A big thanks to the facebookies for all the subtitling! I admire your talent with languages and really appreciate your efforts to make these videos accessible to those who don't speak Norwegian. These guys are so funny and it's awesome catching up on all their videos. Cheers from Wisconsin!
Comments like this are what keeps me motivated :) In addition to watch Ylvis stuff :P We are a great team of people who sub, revise and sub in new languages and I have so much fun doing it :)
Mari H We do appreciate all the time and efforts it take to do the subtitles and translations. Yes, Thanks very much. You all rock!
Wow, this may be one of my favorite episodes. Bard didn't seem himself in this segment. The carpenter falling off his seat when Vegard jumped at him- priceless!
I was waiting for Bård to make fun of Vegard in those crazy costumes. XD
I think he was actually embarrassed! Bard, embarrassed!~ That may be a first!
I'm laughing uncontrollably at Vegard in that lime green costume holy crap
This was so funny! I loved the costumes. Interesting that no one was surprised or stunned to see Vegard in his freak costume at the grocery store. Loved it when the carpenter fell off his chair. Loved the way Vegard moved and dances in his freak costumes! This was fun to see, for sure.
0:23 what they are now world famous for!
lol ikr
I just love Vegard in this episode. Hilarious, this made my cry-laugh. I can't make up my mind if I like the green suit with holes in it or the one with stripes and horns, he looked hilarious in both of them. And him scaring that carpenter, so he fell of the seat... Bård looked pretty embarrassed though, I'm guessing this is one of those things that are easier to do yourself, than to watch your sibling do.
Thanks again for all your hard work with the subtitles!
"Does she wear panties" Hahahaaa,Bård oh,Bård!!!
Great subbing as usual :D was I the only person who read what her husband/partner was saying rather then just listening even though it was in English?
Thank you :) I do my best^^
you do a great job! Once I learn Norwegian I might see if I can help :D
Oh vegard, vegard, vegard. xDDD
Omg, she was cute!
And the dialect really suits her.
tusen takk, mari!!
I love that big golden bus they're driving! We've got similar one, used to be military, but sadly we don't have the windows on the sides...
Beautiful. Just beautiful :D
I think it's fun of all the one's I have seen Vegard is the one that will try out all the costumes.
vegard scaring those carpenters might have been the most tatical move in all of television history
and that´s my friends, how the idea of "What does the fox say" video appeared in their minds...
Yes, I laughed pretty hard at this, cause it sounded a bit familiar...
Bård: "I have no idea what a freakshow is".
Vegard: "It involves some animal costumes and something in the forest and stuff".
Btw,when Vegard speaks to Torstein hes saying "I take this paracet" Most of you would probably know it more like Aspirin. Small headache tablets,so you all know Vegards joke to Torstein :o) (Vegard has noooo powerset haha)
for the Americans reading this: paracetamol = Tylenol (acetaminophen)
I love this episode. Vegard was so cute and I like how adventurous he was. He also has a really nice body...the tight costumes really emphasized his butt, thighs and package.
+CrazyLikeA... You make him seem like he's some sort of meat.
@@goldengate4462 😂😂😂
Silly question, but Inotice that whenever the guys are in someone's home theyhave therlir shoes off. Is that the custome in Norway?
Thanks!
It's custome in most of Europe.
it's a custom in most of the world.
its not a custom, its just a normal thing u would do unless u want shit and piss in ur carpet
Tymah banga "A usual or habitual practice; typical mode of behaviour." Believe it or not, people in some countries like US keep shoes on while inside houses. And that is considered a typical mode of behaviour aka custom.
hahaha the way she looks at Bård when she tells him that the bedroom is upstairs... :D
btw, why is her husband speaking English?
Probably from Iceland and doesn`t speak norwegian.
I was wondering that too.
yeah,Torstein is from Iceland :o) Iceland and Norway has alot in common, but cant understand eachothers language unless we start learning it,or if Icelanders know Swedish from before. :o) Many Danish and Finnish people also has to talk English to Norwegians.
Jernet79No
thanks for explaining :)
youre more then welcome :)
Vegard lugs funny
I love the youthful intensity Vegard brings to the norges herligste series. I applaud his openness and curiosity so why use 'homosexual' in the pejoritive?
it has no meaning in norway
Theese brothers are like most young straight guys, maybe they dont think too much over what they slang out there. But i agree its a stupid thing to say. Norway has issues with gay rights too,not too long ago female-female or male-male couples could get married in this country, but just not in the actual church. But they could do so outside,if they wished. We face alot of hatred in this land too,so to think like the person above me did is being ignorant. I just simply think Vegard threw it out without thinking.... For him construction workers sounds like some beefy, muscular, not scared easily guys, not even close to have "feminine" sides about them. With that said,as you could see a girl/young woman was a construction worker too (times are changing),so a really stupid thing to say by Vegard, but i dont think he had any hostile propaganda behind it,like thousands of commentary fields on youtube has.....
Jernet79No it was allowed to marry the same sex 2009 in Norway
anyawumin its also allowed to smoke weed in Norway if the police sees you,if you are the "right" person to them (aka Snoop Dogg),while another citizen might be lawfully punished by doing the same in his own house. Far more recent then 2009,gay people were allowed to marry, but they can never do it inside a church! They are welcomed to marry on the doorsteps just outside, but once they marry inside, they are committing a "crime". So yeah sure its "allowed"! LMAO,get your facts straight! ;O)
***** Probably Sweden is the most open country, or Germany about that stuff. Norway too
Stor KLEM!
These don't have English subtitles as described. Tragic.
Trucker Hitch was epic as well.
Yes you are just too stupud to find it
Random question: does anyone know the husband's nationality?
I'm guessing Icelandic. Not sure though.
That would explain why they were speaking English, I suppose. Thanks!
LOL I like that once again Vegard is the one to dress up and act silly. I have to ask a question about the Norwegian phrase of the day: At 2:10 Bård asks if she's wearing panties. It sounds like he is saying, "Hun truser på?" but surely there are some other words in there that I'm not catching and this week everything sounds like "på" to me... or is that what he is asking?
The words are preceded by a faint "har" (since he's whispering), the sentence goes "har hun truse på?" ("is she wearing panties?")
Takk! That is so helpful!
"shod op"
I love ylvis but seeing vegard in a costume...
the green one made my day
Så dumt at Norges Herligste DVDen bare viser en brøkdel av hva som ble vist på tv.
