1) Non/Disney is the term that has been used for 10 years in the community to define AMV-like videos (and manips) created with content both from Disney (the better-known majority) and from others animation studios.
That's where the term Non/Disney comes from, to make things easier.
2) The choice I made for the villains was not accidental and I have deliberately inserted anti-heroes and simple antagonists. Because I didn't want to do the usual video with the usual villains, and some even have the part in the video where I tried to empathize with them (since at the end, some of them are just victim).
Why did I leave the word "villains" in the title? Because the longer a title is, the worse it is shared by RUclips. So take "Villains" as a multi-faceted macro topic, a characterization with shades of grey. Nothing is black or white.
Also, the reason why I didn't use Kai from Kung Fu Panda is that there's an ENTIRE VIDEO with him, entirely dedicated to him. Video that happens to be the inspiration behind this video of mine.

In any case, my choices are stylistic: I didn't use other villains for a variety of reasons. I know Kai exists, I know the song is based on him and I actively chose NOT to use him in the video.
3) The word "Tribute". I don't want in any way to exalt or glorify the ACTIONS or deeds of any character featured in this video. Most of them are pure and simple villains, so they obviously did some horrible things. Honestly, if you see this video as glorifying bad deeds in general I think you have completely missed the point.
Especially with Griffith.
I remember that in this video we have: serial k1ll€rs, gen0cid€s of entire populations, a clear reference to the SS, representations of the worst side of capitalism (and animals k1ll€rs), murd€r0us pirates and thieves, kidnappers of little girls, manipulators, tyrants and power 4busers.
The least serious cases we have is a s€xist m1sogynist and a villain-victim (who anyways had committed crimes during the story). What a wonderful childhood we had, if you think about it.
The tribute is direct to how the characters are characterized, the work that went into creating them, their backstory and what makes them special in a NARRATIVE and media context. Not in the real world.
And Griffith has one of the best character development and backstory (thank you Kentaro) which bring him where is now: to be the absolute WORST/BEST villain ever created in media history. He is a villain at 360 degrees, what he does in his history is so terrible and to those who do those things (I remember his whole friends and more).
He's one of the worst bad guys on media and deserves to be in this video, which is literally filled with horrible characters (in an ethical sense of the term).
Because I got tired of being told I shouldn't have put Griffith on because he did too horrible things. YES, that's exactly the point. Is the TOP of the WORST. Like many others in the video (not everybody), he is a HORRIBLE person and does HORRIBLE things.
Also because, I would like to remind you, according to the reasoning of some users, Griffith is not ok but the murd€r€rs of ethnic groups and s€rial k1ll€rs are. The problem is only Griffith, not the mass-murd€r€d or the kidnappers.
Please, I ask you to contextualize things correctly. Thank you.

also in the movie meet the robinsons the villain understands the protagonist at the end and leaves aimlessly and the girl (I don't remember the name of the movie) wasn't bad they made her bad and in the end after talking to the protagonist she understands and rest forever.

After rewatching this I realized that there are two types of villains. Those who abandon themselves to anger and hatred, and follow the path of evil until their own choices lead them to self-destruction; and those who at some point manage to put their anger aside, and decide that their life is too valuable to waste it like that. And this is basically what happens in real life. You can chace vengeance till it destroy you, or just let it go and live your life pacefully. The choice is yours.

Another thing that was interesting is that when she showcases her mug Lionheart got her, we can see a sticky note that has Doug's phone number on it. I literally can’t explain the existence of “cartoons are just for kids” opinion, since this masterpiece exists. It shows strong, passionate, deep characters. Literally LOTS OF THEM. Griffith and Rumpelstiltskin of all people both syncing up to the "You never know the top till you get too low" works surprisingly well for them.
Femto, Griffith at his top is literally born out of tortured Griffith at his lowest.
Rumpelstiltskin managed to snatch away what's basically an entire timeline where he won from a simple contract to take ONE day and suddenly he's literally at top of the food chain, forget about Fairy or Charming.
The fact you made Mrs. Tweety look like a serious bad ass villain shows how good this is

0:23 k but can we talk about how good and underrated this movie is? The "villain" (snake) turned out to be someone who makes justice in his way. Describing it as "sending them to hell". It explains so many things of the real world but it still is a kids movie. The villains in general are so well writen, the characters desing are so original and realistic that it makes you uncomfortable in some way, the plot is interesting, it has a great soundtrack, realistic villains, ugh everything is so perfect.🐙

I love final scene, the calm part and then the epic one. Because it shows that there two kind of villains:
The first one is about who decide to give up, let the pain go and redimed themselves.

Take Syndrome for example: He was just a kid with dreams of becoming a superhero. When his idol brought him down, he was sent into a depression which caused him to try to prove he was better than the others. He could’ve been a good hero, but he wasn’t saved and was just brought down.
Since I’m an anime fan, I’m gonna use Dabi for this next example: He was a kid who just had twisted morals and a few issues. He could’ve been a good hero, but because of his fucking PARENTS, he left them and became a villain.
Last one is The Onceler which is pretty obvious: He has EXTREME mommy issues and felt like he wasn’t enough for anyone. When his clothes got popular and his parents acknowledged him, he continued to make them so he could be loved. In the end, he realized his mistake, but that could’ve been all avoided.

1. MANY underrated villains are here and I’m glad they’re being appreciated. Ex: Rattlesnake Jake, Lord shen, lady krum.
2. The editing was FANTASTIC! And I LOVED the music choice!
3. I LOVE how you made the character lip sync in some scenes.
4. I love how it ends with Dr. Facilier, it feels right!

To be honest, I don't think it was a movie, but "Batman: The Animated Series".
When you realised that most of the Villain actually have a good/sad reason why they do all of the bad thing they do on the movie, and only some of them just being bstrd, but they just want to take what supposed to be their/just their Instinct to survive
