7-13-81 I got to see heaven for myself,, but had to come back that’s the day I realize in this life we are only passing through,, until we can go home,, God is my blessing,,
Love this song, love Jamey Johnson. He is a great singer and songwriter, and has really forged a path of traditional Country alongside both the elderly artists who now, many of have passed, and a new generation. I have really enjoyed him for many years. I would choose this for my daddy’s memorial.
Played this for my father when I lost him to cancer in 2014. It fit him perfectly ❤😢Always brings me to tears. Much Love and Peace to You and Your Family, God Bless!❤
I can't hold back my tears.. God Bless you young man. GOD IS LOVE!! I call you my brother in CHRIST!! I am thankful to GOD for your sweet presents.i was born again 1984. God came to me in a dream. HE IS ALIVE AND INCONTROL!!
Just laid my father to rest yesterday. This song really hits home. I was lucky enough to stand next to him as he took his last breath. A true blessing.
I have watched every video and read every comment to Jamey and they praise him for his lyrics and music that brought them to Jesus Christ. He is a Ambassador for Christ
Thank you for reacting to this song. My husband and I listen to this song alot after the passing of both of his parents 10 months apart. I cry every time I hear it. But it also gives us so much peace. ❤
We played this for my little brother’s going home ceremony two weeks ago. As you said he wasn’t my blood but he was family for almost 30 years. The album version with the choir behind it is pretty powerful too. I love the channel. Keep up the good work.
Sorry to hear about your dad brother I lost mine about three years ago. Mom is 92 now taking care of her don't go through a day without telling someone you care about that you love them.
i lost my dad a little over a year ago. i got a lot of regrets about that time and wish i would have done more during that time. This song brings tears to my eyes everytime i hear it. He didnt survive a heart surgery. I think the thing i miss the most is being able to just pick up the phone and say hi and lord knows i didnt do it enough while he was here.
Hay brother I'm just an old white guy there will be a day when you will breathe your last breath and when you open your eyes on the other side there will be people you've never met come up to you and say thank you for lifting me up when I was so low GOD bless
Brother, this one is gold. I'm a leukemia patient in partial remission, which is the best I can hope for. I will always have cancer cells in my blood and bone marrow, even though they aren't growing at present. One day, they will take me out. Cancer can claim the body, but it can never have my soul, for I've been covered in the blood of Jesus, and my Salvation comes through faith in Him. This song will be played at my funeral. I want souls to be saved at my funeral. I've seen it happen before, and I'm praying that God will do it again through the power of His Holy Spirit. Thank you for your review of this song! 🎵🎶🎵🙏🏼✝️
I beat cancer against all odds but I felt just like that person you were talking about near my last treatments. Hopefully that person beats cancer too. God bless!
I have asked my son to sing this for me at my funeral. I will be 60 in April and my body has broken down to the point I will probably be in a wheelchair soon. My faith and God's blessing of letting me lead music in the church I attend are what keeps me pushing forward.
We are hysterically different, we are hysterically the same. Let us love one another for love is from God. I wish all of your subscribers love and prayers. God bless. God help us.
My brother! I love your reactions. All of them. I've been watching for a while, and just recently subscribed. First time to comment. I wanted to say, I would love to see you react to David Phelps "Goin Home (live)" from 10 years ago. One of my favorites. God Bless you!
I heard this a few months after my sister died.. I could see her standing on that mountain... I was a little envious. But it's not my time yet.. I know that. This is SO POWERFUL. 🥺🥹
I lost my girlfriend to cops this time last year! It still hurts! This was the last song we shared together! She passed 2 hrs after our last conversation! Much love and prayers for you and yours!
Not too long ago we lost my uncle joe, he taught me everything i know about fishing and his last request was to have his ashes spread at his favorite fishing hole. When we stopped the boat at his final resting place i played this song and will never forget the way it touched everyone on that boat. I cast my rod in that very spot last weekend and reeled in the biggest fish ive ever caught and it brought tears to my eye knowing my uncle joe sent that fish to my line. Rest easy joe we miss you down here❤️🩹
Keep your chin up. Time can ease the pain of loss ..but it never is totally diminished. Everyone grieves and accepts loss in their own time. Acceptance is the first step . .learning to adjust I think is the final step...there is no end to the emptiness in your heart. You just slowly learn to let go. I have. You can. One day.
The wonderful after life is only for those who believe that Jesus Christ is their savior. It is SO important to believe that the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ was to save us sinners.
I love this song seen my father killed when I was only 12. He was a great man. And the sad part my father was killed for only 5 dollar's. And some miss understanding. I grew up in a small town. And grew up at a school that had colors of people had a lot friend.s and family. Not just from the blood. But good people. That was like family. My father was killed by a black man but so many people that grew up with was also my friends and family to me. Of all colors. Just be your self love from the heart. And trust in GOD. Peace to all.
We are all passing through this wicked World. To a Perfect Heaven. Thank God.

So true our new life began with death
The wonderful after life is only for those who believe that Jesus Christ is their savior. It is SO important to believe that the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ was to save us sinners.
It seems that you like songs with stories. Maybe try Metallica and the song is named One.
Gives me nightmares.
I meant copd
All this stuff about us being “different “ is a bunch of junk.
Reaching out from Canada much love❤
