You forgot Marisa's sprite, wherein on her normal and high HP sprite, she is using her right hand (her weaker hand according to the support conversation in Sacred Stones) but if she is on critical Attack Sprite she is using her left hand (her stronger hand) but great video!

I’m sad the whole cast of Fates and Three Houses never got official artworks like these, they’re so beautiful in my opinion
Ikr they're GORGEOUS
i just really love how the armor for the hidari artwork is all banged up and dented, like the people aren't new to combat, they're seasoned veterans
To be fair, a seasoned veteran would know that walking around in dented armour isn't a good idea
They're the resistance, I don't think they really have the resources for that, I mean they're base is a monster infested lair
If I knew Shanaan's damaged art was like THAT, I would've pulled for him.
To me, the best illustration in feh is the damaged zelgiu's one, over the fact that he is very well drawn, you can notice a little smile on his face, just like when he was fighting Ike in the tower, showing how much he was enjoying his final fight against that kid he left alive when Greil died
And it fits, considering every other time he shows up in RD enemies can't touch him & he eviscerates them in return. All he wanted was a challenge.

One time I drew a picture of Marisa dabbing and used her render for my reference, got to learn first hand how hard it is to draw a typical Fire Emblem character. Never disrespected the artists at Intelligent Systems after that, say whatever you will about the games, but we can all agree that they make some damn good art. And if you disagree then I implore you to try and recreate some of their art, please, just try, I'll be waiting
Just pointing out that Tana's heroes artwork makes her skin darker and makes her face more energetic while her sacred stones portrait has white skin and a more typical anime face.
I will try to comment all the Easter eggs/refrences/titbits about designs from Feh, hopefully you don't mind. I will try to cover most of the OC heroes because I don't have all of them, so be sure to share some titbits about designs in replies.Also, I might be wrong about somethings so you can reply about it. Here it goes :-
ALSO SPOILER ALERT
Fjorm - In her default design, we can see that her cape has some dirt on it, probably refrencing as how she was in a battle just before we got her.
Eir- I just noticed that her default pose is same as silque from Shadows of valentia, which kind of fits her as in game, she provides passive healing with her default skills. She has this sad expression on her face, which is related to how she is hel's "daughter", and how her "kind and caring mother" changed, even killing her several times just because She(hel) gets more powerful as someone dies, at least in feh lore.
Surtr- I don't have him, but I have seen his ephidet through story mode. His design really fits him, as he is not someone who has any noble goal, or really any actual goal. He just wants to conquer everything and live forever. He is just a tyrant. He also has this scary yet confident look. Pretty fitting since we cannot even damage him(no matter what is your unit's level is) until later chapters.
Hel- From what I've been told, her design itself is a reference to hel spell's animation in Fe4. She sits on a throne, and like other prominent residents of hel(the world) her skeleton can be seen. Although unrelated, her finishing animation (where she attacks a foe and she kills that foe without activating any special which trigger her quotes) she opens up a portal(Presumably to hel) and bunch of skeletons come out to attack her foe. It could be seen as hel dragging her foe to her world.
Líf and thrasir- I'm covering both of them because they are pretty similar designs. Both of their faces are masked, either because theirs faces have lost skin in that area or they really want their Identity to be hidden. WELL HERE'S A PRETTY BIG SPOILER WARNING, as we later learn Lif and thrasir are alfonse and veronica from another world. Lif's pose,like alfonse is rather calm. Thrasir's pose almost screams "You pathetic little being, why did you summon me, you are not worthy enough to look directly at me, I will always look down on you" But may be that's just me, but her pose does seem to have that royalty thing where she still seem to have her pride.
Freyr- One of the good guys of book 4.He has this "old" looking art. It kind of fits him as he is more benevolent than her sister. He is also the king of dreams, which pretty much means that he is a God. His design gives off this impression that he is a wise good natured man, and he really is.
I will probably continue tomorrow If I could remember about it.

From playing Fire Emblem for years I can wholeheartedly say this video was a long time coming. Tellius being my second favorite iteration as you can literally see the growth between games

My favorite render is Death Knight's damaged pose- you can see his grinning face beneath his breaking helmet, like he's having the time of his life staring death in the face. Plus, you see a glimpse of the man under the mask without giving anything away. Feels great to watch.

The renders of fire emblem are perfect ( and that causes me to buy thos cipher cards for hundreds of dollars) but i really miss the powerfull animations the gba had.
The new ones are not bad but the gba animations just had something special.

Fire emblem echoes artwork are the best, just the way they stand conveyed a more refined personality and the clothings are so unified and show a cohesive culture where each character came from.

I really miss the GBA battle animations. They just had something and for the most part many of the 3D ones just haven't been able to be as good imo. Also Hidari's art is my favorite out of all of them. I like Three Houses but Hidari's art is just 10/10. So Three Houses is my close second. I started appreciating Kozaki's art more in Feh with a lot of the OC characters he made and hecc Brave Camilla just looks nice. But I still prefer the GBA and Ike games art over the Kozaki art mostly cuz of bias.
I wish we would have gotten renders for everybody in 3H.

Is he wrong though? I found Fates to look really beautiful for a 3ds title; I would go as far as saying it is the best looking 3d FE.
I am assuming presentation refers to graphics + Music + other tidbits; which I thought Fates did great in this regard.
@@Danitron904 I could not disagree more with the concept of it being the best looking 3d FE; PoR and RD are both miles ahead. The big-headed models of the Fates characters are an eyesore imo.
