After a decade of Series ownership, I can tell you it does get easier over time... unpleasant things to work on but well worth the effort for all the adventures to be enjoyed!
@@eddiesfilm Glad to have helped in some way, thank you! I enjoyed your well edited film. It was the Grafton special that alerted me to your channel- pre war motors are my day job..
Gents , can i just point out something , please correct me if i am wrong , the pressure plate eddie taken out from the land rover was it a special military grade one , i thought it looked more chunky and heavy duty , you comments on that@@steamwally
Watching with interest: Last weekend I did exactly what you show here ( But mine is a Truck Cab Series 2 mostly) so didnt fight with a roof. Had Exactly the same Battle with floor and seat boxes. Got my S2 Box out in about 4 hours. ( No Crane) ....
Just found your channel and subscribed. Last October, I bought a 1966 88” S2A. It was still being used on a cattle ranch here in central California. It’s rust free but needs a lot of TLC. It has been fitted with a Fairey overdrive. I dread the day I have to pull the gearbox. I have been told it is easier to pull the engine to do a clutch than to pull the gear box. I completely understand the frustration factor . Sometimes you just have to walk away and come back later. Best wishes. We’re in the same boat.👌

what were those blue box thingies on the hood above the wheels with the lantern looking things on top?
Hi, they're radio antenna boxes from when it was an army Land Rover.
