Porsche panamera 4s errors. PSM failure, chassis failure, all wheel drive system, start stop mode deactivated.
    -----Update: 10/10/16
Turns out it was half the engine controller dying? I don't remember the exact part but basically, everytime I started the car, half the engine was not starting correctly or at all, causing all sorts of faults and PSM faults. It was explained to me by Porsche of Monmouth in NJ that it will continue to happen more and more often until the part actually dies and then it must be changed. I opted to get it fixed because it was annoying.
I complained that I sent the car in multiple times for this issue, to different dealerships, but they would not reimburse me. It cost about $2600 to fix, and multiple complaints to Porsche corporate came back as it not being an issue they've documented by the dealership all this time before. Total BS.
Shortly after I got this fixed, maybe 3 months, my AC blower fan went... WHAT?!? Yes, there were no fan controls at all, whether it was heating or cooling. So, after that was fixed, I complained again. Nothing resolved except me paying for the full repairs. Out of warranty.
Then my driver side door LOCK wen bad. It chirped when you hit the button on the door or pushed the remote to lock the doors, but if you went up to the door without the keys, and pulled the handle, it unlocked! Yes, the alarm did go off but it still unlocked! Even with an audible alarm, it gave theves enough time to go in my glove or center console, or even my trunk if needed be. About $400 to fix the door lock, I believe.
All in all, an expensive experiment on the Porsche design team for me to be the guinea pig.
Love the car, but wish there was some sympathy for me. I'm sure there is a PSM update to fix a few of the annoyances of the car, but it seems from looking on google, you have to pay for any updates. I'll save the money for the next car.
--- Update: Oh yeah, new front and back brakepads were installed last year (2015) and new front and rear wheels installed this year (2016)
Runs well now, but expensive repairs.
Lastly, just 2 weeks ago, the driver side windshield button broke! It flew out when I clicked it. I've inspected it and one of the plastic legs with a nub on it has broken, I believe. I pushed it back in and it works fine but you have to be really delicate on it so it doesn't pop back out, which it has done a few times. Requires you to pull over to look for the button to snap back in to close the windows again. Annoying.

I have a same issue on my Cayenne, so far $1200 spent. I changed all four speed sensors, one of the wiring harness was damaged, and I changed it. I flushed all the differentials and transmission with genuine Fluids. I did all the work myself that is the reason why the cost is low because it is only for parts. Now I have same issue P0503 is the main code. I studied a lot and found out the there are bunch of wires under the driver seat close to the door panel. It has all the wires going towards ECU. They get corroded over the time. It is a common issue with Porsche. Also the area stays wet most of them time. The wires are located under the carpet and you will notice how wet that area is.

Haven't driven this car in over a year. I've upgraded to a Panamera turbo executive with extended wheel base. A sweet ride!
Have had absolutely NO issues with new car! I guess the many problems of the original Panamera has been fixed with this incarnation. The car has about 35,000 miles in and it's been smooth sailing!

Your battery possibly has a bad cell or has otherwise failed and is not providing proper voltage to run your vehicles electronics.

One last thing I've never mentioned. This car drinks oil like it's nobody's business! It wasn't always like that, though.
One day many moons ago, I've brought it over to a dealership Schneider Neilson and told them about the idle and when you go from a start at a stop sign or red light, the first gear, which doesn't get engaged, it starts really slow until it engages into the second gear. I don't know what the guys at the dealership did but after that, ever 5k miles, it would drink a quart of oil.
I must have fed the thing so much oil over the years, but the exhaust never smelled much if any burnt oil. The Turbo exhaust smells more but it rarely requires a quart of oil, maybe after 10k+ miles?
I never did asked the dealership about it. Just thought it would be cheaper to feed it more oil than to bring it back to be checked out.

Sounds like a faulty ignition. Depending on how many miles it has check your coils for cracking. Mine did the same thing and I found two cracked coil packs. I imagine the car will always do this to save itself. Anything from misfire to voltage to fuel pressure.

Of course, after the fact, I now know I could have tried it myself instead of paying Porsche technicians almost $200 an hour to repair it.
They charge almost as much as lawyers, which typically run $400-500 an hour.

I wish I saved the invoices as it showed the error codes...
I've had this issue fixed as stated below. It was the computer that controlled the other half of the engine. Unfortunately months after the warranty time expired. Along with my AC fan blower and driver side door lock mechanism.... but that's another story....
I had another issue where the same errors in the video came up but this time, after diagnostic, they said the battery outage was a little on the low side. About $800 for a new battery and a few small fixes plus new spark plug wires that totaled another $1000+, the car now runs smoothly.
You can try new spark plugs and wires for the failing cylinder.

    Bad ignition coil.
I had the same issue. Took it to the dealer. They said coil #3 was bad, which caused all the other warning lights to come on for no reason at all. I didn't believe them but still paid the $1900 for them to change all the coils and spark plugs. The problem went away. Can you believe that, the dealer was right lol

First thing first, check the battery and that it’s good. A new one from Porsche is $500+ or you can get one from pep boys or the like for under $200. Make sure you connect power to the terminals such as a trickle charger so you don’t lose any settings.
These cars are like a computer. If the voltage isn’t right, it can trip many sensors, which will give you a faulty error code and this will send you off on a wild goose chase.
Save some time and make sure the battery is good.

Apologies. I Forget the exact thing done but they said it was “half” of the engine or something. They said it was split and half of it was bad.
However, I’ve since sold the car and bought a Panamera turbo executive edition! It has enough legroom in the back that it can be used as a limo service.
Sweet ride and lots of fun driving it!

I just spoke to someone that has a Panamera GTS and he has had the same problem multiple times. Turns out it was the fuel pump for one half of the engine. That is why the car starts with a an error telling you it is running on low power mode.
I will contact Porsche about it as I've brought it in 3 or 4 times with the same problem and pointed it out to them but they were never able to figure out the problem.
The warranty is out now. However, we will see if they hold good on their claim that a rep from Porsche USA said that if something similar crops up, they will still cover it since it was in before the warranty ended.
