- Vocalist Ray Alder comments: "I remember this show well. At the time it was the biggest crowd we had ever played for and I remember being nervous as hell before going on stage. It ended up being ok and we all had fun. But the best part was being able to see all the bands afterwards. It's one of the main reasons I love playing festivals."

Arguably one of the most underrated bands ever.
Criminally underrated dude
No argument
I think it might due to their company didn't run the band well... As no doubt, they're excellent.
They’ve always been in the shadow of bands like Queensryche and Dream Theater. I saw them in Tulsa in 2018? They played a solo show while Queensryche did a casino show. Maybe 20 people showed up. It was so sad cus they were amazing. I loved that I got to hang with them before and after, but they took a major loss financially on that show. That’s the thing about music I guess. Do you make art to make money, or to leave some kind of memory behind and the hope to inspire others after your death, and maybe in some way.. your memory/art will live on after you do. Obviously making a living off it helps, but maybe it’s more about adding grains of sand to life’s mixture of time.

Maybe I can see myself :)
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love fates but so glad they got a 2nd gutairist back... The keyboards just sound so weird and overpowering here.
I was just about to leave a comment like this.
I personally think they would sound better if with 2 guitarists and one keyboardist
wow!!!
One of the greatest progressive rock bands of our time. Unfortunately overlooked. Great back catalog you should look into it.👍🍻🤘🎵💿📀🥁🎶🎼
I always thought they were pretty popular.. 🤷
@@timbuk1126 they never got enough exposure to become a household name.
Killer!!!...🤙😎🤘
Rock it. Guys
I was there!!!!
👌

I love Fates Warning but busting out " A pleasant shade of grey " at a festival is not exactly the smartest thing to do lol. Thats like Yes going to a festival and busting out " Tales from Topographic Oceans " .........just saying . The album is awesome though .

Pleasant shade of grey is great. But a hard listen for people at a festival. Just sayin.
