This is exactly like a 30 Rock episode where Jack Donaghy insisted the staff to infuse corporate sponsorship into TGS sketches.
Adverlingus
You... realize that's how TV works, right?
(And in the case of TGS, Jack told them to plug products of the corporate owners of NBC.)
I kind of want to see a 30 Rock sketch with Chloe F as Jenna and Chloe T as Liz
This is classic upward revenue stream dynamics.
@@justjustinin207because that's what commercials are for.
Well that's a 48 seconds I'm never getting back...
I couldn't tell whether this was an ad or a sketch last night 😂
yes, it was
Me either.
It's not like you would have done much of anything with it.
It’s both
Can you tell whether THIS video is an ad or is a behind the scenes look at the making of an ad? SNL is double dipping on that TMobile cashhhhhhhh "we'll do an ad and say its a sketch! then we'll do an ad and say its a behind the scenes look at the first ad! brilliant!"
Why are there two extra videos highlighting an advertisement? The ad wasn't even remotely good.
maybe not good, but they sure get a LOT of money for it.
Brand awareness! Look! We are engaging in organic social media activity about their brand! Maybe this will subconsciously influence our next mobile phone plan decision because of this increased brand familiarity we all now have!
How do you think SNL gets made? Where do you think the money comes from to pay the actors, the writers, the crew, etc? Ads. That's honestly why TV and radio were invented-- it's not about creating great art for the sake of creating great art; it's creating art so people will have a reason to watch ads.
@@JillKnapp thanks captain obvious.
I had to make a Fraud claim against T-Mobile for taking my payment and shutting off my phone. And when I called for a refund they told me I’m SOL. So I called Fraud department at my bank. Got my refund 😊
Wow, so much thought and work behind just one skit. This is what's called hard work and determination
No. Stop. This is a mistake.
Is this why there wasn’t a Please Don’t Destroy video? 😡
Now a 3rd flick, im like is this some oind of meta self-dis?
Inspired by her *Anna Delvey* impersonation
Oh wow, this is awful.
These live ads all the networks have started doing are so lame. Colbert did one, Kimmel did one, and now SNL I guess. I dont see that strategy working long term without selling people out.
Why reposting this corporate emptiness?
because contractual obligations
Oh it's hilarious. You don't have a phone or are you a connartist? Who do you work for? ATandT
A promise is a promise
I know so gross?
Jack Donahue said to.
now I have to wait till next saturdayyyyyyyyy wtfffff lool
SNL, please don't start doing this . . . putting ads in the videos. Stay true to your craft.
Does SNL's props dept win Emmy's? Because if not they should.
Shih Tzu owners understand ❤
Bringing production value!
more officiant to build from 0, then to walk somewhere? wow
That's TeeVee. A client once rented an ultra-modern house in Venice CA for two weeks to film a 30-second TV spot. - decided mid-way that the design "didn't work" - so they built an entire traditional home inside the original house. I never found out how much all this cost , but it was a LOT
"teevee" lol
It must be a union thing. You could take the actors and a camera and a director to a location and be done in an hour. A time lapse of that would look like a tumbleweed flying by.
@@TazTalksYouListenLikely so. And it really looked as if they could have done it all in an hour or two tops when it was all complete. But craft services and wardrobe and set dressers and all were in a dizzy
@@thomaswschaller Then maybe the extra expense is worth it to have total control of the acoustics, lighting, outdoors, etc like they did in this skit. Maybe that consistency is worth an extra effort. I'm an artist and I know there is effort in getting correct color, lighting, scale, etc in an artistic project.
That dog was so cute
We get it, you're part of the team
I am here for the dog.
@@TinyWhoop not here for the ad. Here for the dog. Move along then.
Aaannnd this is why your phone service is expensive...any phone service
Chloe is going places! ⭐ 👏
Only because she's OT-6. That's right, she's a scientologist, which is sad.
@@DimJongUn I wonder if she has left that cult, if she's too scared to admit it? Leaving Scientology basically means saying bye bye to your family and friends and she might stay in for familial reasons.
I don’t understand why it’s more efficient to build the sets than visit multiple locations in person. It seems like it would be the other way around.
Possibly for permits and shutting down locations. Also easier to control the lighting on a set rather filming on location.
I also found it kind of funny. It's cheaper to build a set, then to just go there.
Wait... The multi-million dollar company builds their own set.
Plot twist 😂.
Who exactly is this for? Certainly doesn't make me respect tmobile, and destroys a lot of respect I had for SNL. Big big mistake they're making here.
Ohhhh cool, I'll cancel my tmobile contract
I like the idea of what they did in this video but it should be way longer
Hi
The only SNL product placements I want to see are from Garth and Wayne.
Great ad! But T mobile has bad service
Just curious if doing these ad spots is just part of SNL casts' duties or they are paid extra to do these if casted?
who?
🤘
This is getting embarrassing now.
Worst part its tmobile and we all know how awful t mobile is
An ad, great.
SNL is publicly traded
Boooooo Scientologist
Oddly in this episode of SNL they mentioned AI quite a bit this, skit shows you how many people will be out of work because of AI
*Chloe I'm sorry you're being pimped out. I know this was not what you envisioned when you dreamed of being casted.* Sigh
It’s extra money. I’m sure she enjoyed the experience.
4rils. Try to picture Chris Farley sinking this low
@@TinyWhoopHe did, unfortunately. He died a junkie, frothing at the mouth.
Jealous much?
@@TinyWhoopYeah, can you imagine if Farley were ever in a really famous sketch with a big corporation plastered all over it? That'd never happen. (*cough* ruclips.net/video/eYt0khR_ej0/видео.htmlsi=TAmcMLSnu-nJuqRc *cough*)
Tmobile is garbage 🗑 i had to switch
Did SNL have a partnership with TMobile or something?
They have an ongoing partnership. I believe T-Mobile also sponsors the live streams of the opening monologue on social media.
I’ve never been this early for anything! 😂
There is a reason for that.
I wasn’t too upset having to sit through this commercial 5 times last night!
Shameless
Hello T Mobile intern who has to read these comments. Your life is ridiculous.
uh...no thank you. no one asked for this
T-Mobile as a product sucks and their customer care non-existent, is perfect for modern day SNL to sell out to don't you think.
Read a book. It’ll do wonders for your grammar.
What is this? Is it supposed to be funny?
cool, I hated this
THIS video sucked. Did not see the point of it.
I agree. I thought ooh let's see how they did it. Ooh it was filmed on a sound stage. fuck me sideways as if I didn't already know that :(
Thank you for encouragement. I also do think that now second part make perfect sense as most interesting Batman movie to this day. And it is done with being consistent to real Dark Knight phenomena as best second part movie ever. And the reason for this is no one other than sexy librarian 🤩
cringe
SelliNg out. Lame.
Product tie ins have been part of SNL forever. Relax. It's fucking NBC, dude.
Chloe Fineman is a Scientologist.
This is exactly like a 30 Rock episode where Jack Donaghy insisted the staff to infuse corporate sponsorship into TGS sketches
first
Congratulations! Your parents must be so proud.
God this is gay
Beautiful Jewish Lady
Least funny skit ever
I’m in love with Chloe Fineman ❤️♥️🩷💗🫶🏻😍🥰😘😚🌹👠👠.
