Here's a bit of a follow up video to our comic films video from last year. This time we wanted to focus solely on the MCU. We didn't include all of Marvel (no Deadpool, X-men, TV shows, etc...). So before you complain in the comments, this was intentional. haha

Let’s see here. Steve and Bucky were both WW2 soldiers, the war effort being the dream, but you could also make the argument that it was the super soldier program. Granted, Steve did that willingly while Bucky was an unwilling test subject of brainwashing and experiments...but let’s not get into semantics. And if we’re taking the line about shadows literally, these men have taken part in a war that still holds the title of “bloodiest armed conflict in the world”, and that’s on a global scale. So, they’d cast a pretty big figurative shadow.

EVERY "ting ting" bit, the sychronization of footsteps on "valley of kings", the montage of men who sold themselves for a dream, THE DARK THE DARK THE DARK, explosion montage!!, somehow making sharp exhales in time to the freaking music, WHOOOOOSH!! Like this is art. Or magic. It's just so good and exhilarating and ADDICTIVE to watch. So so good!! I am in awe of this masterpiece!
And that‘s putting it mildly…

I literally can't listen to the original song anymore because it's missing the sound effects from this version. They just work so perfectly with the music, it feels incomplete without them.

I keep coming back to this video as a master-class example of what fan music videos should be. The timing on the editing is impeccably tight, with the "ting tings" especially mapped perfectly to the clip choices. The clips themselves flow into each other perfectly, with the attention to similar placement of major figures within the shots. The clips are also chosen to resonate extremely well with the lyrics, especially the contrast of Steve and Bucky on "Men who sold their lives to a dream." The integration of the actual sound in the clips meshes perfectly with the rhythm of the song, nothing CLASHES. The whole thing is just... first rate.

Tony is the heart of the mcu because he was willing to sacrifice his life, his heart, his family, a bright future that he could've lived but he chose to sacrifice everything for the mcu hence, because he was kind and he had a *heart* . Meanwhile, Steve, Captain America is the face of the mcu because he was the true captain, not nick, not brie, him. He led the avengers protocol, he's the one always ahead of the pack, the spearhead, he is the face of hope, courage, faith, duty, loyalty and country, but even though he was ahead of the team, Tony is its heart and center.
But also yeah, steve might as well be the ass of the mcu...

I've always wondered how did you take the music out of fight scenes?
She downloads the movies in some special format or file or something. I can't remember what it's called, but if you go on her Ask you'll find the answer somewhere as she's answered this questions multiple times
Probably very high quality versions where the audio tracks are separated so you can take out certain individual ones.
You download the video and you separate the audio and video part. Delete the audio and there ya go. At least that's how I do it.
She could have also just gotten rid of the audio and added the appropriate sound effects in the editing process
Pretty sure Audacity can do that. I think I've seen a video of someone talking about how it works before? It also works vise versa.

Also, the twins, Wanda and Pietro, they have to be the most overpowered mutants ever, not including Jean of course, but like in the MCU they are so powerful. Wanda drove the Avengers to insanity without them even knowing she was amongst them, and Quicksilver could run from a fight, grab a knife, run back, and kill everyone in only a matter of seconds

1:29 is my favorite moment because I love how Strange being knocked back isn't on that last "ting" but on the lyric instead. This whole video is just so beautiful! From the timing of each move with the rhythm, how the video subtly follow the lyrics, how the clips match up with one another perfectly, everything! I also like how you kept some of the original audio from the clips. I've rewatched this so many times (that I've lost count lmao) but it never ceases to amaze me. You and djcprod have got some real talent!!
