    And now he has passed away . I have been there several times , and he lived only a few kilometers from where I live .R.I.P , Alfred Letrud .

    He was so cute, laughing all the time. When he got stuck in one of his tree knots, that was so funny. This made me want to go out and try to make knots on some trees too. Maybe I should wait until spring though. And I really wanted to just clean up his house and his back yard, it makes me kinda sad when people are living like that. But he would probably not like it without the stuff I guess.

    I love Alfred. What a nice personality he has. (I don't know how he can live in all that clutter, however. Ugh!) I love how Alfred, Bard and Vegard were laughing almost the whole time. Who knew that tree knotting was a hobby! Life is good for Alred, it appears. Great!

    OK ,gather around,I'll tell you the story of Axel Erlandson(1884-1964)son of Swedish immigrants who in the mid 1920s started grafting and shaping tree trunks as a hobby.By 1947 he opened his "Tree Circus" to the public near Turlock ,Calif.,USA..By the time Axel passed away he had 74 tree sculptures.
    In the mid 80s a man named M. Bonfante bought 25 of the trees and moved them to Gilroy,Calif.You can find images of Axel's work by looking up Bonfante
    Gardens or Gilroy Gardens.

    Alfred seems to like to sing too. I wish that he would have sung a song with Bård and Vegard, a little tree knotting choir.
    Alfred Letrud om drikk.

    'Was ist das?' awww, it sounds so incredible cute when norwegians speak German! :DD but Alfred is looking at interesting posters while sitting on 'toilet'....

    • @MouseGuardian
      @MouseGuardian 10 лет назад +10

      The joke was that "dass" is old norwegian slang for toilet, most odten used about the outhouse!:D
      I also loved that It said "VC" and not "WC" on the wall of the outhouse!

    The start of the programme series "Norges herligste" is a take on the iconic matchbox Nitedals Tendstikker: no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitedals_hjelpestikker where x øre of the price goes to charity.
    Here is another example, this about Donald Duck: torestrandolsen.blogspot.no/2012/12/donald-landet_11.html
