As someone who was on this team and skated this program, it's so disappointing to see a version circulating without the audience support. The audience at this competition was a career standout for all of us, and anyone who understands this sport and athleticism would understand that.
I remain curious as to why the olympics has those "go straight and absorb bumps" "snowboard cross - the MOST BORING thing one can ever do on a snowboard, while NOT having synchronized skating.
Not to shabby overall only a couple of missteps * which is why you will never see me doing something like this , I have neither the Grace nor Coordination to get up on a pair of ice skates. Brava Ladies WELL DONE.
They just happen to have a mixed team :) It's not too common in synchronised skating but it happens. It's such a small sport that there aren't any separate competitions for all male teams, and actually there are so few male synchro skaters that there aren't many all male teams in the world to even begin with.

This is new to me and I really enjoyed seeing it. What is the reason for the one male dancer?
