Looks proportional to the gun. DonnyFL recommended the Sumo for my 2240, but I think it would be too large. I really need the gun to be quiet so Im anxious to get your thoughts on how well it suppresses the sound. Also what scope do you have mounted on this gun? Thanks for posting this vid.

I can't say how it will compare with the SUMO overall but looking at the specs on it, the Tanto's more compact and less expensive. As far as mounting it on the 2240XL, the Tanto balances very well & is narrow enough that I could have gotten away with a dovetail mounted version of the site I used. Which by the way is a Center Point (Crosman) Multi-TAC sight.

What is the black grid bench mat you have. I have seen a bunch of other RUclipsrs using that that would be great on my bench

Im new to the 2240XL. Can you recommend a rail and a red dot for the 2240XL. I want it to fit and work right the first time. Thanks.

I have video's on the two mounts I've used on this pistol in the Accessories Play list. Originally I used a Crosman/Center Point Red Dot but found it a bit heavy. Currently I'm testing an inexpensive reflex style red dot site I purchased from Amazon and should have something out on that soon. It seems like light weight and an adjustable dot that good brightness for sunlight are important when choosing.

Is this the Tanto the .177/.22 or the .22/.25 version?

Donny recommended the 22/25 for use with the 2240XL so that’s what I bought.
