  • In the latest instalment of the series, I am fitting a roverdrive, new seats, and seatbelts to my old Land Rover. Then we take it for a test drive.

Again , another item on my list .
I have the Fairy overdrive and believe it is the source of a deafening whine at 45 mph and up. I think a rebuilt is in my future.
I don’t know if you’re interested but my S2A is toward the end of
LandyAndy4X4 , Castle Air Museum part 2 video.

Been thinking about a Roamerdrive for my Series 3 for a long time now. Did you have to import it from Canada yourself?

No I think I got it from Paddocks however I don’t think Roamer have a UK supplier anymore?

Yeah, they had a falling out with Britpart apparently. Only way to get one is direct from Roamerdrive directly. Very hard to swallow the £2400 price tag after shipping and taxes. Am saving up though, may be cheaper to fly to Canada and bring one back!

I imported one earlier this year (haven't fitted it yet). It does cost, but was otherwise easy to order. It was advertised on some UK classic car part websites, but at over £3k with a long lead time. I suspect they would take your money and then order it from Canada themselves.
