I have to say this. The line *"You'll never be loved, till you've made your own,"* perfectly described Ernesto's character by a hundred percent. Without his friend's talent, you'll never be loved by many. Top notch syncing on both lyric, scenes, and character. Well done!!! 👏👏👏
The coolest thing about this video is that he had to find and put some of the scenes at the exact moment to make it seem as if the villains were singing the lyrics of the song
After rewatching this I realized that there are two types of villains. Those who abandon themselves to anger and hatred, and follow the path of evil until their own choices lead them to self-destruction; and those who at some point manage to put their anger aside, and decide that their life is too valuable to waste it like that. And this is basically what happens in real life. You can chace vengeance till it destroy you, or just let it go and live your life pacefully. The choice is yours.
For example, evil future mordecai from the regular show movie... he was betrayed by future rigby, so his rage took over him and shot him... but he would realise it was never worth shooting his best friend from childhood over not entering a university because of rigbys sabotage

When I hit bottom, I was crushing man’s skull like sparrow egg between my thighs. And I think, why you have to be so bad Zangief? Why can’t you be more like good guy? Then I have moment of clarity. If Zangief is good guy, who’ll crush man’s skull like sparrow’s egg between thighs? And I say, Zangief, you are "bad guy", but this does not mean you are bad guy.
What I love much more is that they took megamind as the villain for this. "What do you mean with there is a other guy acting like a villain in megamind? Sorry don't know him 🤷♀️"
Griffith and Rumpelstiltskin of all people both syncing up to the "You never know the top till you get too low" works surprisingly well for them. Femto, Griffith at his top is literally born out of tortured Griffith at his lowest. Rumpelstiltskin managed to snatch away what's basically an entire timeline where he won from a simple contract to take ONE day and suddenly he's literally at top of the food chain, forget about Fairy or Charming.
I literally can’t explain the existence of “cartoons are just for kids” opinion, since this masterpiece exists. It shows strong, passionate, deep characters. Literally LOTS OF THEM. LOTS of serious, complex emotions. It just such a great quintessential video of everything strong and complicated about cartoons. I adore this video, thank you so much!!!
Not only do the lyrics match really well, but the the way the music is timed with the villains is absolutely amazing. Especially with our first scenes of Rattlesnake Jake, Mrs Krum and Mrs Tweedy, genius! Or shall i say, Diabolical...

i used to hate my name, ursula, as there was a villain called ursula. but now i’m older, i was blessed with it. i love my name, and i will use it to my advantage 😚
I loved how during the “life Isn’t always what you think it’d be” part of the song you only showed the sympathic villains. This is a badass tribute (surprised you threw some anime villains in there too).
What I love about villains is that they are a dark reflection of human nature. They are an example to the audience of the danger of unchecked toxic traits. Pride, hate, pleasure, vengefulness, stubbornness, greed, wrath, and jealousy.. villains are just heroes if it’s all left unchecked, and left to fester upon itself, and turn into something wicked. What’s interesting about villains is that the audience can almost peer into their characters and find pieces of themselves in it, because really they’re all just people who’ve lost themselves to their impulses. It’s why we love villains. They’re tragic, but so complex and cool and funny.
I think that too! My personal mission is using movies that are not often used in the community. They deserve more love ;_; And thank you so much for the kind words!
Many things to say about this: 1. MANY underrated villains are here and I’m glad they’re being appreciated. Ex: Rattlesnake Jake, Lord shen, lady krum. 2. The editing was FANTASTIC! And I LOVED the music choice! 3. I LOVE how you made the character lip sync in some scenes. 4. I love how it ends with Dr. Facilier, it feels right!

Every single second was amazing, the secret lipsyncing was fucking flawless! Even seeing that maniac from chicken run!! Perfect timing! Every lyric that was added was smooth and effortlessly. Adding in some Studio Ghibi, god you must know my favy film by added in Princess Mono.

0:23 k but can we talk about how good and underrated this movie is? The "villain" (snake) turned out to be someone who makes justice in his way. Describing it as "sending them to hell". It explains so many things of the real world but it still is a kids movie. The villains in general are so well writen, the characters desing are so original and realistic that it makes you uncomfortable in some way, the plot is interesting, it has a great soundtrack, realistic villains, ugh everything is so perfect.🐙
I love final scene, the calm part and then the epic one. Because it shows that there two kind of villains: The first one is about who decide to give up, let the pain go and redimed themselves. ... And the other is who doesn't give a crab, and who doesn't wanna give up until the dead.

“Villains are hero's who weren’t saved.” LeT mE eXpLaIn WhY Take Syndrome for example: He was just a kid with dreams of becoming a superhero. When his idol brought him down, he was sent into a depression which caused him to try to prove he was better than the others. He could’ve been a good hero, but he wasn’t saved and was just brought down. Since I’m an anime fan, I’m gonna use Dabi for this next example: He was a kid who just had twisted morals and a few issues. He could’ve been a good hero, but because of his fucking PARENTS, he left them and became a villain. Last one is The Onceler which is pretty obvious: He has EXTREME mommy issues and felt like he wasn’t enough for anyone. When his clothes got popular and his parents acknowledged him, he continued to make them so he could be loved. In the end, he realized his mistake, but that could’ve been all avoided. What I love about villains is that they are a dark reflection of human nature. They are an example to the audience of the danger of unchecked toxic traits. Pride, hate, pleasure, vengefulness, stubbornness, greed, wrath, and jealousy.. villains are just heroes if it’s all left unchecked, and left to fester upon itself, and turn into something wicked. What’s interesting about villains is that the audience can almost peer into their characters and find pieces of themselves in it, because really they’re all just people who’ve lost themselves to their impulses. It’s why we love villains. They’re tragic, but so complex and cool and funny.
The world doesn't need heroes any more. The world needs monsters with a cause.

Many things to say about this:
1. MANY underrated villains are here and I’m glad they’re being appreciated. Ex: Rattlesnake Jake, Lord shen, lady krum.
2. The editing was FANTASTIC! And I LOVED the music choice!

0:23 k but can we talk about how good and underrated this movie is? The "villain" (snake) turned out to be someone who makes justice in his way. Describing it as "sending them to hell". It explains so many things of the real world but it still is a kids movie. The villains in general are so well writen, the characters desing are so original and realistic that it makes you uncomfortable in some way, the plot is interesting, it has a great soundtrack, realistic villains, ugh everything is so perfect.🐙

Take Syndrome for example: He was just a kid with dreams of becoming a superhero. When his idol brought him down, he was sent into a depression which caused him to try to prove he was better than the others. He could’ve been a good hero, but he wasn’t saved and was just brought down.
Since I’m an anime fan, I’m gonna use Dabi for this next example: He was a kid who just had twisted morals and a few issues. He could’ve been a good hero, but because of his fucking PARENTS, he left them and became a villain.
Last one is The Onceler which is pretty obvious: He has EXTREME mommy issues and felt like he wasn’t enough for anyone. When his clothes got popular and his parents acknowledged him, he continued to make them so he could be loved. In the end, he realized his mistake, but that could’ve been all avoided.
