Norm at his lovable best!
Keep uploading all these old Norm clips! We want every single one of them uploaded! 🙏🏼 Love you Norm, be at peace 💔🙏🏼
I first heard this joke from my dad when I was a kid. I'm 46 now, and even though I knew the punchline, I still laughed my ass off hearing Norm tell it. Legend!
Dude, Norman was awesome! He could make you laugh all the way thru the joke and sometimes he even played with the audience delivering a shitty end, maybe to show how easy for him it was. Genius.
Im so happy you guys are releasing those videos of Norm. It's so amazing to rediscover an absolute Legend of comedy allover again.
Please keep them coming!
WE LOVE YOU NORM.
Rest in peace you old chunk of coal!!
😭
Mad respect for Conan and this channel for posting all of these Norm videos.
"They better be Norm!" Cracked me up so bad! 😂😂
I have never heard his jokes until today. He was a treasure. I love the way he tells his stories. He really had a gift. Now I will have to find more so I can enjoy him for the first time. Wow, thanks for posting him.
Norm Macdonald was a great comedy legend and a pleasant face to look at everytime, he put a smile on your face and warmed your heart with his jokes.
Rest in Peace !
Probably the greatest stand in comedian thus far. He burns time effectively and gets us all engaged and ends with a good laugh in the process.
0:57 he said my name lol
That’s amazing
No way
Imagine living in his head for one day? What a trip it must have been to be him and to find the perfect career to express his talent. Ugh I wished I’d have seen him live. Still heartbroken.
Norm McDonald and Phil Hartman, two legends gone too soon. ❤️
Norm will continue to give laughter and happiness a very long time from now on. Like all the greats he will now become the legend he already was during his lifetime for those that new him and new of him.
Thanks so much for posting these Norm interviews.
He will always be my favorite ❤️
I love how he pulls off the most weirdest stories in the most funniest way. Such a talented man.
Watched it a 100 times before, know the punchline, know the whole godamn joke, but still at the end of the video realizing I have been smiling the whole video. That's Norm. the GOAT.
Already miss this guy. 😢😢
"14th September 2021 was the worst day ever" - some Hiroshima and Nagasaki survivor.
Norm Macdonald is the only person who can put me in tears from laughing just by speaking. Doesn't even need to say a joke
“Yeah I don’t know who they are but Phil Hartman’s great.”
Norm’s relentless honesty is what made him the greatest comedian ever. He doesn’t even think about it for a second he just admits he doesn’t even know anything about the musical guest on his own show 😂
I love how that entire story of the pig being a hero has nothing to do with the punchline. The only relation to it is the pig has a wooden leg. But that's Norm, he takes five-second jokes and hilariously drags them out forever.
Norm was a damn good looking man! Sounded and looked like he was from the 40's here lol. We love you and miss you, Norm. There will never be another legend like you.
Norm was one of a kind. When it comes to comedy, nobody could do what he could do. Simply the best ever! Miss you Norm.
“He was showing me his pigs, he had a bunch of pigs there, ya know, he had a bunch of pigs, uh uh a bunch of ‘em”
-Norm MacDonald
Thank you for posting all of these classics! Keep em coming. Please keep posting and even reposting once you run out. The world needs Norm
I’ve been telling this joke for years. I always try to make it a little longer and slightly more ridiculous each time. People get so mad at that punchline. 😂
Norm jokes are amazing because they're hilarious the whole way through, the punchline is almost like bowing at the end of a performance.
This is a very old story and I knew where he was going after he said "pig with a wooden leg" but he still made it funny. With Norm, it wasn't so much about the punch line as the journey getting to it.
The long ass setup is EVERYTHING. Man, Norm's delivery was epic.
Keep being victoriously jocular in your eternally peaceful rest, my Duke of Comedy, Norman Gene Macdonald 😥🙏🤟
That’s beautiful
Norm left us so much gold...
The only comedian to make me cry...
...tears of hysterical laughter AND tears of mourning...
I met him once, many years ago...he IS a legendary talent, and comedy will never be the same without him.
What an amazing dude.
🤟🌚🍻
Cheers
This is one of my favorite jokes from years and years ago, it’s great hearing Norm tell it. 😄
I heard that joke a dozen times before, it's funny, but only Norm will make you want to hear it again in his very special style...G2S
Norm foreshadowed what was to come when he dropped the hint, “I come from a long line of death.”
