Well, heck!! That is always my fear that I will drop. I do the tug test, but I am always skeptical that it actually works!! Sorry to hear. Glad it isn't worse. Safe travels.
I just binge watched all your video's. Great stuff. Biggest question I have is how are you a Giant's fan being from Utah? Just wondering. Look forward to the next one. Cheers
Can you go into a little more detail. I have the same hitch. I don't see how the latching arm closed if the jaws weren't around the king pin completely.
@@01goldwinger My guess is that one of two things happened. The trailer could have been too high so when I closed the latch, the king pin was above the jaws, not inside of it…so it still closed…or, I never opened the jaws to begin with so when I backed up the king pin actually hit the jaws which were already closed. Either way, it’s an easy mistake to avoid by visually inspecting the jaws around the kingpin. I was distracted and working too fast, and I didn’t visually inspect it.
I have an anderson hitch and love it. Easy to see alinement. Also installed safety chains
OOPS, pretty dogs . 🐕
@@billhillegass946 😂 , thanks!
Thanks for putting your dogs on a leash. I live here and so many ppl think their dogs don't need leashes.

Appreciate the support! I grew up in NY and moved out to Utah after college.

It's spelled Coeur d'Alene, btw.
Thanks for catching my typo, too many vowels in a row haha
Your by the rich area. Watch yourself. Lost our bearing on way there. Idaho is expensive to live. Medium home price $800k
On more reason NOT to buy a fifth wheel.
Pros and cons to every setup, this works for me so far...but yea that's definitely a negative haha
