Porsche Gateway Control Unit / Module FUSE #40 RESET
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 7 июн 2018
- My 2008 Cayenne had a periodic error on the multi function screen warning "oil pressure monitoring failure".
It was suggested I reset the Gateway Control Module by pulling fuse #40 and replacing. That fixed the issue!
The root cause is likely a ground issue. A ground that is shared with the ignition coils is likely bad.
But for now, the problem has yet to reoccur.
*WARNING* pull fuses at your own risk. This is merely a demonstration video showing what I did. You are responsible for your own car and I do not recommend you do anything shown in the video.
It worked! My man!!! OMG you saved my 2004 Cayenne Turbo!
Thank you
I had 5 gateway faults + chassis failure + psm abs failure and this fixed everything thanks so much! Cayenne 2008 S faults 1826, 532, 1310, 471, 15582, 15583. Car had sat in the garage and the battery died - faults showed up once it started.
So that one fuse fix your problem cause my cayenne say all
The same Psm chassis falure
Where is the fuse for the power steering on my 2008 Porsche Cayenne Turbo
My 2007 3.6 had an inexplicable no crank, no start issue. Battery and everything else worked. So I started pulling and checking fuses.
There was no fuse in the 40 slot, so I inserted a 5A fuse there and the car started. Totally weird. And I'm trying to find out that that fuse actually does but your video is in no way relevant to the issue I experienced so I'm just even more confused 😂
welcome to porsche. confusion
It's really worked!!! Thanks Buddy !!! Tumbs up.
I’ve changed my battery and my screen went off! Do you know by any chance how to fix it?
Sultan Sindi I also have the same problem
You did that with car off and no key in?
How about the 2011 3.0L diesel turbo 92A porsche cayenne gateway reset fuel number?
Thankssssss
I have 2005 Cayenne 3.2L V6. It s warning to oil pressure too low. I changed oil and oil filter (5w 30 mobil1 esp - mann oil filter) but I still have a warn then I changed oil sensor but still have warn. I will change air oil saperator diaphragm and if it s still give warning, I will try to reset it. Engine is working good so I m not thinking to change oil pump.
worth a try. The fuse trick may help for a while.
@@gregs_garage Thanks Greg I will follow to you for other tricks :)
Hello ramazan! The trick works in your case?
I think that I am having similar issue. Quick questions, when you pulled the fuse out, was the car ignition ON position? Thanks
needs to b off
After the pulling the fuse out, what do I have to click?
and should I pull the fuse out while the car is turned on?
Is it same for Porsche Cayenne 958 (2013) ?
I have problem "all wheel drive system fault" once i change the battery
Try it. I think they are different
Greetings. did you find the ground that you suspected as a root cause? Any misfires in the upper revs (5500+)
no. sold it. Junk.
Google trasmasya ?
is this trouble also related to the tpms fault "system not active" on cluster after ignition off and on
Pabs pabillo jr I have the same question
