Just put Amsoil on my renegade and it works so good! I immediately felt the difference and the shifting was so much smoother. Thanks for this great video 👍🏼 hope to see the renegade again.

I followed this video instructions. I just replaced the transmission fluid in my 2017 Jeep renegade. Eben was right. I got a quicker response in the transmission and it shift’s much smoother. Also our Jeep went to the dealership 4 times because it use to slam into gear. The dealership said it was normal for that to happen. Now after replacing that junk 8&9 speed MOPAR transmission fluid. The Jeep no longer slams into gear. I highly recommend replacing the fluid even if it’s new. Our Jeep only has 30k on it. Oh, just an FYI if dealerships tells you it’s a sealed lifetime fluid that’s a lie. What that means, is the lifetime of the transmission from a Chrysler engineer. He stated, if you don’t replace the fluid. You better expect to get a new transmission at 150k. Thanks again Eben!
Thanks so much Mark for sharing that with the channel!!! yeah yeah here in Las Vegas I think that transmission would be fried in 75,000 mi 😁😄😆 But what the person would do is they would trade it into CarMax at like 60,000 right before it dumps 😃 I remember when I used to work at Honda as a car salesman I would have all these different doggy scraps cars get traded in and people would be like yeah my car just doesn't run like it used to 😆😄😁
I can believe just by switching the fluid it fixed the hard/slamming shifts. It’s a huge complaint on these vehicles. Who knew get rid of a OEM junk fluid and put AMSOIL in it and it would fix it. I have been posting for people to watch this video and get AMSOIL! Don’t get me wrong I was skeptic of this video. I didn’t buy the signature fluid as you used in the video. However, the next fluid change will get the signature fluid! I am now a believer of AMSOIL now!

FYI there is a filter. You have to completely remove the transmission to get to it. I watched a mechanic take it out it was absolutely impossible to imagine doing it. The sad thing was it was completely caked with metal debris at 45000 miles on this sealed for life transmission.
There is a class action law suit against chrysler specifically regarding Jeep renegades. I believe this is why Jeep Dealerships won't open the transmission. They don't want to admit they are at fault, but worse is not providing a solution to customers who ask for their help. Thanks for sharing!
Need to do this on my 2015 Renegade Limited it has a rough bump into second gear and sometimes 3rd I’m going to start with this tho and if it doesn’t fix the issue I’m going to buy a used rebuilt transmission. From what I know tho they say not to mess with these trans cause when they’re made they’re meant to last the life of the car. But I’m having my doubts for sure sucks it doesn’t have a dip stick I think it had a little window tho possibly I haven’t looked but yea good job.👌

SO glad I saw this video ! I have a '16 Renegade 75th Anniversary Edition; 79K miles. I took my fluid to my local Bib Sumerel to see if they would put it in while up on a lift getting my tires rotated. "Sure" Got a call later, they said they couldn't do it because it's a "sealed system" and the dealer has to do it as it's "proprietary !" (They just didn't want to do it !) I watched this vid ! I changed it out in the same way, as well as my rear differential oil. It was ok before, but SMOOTH shifting for another 70k ! THANKS ! Before long I'll be a "Certified You Tube Mechanic !"
You can definitely do that however you need a lot of hens in a lot of people but yes that is a great method we did a video on that on the channel we had three people doing it.
Hello my friend I just found your channel I love the bottle slap it’s great I have a 2015 renegade same engine 42,200 mile my transmission shifts so hard in first after not so bad but I wanted to ask if I could change the fluid like you did but the Jeep would be level on the tires could I do it like that another question if I pump it in will it all pour out before I get the screw bolt back in how will I know there is enough in there. Thanks. So much keep up the great show
Hey great questions yeah it's all very simple You have a drain bolt and a fill bolt all you do is just fill it until it overflows once it stops dripping you just put the bolt on and cap it off. That's the way most transmissions are some have a dipstick some don't also you want to make sure you look up on the lookup guide exactly how much fluid it takes and as long as you're putting in exactly what it recommends you're good. There's always a little bit of leeway inside the transmission plus or minus a quarter quart won't hurt anything 😃👍💯 This is my personal link to get the Amsoil and if you have any questions before you order you can call me anytime 😊😃👍 When you use my link I would be your Amsoil dealer showing a future I can always answer all your questions in the products and I would also get the credit for your orders 😉😊😃 🎬 Professional YouLubher: Eben Rockmaker Regency Gold Direct Jobber AMSOIL Specialist (Dealer#: 5331179) 702-472-3614 ✅ If You're New To AMSOIL I Recommend The AMSOIL 6 Month PC Membership because it will save you about $33 on a $100 purchase after the difference in tax - www.amsoil.com/offers/pc/?zo=5331179
I've read over and over that the ONLY fluid you can put in this transmission is the Mopar stuff from ZF - I'm a bit of a skeptic but I'd love to hear some feedback on using different synthetic ATF brands. I usually go with Mobil 1 but it looks like according to a lot of tests this Amsoil is a superior product.
@@randyr55 Yeah it seems like Mopar revised their guidance on this likely due to public outcry regarding the price of their unicorn blood ATF. I've been running the Amsoil in mine and it has been flawless. 107K miles and she has gotten two fluid changes so far. The Amsoil fluid came out looking brand new after 40K miles so I think my second change was premature. Looks like this fluid can go 60K in the Renegade transmission without issue.
My girlfriend has a 2015 jeep renegade trail hawk with 2.4 engine, I’ve been trying to figure out if jeep did any changes between 15-17 before tearing into it
That's a good question I would double check the lookup guide and see if all the fluids and capacities are the same it looks like everything is the same most likely it is. I’m just curious could you of drained the fluid first before you opened the fill plug as so the fluid wouldn’t of went all over the floor. Or is there a reason you open the full plug first?
It's a great question Clay that one is a transmission wear sometimes it could be a little over full also the car was tilted and that's normal It can overflow out the top fill bolt If you jack it up. Also when the fluid's hot it expands so when it was really hot it overflowed. The reason I take off the fill bolt first it allows the oil to come out quicker out of the drain bolt It gives it air so instead of it gulping that also helps get little shavings at the bottom of the pan out when it comes out faster That's why I usually do that It was just the funny situation. Didn't have the pan positioned right didn't think it was going to be that full lol

Great question Carl I do not know on that vehicle this one is just a front wheel drive I believe and it's a transaxle so it's a transmission and differential all in one like most of the front wheel drive vehicles. I have not done anything on your model yet.

Hey eben, i also have a 2017 jeep renegade, same color as hers too how ironic, she's got amsoil 5w20 in her! But when i looked up the atf fluid there was an important note on amsoils site that said only to use the zf fluid.
This component is a little bit different some have a transmission filter and magnet others have no magnet some are just drain and fill this one has no filter that is in the pan like most cars it's a basic drain and fill

Yeah all you're going to do is drain and fill the coolant system with the heater on high and the fan on high that will circulate the fluid in the heater core and you can do three drain and fills that will help get most of the old coolant out and you can drain it and fill it with distilled water. Yes on the downshift it would select the wrong gear also there is a big gap between the gear change where it would rev and not hook. It was a bit choosy and a bit clunky definitely lucky we got to it early because in Las Vegas with 115° temperatures that transmission could have been Fried by 70,000 miles if the fluid was never changed

Hi Eben, great vid!! I loved it, very informative and fun!!. However, I wish to know since the Jeep compass has a 6 speed automatic transmission and the fill port is very difficult to reach thru the engine, is it ok to use the drain port to inject the tranny oil with a manual pump or is there any problems using this method?
Because most of the transmissions when you change the fluid and filter you only drop half the fluid out half is in the pan half is in the torque converter so it's always good to get most of the transmission flush out at least 90%. Since most of the time we don't do a full flush on the trans by taking off the return line and getting extra fluid that's why we decide to not use it and as long as you come back and change the fluid in a few thousand miles again the detergents and the signature series will clean it up in and it will improve the shifting.
Its not over full you have to have the vehicle level when filling it you only have the front wheels off the ground you need to have the back tires off the ground and level with the front
What are the chances of that OEM Mopar ZF fluid and Amsoil not being compatible and that whole transmission going into catastrophic failure? I know you said more would have to be drained but. I’m Being told that the Mopar 8&9 speed ZF fluid doesn’t play well with others. Can you debunk that statement?
You can mix any fluids there will not be any problems even mineral oil and synthetic. I made this video specifically on that topic. ruclips.net/video/celH6X9nbyg/видео.html
Hi Eben. Great informative video!!!. However I wish to know and sorry for the noob question. After each drain and fill, how much of the new oil is retained and how much you need to add after the last drain. Thanks in advance for your prompt response.!!
The total bill on that transmission is about 6.3 quarts so when you dream the transmission pan only about 2.7 quartz comes out. When you draining the fluid that's in the torque converter never comes out. So when you put the new fluid in your mixing the old fluid with the new fluid. The more new fluid and you mix with the old fluid the better the old fluid will become and you'll have a higher percentage of new transmission fluid in your transmission. It's best to do it until the fluid looks good once the fluid looks good you're good to go. For me a double drain and fill is fine for this car some other cars you may want to do it three times
@@Syntheticoilprotection Thanks for your prompt reply. I own a 2018 Jeep Compass with the same engine on it like Katy's and I was thinking about doing it twice maybe three times which is exactly what you're telling me. Mine is in the 27,000 miles mark and I'm trying to protect my tranny, the sooner the better so I'm guessing I'm going to need between 8 to 10 quarts, just to be on the safe side. Thanks again.!!
Yes, anytime. If you drain it once in the fluid looks really good I would just do a double drain and fill and then you can save the fluid for later in about 20 to 30 thousand miles

Is that the ‘transmission overheating’ warning light that’s on? The Jeep Renegade is Italian made junk...and the German designed Z9 transmission is even worse. I had a 2017 Latitude 4x4 and the transmission constantly ran hot...it’ll be interesting to see if the Amsoil makes a difference.
According to the vehicles EVIC sysytem, 181 degrees is above average temperature for the transmission ...if you’re looking at a clock, 12 is normal, 5 is hot...my Renegade’s transmission temperature was between 2 and 3...which indicates the transmission was running above the normal operating temperature or “hot”...the vehicles are trash...especially the 2.4L engine and the Z9 transmission...

Hey Jacob this car is a basic drain and fill There are some cars out there that there's no filter to change This is one of them a lot of the Hondas Toyotas and a lot of new CVT transmissions are all like this you'll see on my playlist on transmissions on my channel here you'll see how those are all very similar and they're all a drain and fill. The ones that have the filter you drop the pan and then you change the filter replace the gasket and then put the pan back. That's on a lot of the European cars. I don't remember I think the total fill is about 9.2 quarts. The draining the pan will take about half the fluid out so I would say it's probably around 4 and 1/2 quarts to drain the pan and then you can refill it twice if you want to do a really good switch over that's usually what I do I usually drain and fill it two or three times and go drive the car and mix up the fluid. You'll see on the lookup guide that will show the fluid and capacities for that vehicle. You're always better off getting a few extra quarts just to be safe also some years can have a little bit different size transpan so it's always good to make sure you have plenty. That was a lot more than 0.3 quart that came out from that plug. The reason so much came out, is because that plug is NOT the fill plug. The correct fill plug is above and behind that plug. A special dipstick tool is used to ensure the correct amount is inside based upon where the fluid level is on the dipstick based on the temperature of the fluid. By filling to the bottom of the plug in as in this video, you can be sure the transmission is now low. Certainly lower than before you started. I suggest you bring that lady back and fill her transmission properly before she kills it by driving it with low fluid.
Oh yeah very little came out when the fluid is hot it expands depending on the temperature the component and it's very thin so it looks like a lot came out however it did not it's kind of like a penetrating oil you can put a drop on a piece of cardboard and it saturates and spreads out the size of a dollar coin from just one drop basically the same principle with the ATF fluid. It was measured after I drained it and it is within a few ounces of what was in it just important to keep it as level as possible. That's a great question. Just depending on the component some transmissions they want you to only fill it to a certain level when it's hot it just depends on how much is in it and different variables if you cycle through the gears and stuff like that. Also if you check how much is in it you can also tell if you burned oil. I've actually seen transmissions actually use oil like the motor uses oil. Oil has a volatility and it actually burns off and becomes vaporized. Very interesting once you start doing more and more you see a lot of different things you just don't expect.

I’m receiving some conflicting information here. I have a 2018 Renegade Trailhawk with a 9 speed automatic transmission. The owners manual doesn’t call for routine fluid changes at all and a dealership just told me he’s never serviced one as Chryslers service interval doesn’t call for it. That said, I have a bit of a humming noise coming from the front. I thought it might be a wheel bearing, but it doesn’t get worse if I’m turning the wheel in any direction and the wheels seems to spin freely when it’s up on stands. So I thought it could be needing a transmission flush, but now I’m hearing two different things. Any thoughts? 🙏
This is some great information here Steven a lot could be actually happening it could be anything from a rock between the brake pads the slot in the pad can trap a rock and you can get some grinding noises you can also have some cracked polyurethane bushings that are tough to see around the sway bar and other components in the front end that could be creaking. There's a lot that it could be probably about maybe seven different parts I could think so I recommend going to someone that works on those Vehicles all the time getting their feedback and opinion. Obviously changing the fluids to Amsoil will make a huge Improvement in your vehicles driveability lifespan and performance so I highly recommend it if you plan on keeping the vehicle I personally would change everything if it was mine but you still need to figure out where the noise is coming from👍 ♥️ Find The Right Fluids For Your Vehicles - www.amsoil.com/guides/?zo=5331179 ✅ Save 25% On Your Next Fluid Order: www.amsoil.com/offers/pc/?zo=5331179 ♥️ See Fluid Performance Tests - www.amsoil.com/performancetests.aspx?zo=5331179 ✅️ Buy Me a Coffee - www.buymeacoffee.com/YouLubher

You don’t use the mopar brand fluid? I think they cost $29 each quart. I was told to keep it mopar fluid?? What should I use? I have a 2015 renegade trailhawk 9 speed automatic transmission. Probably like her renegade. I read that mine uses 6.5 quarts of fluid. I thought doing the flush is bad? I want to change out my tranny fluid but I don’t know if I should do it or have the dealer. Dealer will charge $800 because they use a machine that supposedly sucks out every drop of fluid inside the transmission. Or it’s $250 for the job you did in the video. Hi Eben, I have a question for you about changing the ATF fluid in my 2010 Honda Accord. The car has 137K miles and after looking at the service manual, it says it should have been changed at 90K. The transmission still shifts very well and there are no issues. My concern is whether or not I should change the fluid at this point since it is ~47K overdue and if I would create more issues by changing it now. Thanks for any help, Scott.
If it was my car I would change it ASAP with Amsoil Signature Series I would do a double drain and fill and then come back in about ten thousand miles and do another one and see what it looks like if it looks a little on the dark side I would do another drain and fill in till it looks really nice and clear. The detergents in the Amsoil Signature Series will really really clean up the clutch and it'll clean a lot of the carbon out of the trans and it'll shift a lot faster and it'll be a lot smoother. That's what I would do if it was my car.
Thanks so much Mark for sharing that with the channel!!!
yeah yeah here in Las Vegas I think that transmission would be fried in 75,000 mi 😁😄😆
But what the person would do is they would trade it into CarMax at like 60,000 right before it dumps 😃
I remember when I used to work at Honda as a car salesman I would have all these different doggy scraps cars get traded in and people would be like yeah my car just doesn't run like it used to 😆😄😁
I can believe just by switching the fluid it fixed the hard/slamming shifts.

Lol, I believe it if we didn't get to this Transmission in another year for transmission would have been wrecked
There is a class action law suit against chrysler specifically regarding Jeep renegades. I believe this is why Jeep Dealerships won't open the transmission. They don't want to admit they are at fault, but worse is not providing a solution to customers who ask for their help. Thanks for sharing!
😉, yeah that sounds correct I'm sure there's some some something that's not right.

Welcome to synthetic oil protection my name is Isaac, well hello eben when are you changing oil on a prius
That's a great question I'll put a post up on Facebook and try to find one
Happy Thursday Eben!!!

Good stuff
Keeping the transmission fluid fresh and protected!
There's always a little bit of leeway inside the transmission plus or minus a quarter quart won't hurt anything 😃👍💯
This is my personal link to get the Amsoil and if you have any questions before you order you can call me anytime 😊😃👍
When you use my link I would be your Amsoil dealer showing a future I can always answer all your questions in the products and I would also get the credit for your orders 😉😊😃

Nice Video!
Hey Trevor this will give you a good idea of how they flow at cold temperatures - ruclips.net/video/wGHolrBDiYQ/видео.html
Trevor, the manual actually says "Mopar ZF or equivalent". I would say that Amsoil qualifies.
All do respect. But why wouldn't you have a drain pan ready? Or drain to the second drain first and the first second?
I lose my mind in the heat. I forget small things like that😄
104 to 113 every day😄
My girlfriend has a 2015 jeep renegade trail hawk with 2.4 engine, I’ve been trying to figure out if jeep did any changes between 15-17 before tearing into it
That's a good question I would double check the lookup guide and see if all the fluids and capacities are the same it looks like everything is the same most likely it is.
Also you can always ask a technician and see what they say if they change the mid model year.

Does the renegade use any crush washers that should be replaced while doing the fluid change?
I don't recall it's been a while but I think it did not have one or it was not damaged. If a Crush Washer is damaged you have to replace it
I’m just curious could you of drained the fluid first before you opened the fill plug as so the fluid wouldn’t of went all over the floor.

If you drain the fluid before having fill plug out, what if you have a problem with the fill plug coming out? One step ahead.
I measured the fluid that came out and it is exactly what went back in and per what was on the lookup guide on the inside website.
Good to know there's a different fill spot thank you for sharing that with my RUclips Community.

wait; is this a front drive only? no transfer case? fill to the edge is how I do transfer case and diff; my trans fill is on top of the case; 2015 trailhawk questions
Great question Carl I do not know on that vehicle this one is just a front wheel drive I believe and it's a transaxle so it's a transmission and differential all in one like most of the front wheel drive vehicles.

Hey eben, i also have a 2017 jeep renegade, same color as hers too how ironic, she's got amsoil 5w20 in her! But when i looked up the atf fluid there was an important note on amsoils site that said only to use the zf fluid.
Yes that's the fuel efficient ATF fluid you'll see it there on the lookup guide
@@Syntheticoilprotection is this a new fluid from amsoil? Is it safe to use in the ZF transmissions?
If so, i guess at 60k i'm going to have to "feel her up" haha
Not sure which fluid you're talking about?
You do know you are using the wrong oil right? Renegades require 0w20.
Gas additive cannot clean the valves on a direct injected motor.
The 2.4 liter in the renegade regular injected non GDI system.
What about transmission filter? Is there no transmission filter? So confused now..
This component is a little bit different some have a transmission filter and magnet others have no magnet some are just drain and fill this one has no filter that is in the pan like most cars it's a basic drain and fill

Hi Sir, good evening. How do you change the coolant
Most likely you're going to have to pull the main hose off you'll need a hose pick.
I could not find the drain valve on the car on her model.
It may be different on yours
@@Syntheticoilprotection Thank you so much for answering my question Sir. I’m gonna search for those words because I have No idea at all when it comes to parts and cars. I wanna learn so I’m looking for a mentor like you very professional, knows technically and mechanically about cars.
Sir if you don’t mind can I ask a guide to a step by step process of changing my coolant. Highly appreciated with Thanks. Jeep renegade 2017 Latitude.
Yeah all you're going to do is drain and fill the coolant system with the heater on high and the fan on high that will circulate the fluid in the heater core and you can do three drain and fills that will help get most of the old coolant out and you can drain it and fill it with distilled water.
This video on my personal car will show all the steps and then after you get it nice and clear you can put in the concentrate which I recommend the Amsoil low toxicity biodegradable coolant it's the white bottle watch this video will show exactly what you're doing.

Was it shifting hard or oddly before this ?

The way I did it was fine with a hand pump.
Do you think I can use the drain hole to fill it up?
It's a good question I really haven't tried that......lol
Let me know if it works😃
@@Syntheticoilprotection I have heard of other people doing it with good results but I don't know if it'll work on the compass!!
Just an fyi, the mopar 8+9 speed fluid isnt red. It is already a dark brownish green color that looks like old fluid it's new.
I love the videos! Can you please do a video on a Jeep Renegade Coolant Flush/Change please ? Thank you !
I would like this as wel
Eben, why is it that you don’t use the Engine and Transmission Flush on the transmission?
She has glasses like my mother in 1981 👍
What are the chances of that OEM Mopar ZF fluid and Amsoil not being compatible and that whole transmission going into catastrophic failure? I know you said more would have to be drained but. I’m Being told that the Mopar 8&9 speed ZF fluid doesn’t play well with others. Can you debunk that statement?
You can mix any fluids there will not be any problems even mineral oil and synthetic.
I made this video specifically on that topic.
ruclips.net/video/celH6X9nbyg/видео.html
Thanks man for being a part of the channel ☕
Hi Eben. Great informative video!!!. However I wish to know and sorry for the noob question. After each drain and fill, how much of the new oil is retained and how much you need to add after the last drain. Thanks in advance for your prompt response.!!
Each one is about 2.7 quarts is what comes out every time you drain it
@@Syntheticoilprotection How much of each quart stays in every time you refill it then until you get it to where it's supposed to be?
If you drain it once in the fluid looks really good I would just do a double drain and fill and then you can save the fluid for later in about 20 to 30 thousand miles
where can one buy this oil?

Hello how many miles were on the Renegade about please?
I think when we got to it it had like low $28,000 miles
I think it's got 30 something on it now
Is that the ‘transmission overheating’ warning light that’s on? The Jeep Renegade is Italian made junk...and the German designed Z9 transmission is even worse. I had a 2017 Latitude 4x4 and the transmission constantly ran hot...it’ll be interesting to see if the Amsoil makes a difference.
Oh yeah the transmission has already made a huge difference after changing the fluid
She didn't have any warning of any overheating at all even since she had it
According to owners manual exterior bulb failure.
Normal operating temp is 180 to 190. What are you considering "hot"
I have the same car and need my transmission fluid changed. I don't trust just anyone doing it though. Would I be able to pay you to change mine?
Of course you can order everything right here through my link if you have any questions let me know you'll see the 6-month PC number and then the look up guide in the upper right hand corner gives everything for your year make model engine size.
When you use my link I'll get the credit for your order and I'll always be able to answer all your questions in the future on the products.

Just curious did you replace the filter as well?
Hey Jacob this car is a basic drain and fill There are some cars out there that there's no filter to change This is one of them a lot of the Hondas Toyotas and a lot of new CVT transmissions are all like this you'll see on my playlist on transmissions on my channel here you'll see how those are all very similar and they're all a drain and fill.
The ones that have the filter you drop the pan and then you change the filter replace the gasket and then put the pan back.
That's on a lot of the European cars.
Thanks for being a part of my channel and if you're thinking of trying the Amsoil this is my personal link that would save you about $33 off on $100 order because of the 25% discount also you'd have the free shipping on any order 100 bucks or more also when you use my link I would be your Amsoil dealer I could always answer all your questions on the products and I would also get the credit for your orders.

@@Syntheticoilprotection The only reason I asked is because I’ve had several dealerships tell me that they can’t just replace just the fluid they have to replace the filter. But I was reading my jeep renegade manual and it says that that’s not needed
Another great video love the kitty kat by the way
I think it's rear crank oil seal
Awesome do you think you have to take the motor out to get to that?
@@Syntheticoilprotection we needed to remove transmission
Just replace a crank oil seal both front and rear.
In extremely I retested in buying these products from you for my Jeep Renegade. Can you do a follow up video to the Jeep Renegade. I am about to hit 45k miles on my 2017.
We did you'll see the follow-up video in the playlist on that vehicle and I would definitely do the fluid if you could you'll notice a big difference in shifting
Amsoil VS royal purple ATF for the renegade. Price is similar. Any thoughts on this? Have a 2015 renegade trailhawk I need to do this on.
Hey Justin Yes the products are very different One is 100% synthetic has a much higher film strength you'll have a lot better cold flow shifting your transmission will last longer with the Amsoil better film strength better fuel mileage much extended transmission life.

What was the total quantity fluid needed for the whole service?
I don't remember I think the total fill is about 9.2 quarts.
The draining the pan will take about half the fluid out so I would say it's probably around 4 and 1/2 quarts to drain the pan and then you can refill it twice if you want to do a really good switch over that's usually what I do I usually drain and fill it two or three times and go drive the car and mix up the fluid.
You'll see on the lookup guide that will show the fluid and capacities for that vehicle.
You're always better off getting a few extra quarts just to be safe also some years can have a little bit different size transpan so it's always good to make sure you have plenty.

It shows zero, no alternative ? The fluid is expensive from the dealer
I would call technical support and ask them at Amsoil 18009565695
There are a few cars that have specialty oil that Amsoil doesn't make I think the I think there's some Martinez and the transfer case of the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT that are special and you have to get it at the dealership but I would call technical support and just ask him ask for technical support

Awesome 👍😎
Car shifts better than brand new now less vibration if you ever want to try the fluids this will give you the best value as 6-month PC member and when you use my link that would allow me to answer your questions in the future as your independent Amsoil dealer🇺🇸💯

Why would you measure how much fluid came out, when you just go ahead and fill until new fluid starts to come out?
That's a great question.
Just depending on the component some transmissions they want you to only fill it to a certain level when it's hot it just depends on how much is in it and different variables if you cycle through the gears and stuff like that.
Also if you check how much is in it you can also tell if you burned oil.
I've actually seen transmissions actually use oil like the motor uses oil.
Oil has a volatility and it actually burns off and becomes vaporized.
Very interesting once you start doing more and more you see a lot of different things you just don't expect.
It been 63 thousand miles since I bought it and I haven’t changed it until now wish me luck 😬

Is this amsoil atf a good replacement for suzuki at aw-1 ATF ?
If it meets and exceeds the spec it should be listed on the specification sheet here on this link double check it and if it does meat that specification it will be a whole lot better than what came in that vehicle because it's 100% synthetic.

Obviously changing the fluids to Amsoil will make a huge Improvement in your vehicles driveability lifespan and performance so I highly recommend it if you plan on keeping the vehicle I personally would change everything if it was mine but you still need to figure out where the noise is coming from👍

Is there a reason you arent changing the filter? I'm at 42k miles and I'm considering changing the filter however I feel it might be over my head.
A lot of the newer Transmissions like Hondas and CVT transmissions do not have a filter basically they're a basic drain and fill.
Just depends on the vehicle

I just don’t wanna break my Jeep lol. But I also don’t wanna spend $800. Btw thank you for making this video!! You are the first one I found who changed the transmission fluid in a renegade. Looks easy I guess.
