- REPLAY: French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday said the leaders of both Russia and Ukraine had committed to honouring the Minsk accords. "We have now the possibility of advancing negotiations," Macron told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy during a news conference after the two had held talks in Kyiv.

Rather than wait for the French to come to the Ukraine, why wouldn't Russia bring the war to France, so they aren't bombing relatives in the Ukraine? The gathering French troops in Eastern Europe are in contrast to the German lethal aid stand. The German economic power is more useful than troops or howitzer cannon delivery. Ukraine has over 2,000 towed and self propelled artillery pieces now. Pointing East mostly. 👉 The UK supplied 2,000 shoulder fired anti Tank weapons.1 for each 6 tanks in the Russian Army! France is an original signatory and one of two countries that agreed, EIGHT YEARS AGO, to oversee the Minsk peace agreement to solve the internal Ukraine conflict (persecution of indigenous peoples in the Donbass region of Ukraine). French officials have not done what France agreed to do. In fact, they have sat and watched the persecution and human rights violations continue, neither urging Ukraine to abide by the peace agreement nor even calling Ukraine out on the world stage. So, Macron's sudden affection for Ukraine and desire for peace can very well be put into question.
That said, Macron fully realizes that unbridled NATO expansion is detrimental to Russia and to Europe. As such, he is finally taking serious Putin's request that France and Germany finally do what they agreed regarding the Minsk Protocol. Macron is taking this seriously because he sees the potential for Russia to take the larger chunk of its business eastwards instead of continuing to deal with hostility, broken promises, and war-mongering coming from its west and far west side.
Good job Mr Zelinsky! Great Leader! I think you have the power to take Ukraine to a better place in Europe!

Who ever speaks Slavic languages knows that Ukraine name is telling us what actually Ukraine is and creation of this ”Country” is nothing more but group of Slavic people who decided to be independent from Russian empire. Name of Ukraine is direct evidence of its creation of the country. Question is why Ukraine had right to do long time ago what Donetsk and Luhansk don't have right to do today ?
In regards to security threats to Russia and NATO expansion, I'm on Russias side, they have been threatened with more and more military presence of the U.S lead military power extension.
But your statement is nonetheless poppycock... Just like Finland, Ukraine was a land gained by Imperial Russia, but just like in Finland, Ukraine had a distinctive ethnic group already populating that land.
In the Communist revolution, Finland declared independence while Ukraine was absorbed into the Soviet union... This does not mean that they suddenly became Russian... Just like the Finns would not have suddenly become Russian had Finland suddenly been absorbed into the Soviet union.
Just like Finnish people, Ukrainians have a right to having their own nation, sovereignty and secure their territorial integrity.
As to Donbass, It's not such a simple situation, Sure there's Russians there who wanted to become part of Russia, but there's also Ukrainians there who do not want to become part of Russia.... And increasingly, the Russian population is disillusioned with how it was handled, Ultimately Russia used them to keep a civil war alive and thus prevented an easy Ukrainian membership into NATO... Whenever the Russian separatists started loosing ground, Russia sent covert troops and equipment to balance things out, then they left again...
They could have instead fully invaded and secured Donbass just as it was done in Crimea, But they wanted Crimea secured under Russian control, Donbass on the other hand, serves a better purpose as a continuous battle-zone.
The only way conflict in Donbass will end, is when Russia is satisfied with guarantees that Ukraine will not join NATO, after this Donbass will serve no purpose to Russia.

If Russia decides to attack, it will suffer huge casualties and from every corner they will be shot at. Messing with Ukraine will destroy Russia and cause its collapse.
@@orestmakar8562 Lol. No offence but manpower means absolutely nothing in face of a military superpower with modern capabilties. Ukraines army is pretty much subpar in terms of equipment. In case of a miltary conflict. Ukraine will be flattened in matter of 2-3 weeks and probably just surrender or the government will be revolted. You could bring billion people and it wont make any difference. You are deluded if you think Russia will suffer huge casualties and collapse. Russia didnt even collapse at some of the worst times in history during ww2
