This moment is why the producers wanted to make the books into a TV show. George RR Martin doesn't want you to feel safe like you do reading other stories. The threat of your favorite characters dying keeps you invested.
Well, we can confidently say George RR Martin achieved his goal….We don’t feel safe watching GOT anymore! 🫠
Ned’s death set the tone early on, but this threw us for a loop 🙃 this is on another level!
You are absolutely right though, we are invested in this show and where everything goes from here 😬🫣
@@SandGReactionsit's weird that with everything thing we've been through in 3 seasons that this episode kinda feels like where the story really starts.
The thing about Game of Thrones which really makes it different than other shows is that other shows tell you who the main characters are upfront. One may occasionally die a shocking death but that's it. Game of Thrones gives you a whole armada of characters and spends seven seasons whittling them down until the eighth season is finally just the main cast.
@@ZacharyLoeserWhy.... unnecessary spoiler foreshadowing 🤐
@@baesiclee I’m not saying anything that I didn’t figure out myself after watching this episode the first time.
One of the best eps in tv history. Michelle Fairley acting was beyond great. You could feel her pain in that moment when they killed Rob. Any acting that makes you feel the way she made us feel in that scene.
Agreed! Michelle Fairley really killed it in this scene! 😜 Jokes aside, she really delivered some powerful stuff! 💪 Her talent to translate that emotion to us was crazy! 🤯
As viewers, we have been waiting for this episode, for your reaction.... I suppose we are always curious if we were the only ones to experience the feels you had. And when your reaction matched ours, I suppose it makes us feel we (us and you) are a lot alike...were not alone or silly over a tv show. The genuine feelings and reaction matches the same as most everyone experienced at the end of this episode. Sisi's last words are an echo of thousands before saying the same thing, all I will say is, we were where you are... yet we still feel it was one of the greatest series of all time....must be a reason. Great, honest reaction!! Stay the course, all the good and the difficult/trying times ahead....because by now you realize this show has no boundaries, no blueprint.....and at the end, I know you will feel it was worth it. Hope your well and have a great rest of your week. See you Wed.
Last week when they posted episode eight I think we were all very anxious for this episode. It’s crazy that no matter what reaction channel you watch. This is pretty much the reaction. Because the pain from it is visceral
This ep kicked off the entire video reaction era😂
🤣 We can see why!!! This episode is bonkers! 🤯 GOT's shock factor is in a different league! 🙃
Clearly you've never heard of Two Girls One Cup.
As it is said many times, you are no longer "sweet summer children."
“If you think this has a happy ending, you haven’t been paying attention” 😭
😭😭
They are so wrong for having that big moment at the start of the episode making us think Robb is going to take Casterly Rock, “show them how it feels to lose what they love”. Little did we know Cat was talking to us 😭
Rains of castamere air 10 years ago and still feel new when watching again
What a rollercoaster of an episode! 🫣🙃 🫠
Michelle said the “I don’t wanna watch it anymore” is so real 🤣
It is not "so real", since she will keep watching. It is an emotional response in the moment.
🤣 We feel her pain! We had to take a solid break from GOT after this episode 😭😱🫠
@@USCFlash false. It is “so real”
@@ronjaxn
It is only "real" if it happened. We know she continued. So it is not, "so real". Maybe check a dictionary for what "real" means.
It is very emotional, it is not "so real"....since it does not actually happen.
@@USCFlash false. You’re wrong. And you clearly don’t know what “so real” means. It’s ok though. I’m glad you’re here on RUclips. 🙏🏼 you’re doing gods work by going around and teaching people. God bless.
Hang in there.. lots of great things to come.
We’re hanging in there! Looking forward to what’s next after this! 😬🫣

@@SandGReactions after season4-5 it goes downhill quick
Joy and Pain, like sunshine and rain. The essence of this show.
#FACTS!!!
The Rains of Castamere was the Lannister song that is based of when Tywin slaughtered the Castameres. And it was started playing at this wedding and Cat knew the song and its meaning, so she had her suspicion. Cersei mentioned it earlier season but can’t remember who she wast talking to when she mentioned it.
Thanks for the note on the song! That’s crazy symbolism!
Cersei was talking to Margery when she shared that story
The Reynes, not the Castameres. Castamere is a castle, Roger Reyne was lord of Castamere.
I saw THIS episode was the reaction and immediately felt the need to apologize and give you both a hug. Everything changes after this! Thanks for sharing your journey with us
Aww thanks for the support! We can definitely use hugs after this episode 😔
We appreciate you joining us on the journey!
The stark contrast between you guys at the beginning and then the end of the video, love it 😂😂
😭 we had noooo idea what was coming
BTW liking the word play 😭
@@SandGReactions Keen eye 😂
My favorite thing about the scene where sam and gilly arrive at the wall when she's impressed by his ability to read is that it's a call back to when Sam first joined the nights watch. When Jon is sad that he didn't get assigned to the Rangers cuz he "always wanted to be a ranger" and Sam says "I always wanted to be a wizard". It's just so sweet
Thanks for pointing that out, we remember that exchange! We absolutely love how this show has so many callbacks, symbols, and foreshadows! 😁
“Maybe it’s her wedding song from when she married Ned…” 😂😂😂 I’m sorry but that cracked me up. Sorry y’all had to witness this heartbreak like we did.
😭 the heartache
The song was The Raine's of Castamire. Cercei told us how her father has the Raine family slaughtered for trying to rise above the Lanisters. Catelyn recognized the song immediately and was on her guard. But too late.
@@88happiness Tywin Lannister just sends a Minstrel to play "The Rains of Castamere" to any of his vassals that get ideas above their station. They soon get the message. Definitely a song one should hear at a wedding...
I might be wrong but The Rains of Castamere is the song that played when the doors closed at the wedding, and we saw Lord Bolton's chainmail. I think the song is also the Lannister theme song.
Wow! The symbolism of that song
We’ve been waiting for you all to get to this episode. Reaction channels actually started because of this episode when it first premiered. I don’t think anyone had ever seen something so heart wrenching on television until the red wedding premiered. And it’s one of those episodes where you literally have to go out on a walk or do something fun after because it just leaves you in a deepdespair
Wow! Crazy to think this episode really ignited the reaction channel culture, we can see why! 🤯 We are so glad we started our reaction channel with GOT! 😜 Thats funny you say that because we were left a bit uneasy for the rest the evening and had to go for a long walk to change the vibe 🙃
@@SandGReactions that’s a pretty common reaction from other couples after this episode. They just need to go on a walk and kind of just mellow out. But so happy you all reached 1000 subscribers with this episode! So there’s something to be happy about.
And
Game of thrones isn't done kicking you in the nuts just yet. Plenty more surprises to come :D
Indeed 😅😂
"This has been a great season"... Oh my sweet summer child! 😢 You're in the great game now!
😳😬
This is the moment when you graduate from sweet summer children into hardened men and women of winter.
I wish you both good fortune in the wars to come
Thanks for the wishes! We’re going to need them! 😅
“Maybe it’s their wedding song” 😂 that was great
😰had no clue then
There are so many reactors that just stared at the screen for a minute and just turned their cameras off. Take your time with this one. We all needed the full week until the next episode when this premiered.
Jon had to leave Ygritte. You saw how he pushed her out of the way when he started fighting The Wildlings. Jon knew Ygritte would fight her people for him and he didn’t want The Wildlings to turn on her, too. And Jon couldn’t take Ygritte with him because you know where he’s going.
That song that was playing when Kat looked up at the musicians (after the doors were closed) was a song you have heard lannister soldiers singing. "The Reins of Castemere" about the Reins who were destroyed by the Lanisters when they started getting too big for their britches. It's why she was suddenly unsettled.
The episode that broke everyone
Over 10 years on I'm still processing this scene.
🫣😳🙃🫠
This is a tough episode....the actress that played Robb Stark's mother is so good that it's too realistic for me to watch.
Just keep watching, and it will get better.
Agreed! She did an amazing job! This episode was so tough to watch 😭😭😭
This threw us for a loop, looking forward to whats to come next after this mess 🤔
@SandGReactions She's a great actress. I liked Queen Talia also. (That's Charlie Chaplin's granddaughter, Oona Chaplin btw).
@@SandGReactions Michelle Fairley es Impresionante como actriz
"What just happened?" lol Literally everyone's reaction immediately after the episode ends. Just the feeling of pure disbelief. This is one of the most impactful, dramatic, gut wrenching episodes of any TV show that I've ever watched. To this day I can't get the image of her getting repeatedly stabbed in her pregnant belly out of my head. It's one of those horrifying things that just sticks with you. This episode was a dramatic shift in the series and because of the emotions it brings out in you, I think this was one of the greatest hours of television I've ever watched.
Literally… we feel the exact same sentiment you described. An episode we will NEVER forget
"Don't you want to teach little Ned Stark to ride horses?" Is ironically the most evil dialogue ever written. How dare they make us that happy before making us that sad lol
How dare them! 😂 😭
You guys are no longer sweet summer children congratulations.
Feels like we are lost children now 🫠

We can totally understand why after this episode! The roller coaster of emotions is crazy! 🤯 🫣 😭 🙃 🫠
Glad we started our Reaction Channel with GOT! 😅
I just watched this episode and I wasn't ready for all of that. I did feel suspicious when she noticed the door closed and the music change
Fun fact…?
The drummer at the red wedding is Will Champion, the drummer from Coldplay..
Loving the fun fact! Thanks! 🥁
32:32 she plugged her nose 😂 CANNONBALL!
🤣🤣🤣
I cryed myself to sleep for 2 weeks in 2010 because of A Storm of Swords - Chapter 51 - Catelyn VII. It took me 5 years, to go back and pick up the book, start it over and finish it before the Series was over in HBO. This broke me in so many ways. George is a fucking genius.
Fucking genius 🙌🏼🙌🏼🔥🔥 it destroys you, but then you’re hooked and want more 😅😅
Hola, Dulces Adultos de Invierno, The Rains of Castamere is the song that Cercei teaches Margaery, what her father Tywin did with that family that had aspirations, The law of hospitality is Sacred and the North Remembers,, You already know the Red Wedding, now you understand why Roose Bolton is so good to Jaime 🖤❄&🔥´♬ Descansen en Paz
The Red Wedding. It shocked so many folks who did not read the books...including me 😭. I read the books after, and it was even worse. Cat's last words, just as they were about to get her throat were, "Not my hair. Ned likes my hair." The book writer knew he was going to do this BEFORE he wrote the first book. He did this halfway through book 3, BUT he finished the book then went back and did this chapter last. It was hard for him because he had been treating them as real people in his mind. Like his children. 😰 More gut punches and shocks to come. Please stick with it.
The thumbnail says it all...
Robb and Catylin did it to themselves. Had to to the "right thing" by beheading the leader of 1/2 of his army, but then not the right thing by keeping his Oath to marry a Frey because he no longer needed the Frey's at the time. Now tht he needed them again, he attempted to placate them by giving them a family member for a husband. (Not the same as a Queen) Jaime being hostage held the Lannisters "in check" . If Jaime was still a hostage of their side in a cell somewhere, would the lannisters have risked Jaime's life? When you play the Game, you win or you die.
I'm glad you didn’t censor the gory parts. So many of these big-name reactors water everything down just to chase ad revenue, and it’s pathetic. They’re part of the reason this platform is becoming a hollow shell of what it used to be (enshitification). But you? You showed everything the way it’s meant to be seen. I also didn’t catch any censorship of language, so props for that too. The ones who bleep every word and try to turn everything into G-rated kindergarten content are beyond insufferable. Thank you for not being one of them.
The Freys And The Lannisters send their regards

@@SandGReactions I just adore you guys from the very first episode, because you both looked so innocent and excited and all I could think of what OMG! they are in for it, and I was actually nervous too. I have not commented till now, because I wanted to see how you guys will handle this horrific episode aka "The Red Wedding" I teared up, when Sisi started tearing up too. For the many times I have seen this great! series ever made, I still freaking tear up when it gets to S3 E9, imagine that. So many established reaction channels watched this series after monetization to be able to rip the economic benefits. I wish for your channel that you had gotten more subscribers from lesser movies and shows and then hit "Game of Thrones" at the highest of your channel to get bank! for all your time watching, reacting and editing. I really don't think new reaction channel should start off with GoT, because you won't get compensated really for all your hard work. I LUV! you guys and wishing more, and more success on your channel. Thank you! so much for all that you do for our viewing pleasures.
Remember they not only killed Robb, Cat, Talisa and the baby, so there's your answer to what gonna happen to the war, atleast on the North side.
10:30 in season 1 when jon gets assigned to the stewards in the Wall, Sam tries to confort him by saying "i always wanted to be a wizard🤷"
Also those pieces you see on Robb's map symbolize sigils of houses. Those specifically, the ones you called "Theon" 😅, belong to House Bolton (yep, as the guy that stabbed Robb). Flaying people as depicted was their tradition until i believe Ned forbid it.
True! We're looking forward to seeing whats to come next after this craziness of an episode 🤪

Bro wtf is the point of this video? You guys literally just sit there with a 😐 face the entire time. I thought a reaction video was supposed to have some reactions. Do better.
Michelle says she dosn't want to watch any more. But this is the scene that made reacting to tv shows a thing on youtube. Or I should say very popular. P.S. the show gets better after this and many peeps feel seasons 4-6 are the best seasons.
When Cat looks at the three musicians playing, 31:00, the dude on the right is a member of the group Coldplay. Apparently, the group were big fans of the show. Not a ColdPlay fan myself but I learned this from an excellent satire ColdPlay made about GoT's sometime after this season. Spoiler-wise, I think it's safe to watch it after this season but some people say after season 4. It is really good and very funny so you should consider watching it. And it's only about 10 minutes long or so.
