SPOILERS FROM SEASON 1 OF GOTHAM
I finally got around to watching Gotham! I was very skeptical at first because I had heard a lot of mixed things & that Batman comic fans didn't like it. But as a comic fan, I gotta say that I found it incredibly entertaining. There's a few uneven storylines of course, but it makes up for it in sheer crazyness and over-the-top.... everything. I know a lot of people don't like that, but I find it super fun. I particularly love the portrayal of young Bruce's story. The actor they have playing our future B-man knocks it out of the park.
So enjoy this vid! I know this song is super overused but I just thought it fit so well.

I just binged the show and I totally agree! I guess he did probably inspire Bruce along with Alfred in how he would eventually act as Batman. Alfred showed him how to show compassion and let others make their own paths in life (that he can't tell or force people to change who they are/their ways) while Gordon showed him to take the law into his own hands, to believe in hope (There WILL be light) but to know when to use force and his own darkness and when to not, much like Alfred (but he SAW it much more in Gordon and the struggle).
I wanted to tell you that because of this edit I started watching Gotham and now I'm 100% addicted.

She isn't wrong, the last season alone (the one where martial law is in place) is everyone fighting then uniting, but this tv show was amazing and one of the best I have ever seen

I didn't think it was that slow. As soon as Oswald finally revealed to the police that he was alive, everything else sped up.
Oh, and there's a huge plot twist no one saw coming, but I'm not going to tell you anything except that it's brilliant

As always, your editing here is fantastic! I haven't seen the show (yet), but you made it look absolutely amazing and epic! I'm still in awe with how well this video flows and how on point all the sound effects/voiceovers are! You are a truly amazing editor.
+Ilovehertjes You should most definitely watch this show! And please don't be discouraged if the first season isn't A+, because it isn't. It's a bit disjointed, and suffers a tad from the "Villain of the week"-syndrome. BUT now that season 2 is underway, I can tell you it gets better. Oh dear lord, does it get better! We now have a more overarching story line unfolding, more of the best characters, and probably the next Emmy Award winner, Cameron Monaghan, absolutely stealing every scene he is in as a proto-Joker. He is seriously up there with Nicholson and Ledger, I'm not kidding. Watch it! :D
+3X73RM I definitely want to watch the show :) My problem has more to do with the little amount of time I have, sadly. But it sounds so great! I personally don't mind the whole "Villaint of the week"-thing, as it usually give me a chance to get to know the main characters, so I'm sure I'll like the first season. I hope I can find some time to get started on this show soon, as I can't wait to watch it :D

I know everyone mostly watches Gotham for the villain backstories, but I am in love with all of the history for Jim Gordon and Alfred!! I mean , seriously , how can you not love Sean Pertwee in this role!

Cameron Monaghan is the best JOKER actor after Heath Ledger for me at the moment not Jared Leto or Joaquin Phoenix.
Monaghan plays two outstanding different J. (Joker) with a incredible acting performance and he is only 25 years old.

Still here! Just rewatched the final season and want a new version of this clip with scenes from all seasons! With Penguin holding a surgeon's knife and smiling at Falcone, with Lee and Riddler stabbing each other, with the grown up handsome and cool Bruce from the 5th season kicking someone's ass.
This made me watch the show. I'm so thankful for this masterpiece

I watched this before watching the show and I thought Ed, Oswald, and Jerome were all different versions of The Joker (You know like the 3 Jokers) But it was Jeremiah the whole time.

I still need to catch up on the series - I might have time - but I was pre-spoiled by tumblr, so no worries! This is badass and totally does the show and song justice . . . or injustice, as it were. I've only heard this song in this video and Chris' so I didn't know it was overused at all, but I'm kind of addicted to it now XD
