I used to be one of those “no way a car can cost that much to build!” guys. After seeing the absolute focus you guys have on quality and attention to even the smallest details, I now understand! Amazing project that I can only dream about!
I really appreciate the effort Troy puts into body work this is basically a top end show car quality build that’s going to run 5’s. This car is worth every cent it costs to buy

Yeah when Jerry's (Monza) car "Bad Attitude"was revealed my jaw hit the ground..Car is stunningly beautiful. From the inside to outside just perfect.One of the most well thought out racecars I have ever seen

This is the single most interesting fab/build project I've ever watched. The engineering how's and why's have been entertaining and educational.
It's kinda too bad that Cleetus has all but eliminated build content and has become more showy. Still a great channel and person though.
@@babaluto Cleet's channel is focusing on what they're good at, Straight Goof'n. But in that transition that are helping us find new 'build channels' to support. These guys, Steve Morris, the fiberglass body people... It turned out well for us and these other builder/creators. Remember when Cleet tried to help Jeremy from faster proms?

I just have to say.... i absolutely love how these guys can ask eachother questions about what they are doing and actually take the other guys suggestions instead of just doing their own thing on their portion of the build... this is a top tier work environment.

I knew a huge amount of work went into building one of these cars but i didnt truly understand how meticulous the craftsmanship is. Its a very precise sculpture thats made to go 0-230mph in 5 seconds. Really impressive stuff.
Too many people see 1 hour car shows where its done and driving with 3 commercial breaks. What shocks me is how fast this is coming together. I own a shop doing motorsport electrical and I couldn't build out harnesses for this car in the amount of time they have built a roller.
Great metal work from a master . Hope the youth gets into this kind a stuff and keeps it going.
I don't know what we're gonna do for skilled tradesmen when these guys retire, love this channel.and watching masters at work

The abilities combined with how they work together is awesome. There's spats in every shop but seeing people work together is awesome.
The way the motor plates work, reminds me of how open-wheel racecars use the motor as a stressed member of the chassis, only here you're gaining torsional rigidity to keep the front end aligned and keep the car straight.

It’s crazy to watch masters of their craft all working on the same project and nailing every detail. It’s usually one guy who knows what he’s doing and 3 guys screwing everything up.

Something I've always found interesting is stitch welding. See it a lot in draft cars to make stuff more sturdy. Js it would be a nice final touch.
I don’t know much about fabrication and I’m a little surprised at how analog the process is and how a lot of it is just done freehand. I kinda thought there would be some CAD involved and more precise measurements than “15 3/8 inches”, especially for a car with 5000hp. I thought they would start with the engine measurements and build motor mounts and trans mounts and build the frame to fit those measurements. It’s a fascinating process and these guys are masters of their craft.
